Description
Beschreibung description
Gürtelbandage für einen Fahrzeugluftreifen und Fahrzeugluftreifen, enthaltend diese GürtelbandageBelt bandage for a pneumatic vehicle tire and pneumatic vehicle tire containing this belt bandage
The invention relates to a belt bandage for a pneumatic vehicle tire, wherein the strength members of the belt bandage are nylon cords which are arranged substantially parallel to each other within the ply. Furthermore, the invention relates to a pneumatic vehicle tire containing such a belt bandage.
In order to prevent an elevation of the tire in the case of pneumatic vehicle tires, in particular in high-speed deployment, by the centrifugal forces occurring during driving, it is known to provide a belt bandage in a pneumatic vehicle tire. A radial type pneumatic vehicle tire generally has an air-impermeable inner layer, a radial carcass containing strength carriers, which extends from the zenith region of the tire over the sidewalls into the bead region and is usually anchored there by wrapping tensile bead cores, a profiled tread radially outwardly, and between the tread and the carcass arranged on belt, which is covered radially on the outside with a belt bandage. The belt bandage can be formed in one or more layers and covers at least the belt edges. The belt bandage usually includes parallel and substantially circumferentially extending reinforcing members in the form of cords embedded in rubber.
The bandage is applied in the manufacture of tires in the form of layers with embedded in an unvulcanized rubber compound reinforcing agents, which are wound on the belt or spooled as a strip. The strength members are embedded in rubber by forming a family of substantially parallel filiform Reinforcements, which are usually pretreated thermally and / or for better adhesion to the embedding rubber in a conventional manner with an impregnation, in the longitudinal direction through a calender or an extruder for sheathing with the rubber mixture. In the case of bombing with previously used devices and in the vulcanization of the tire, the tire usually extends in the shoulder area by the survey by up to 2% and in the center region by up to 5% compared to the unvulcanized blank when the blank on a flat drum is wound.
The cords of the bandage are to allow a sufficient elevation in the production of the tire during the cambering and the vulcanization, so that the tire can be precisely formed. In addition, they should ensure a good high speed capability after the completion of the tire while driving.
To date, nylon cords with titres greater than or equal to 940 dtex (940 × n, 1400 × n, with n greater than or equal to 1) have been known as reinforcements for the bandage. A disadvantage, however, is the tendency of the tire to the Fiatspot (booth training), a flattening of the tire contact patch, whereby the concentricity of the tire is impaired. It is also anxious to reduce the weight of a tire and thus its rolling resistance and save on the cost.
The present invention is based on the object to provide a belt bandage for pneumatic vehicle tires, which is inexpensive to manufacture, which nevertheless meets the requirements of a belt bandage. The belt bandage is intended to give the pneumatic vehicle tire high speed capability and reduce its rolling resistance.
The problem is solved by the nylon cord has the construction 470 x 2 and consists of two twisted yarns of about 470 dtex.
It is essential to the invention that a very fine 470 × 2 nylon cord is used as the strength support for a belt bandage and nevertheless the desired ones Properties of the belt bandage are obtainable in a pneumatic vehicle tire. A belt bandage with 470 x 2 nylon cords can adequately absorb the forces encountered during high-speed operation. In addition, the rolling resistance of the tire is improved by a reduced use of material by the fine cord, in particular by the resulting reduced compound use and the tendency to Fiatspot is reduced by the reduced nylon content. The tire also has high circumferential rigidity with the fine cord of the belt bandage, which provides good high speed properties. It also allows precise shaping during tire manufacture, giving the tire good uniformity.
It is advantageous if each of the two yarns of the cord with 300 to 500 t / m, preferably with 340t / m is twisted. With this number of turns, a spring-like effect of the cord is achieved, by which a sufficient elevation of the green tire is made possible in the manufacturing process. The material usage of nylon is comparatively low.
If the cord is twisted symmetrically with the same twist number but opposite direction of rotation as the yarn forming it, the cord is easy to process and has a good residual fatigue strength.
A radial type vehicle pneumatic tire comprising a carcass of at least one ply running around the bead cores from radially inward to radially outward, side walls, a tread and an at least single ply belt radially outwardly covered by a belt bandage, the side walls being axially adjacent or radially above of the belt ends and the belt bandage is arranged to cover at least the belt edges between the side wall and belt edge in the direction of the carcass, characterized in that the belt bandage cords as strength members made of nylon construction 470 x 2 has. The cord can be advantageously developed according to the disclosure of this application. Especially with STB (Sidewall to Beit) and SOT (Sidewall over Tread) constructions, it has been found that a strength effect of a 940 x 1 nylon belted bandage fabric can cause a sawing effect on the carcass cords. For in the STB and SOT constructions, the belt bandage, viewed in the tire cross-section, runs from above the belt between the belt edges and the sidewall strip towards the carcass and ends just above or directly at the carcass ply. There may be adverse sawing effects between the bandage edges and carcass ply.
Surprisingly, this sawing effect does not occur with an aforementioned 470 x 2 nylon fabric in STB or SOT constructions.
The above-described reinforcement layer can also be used as a bead reinforcement in a pneumatic vehicle tire. The advantage over known constructions is that it saves on material costs and on the weight of the tire.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Korde der Gürtelbandage weisen folgende Eigenschaften auf:The belt bandage is constructed of 470 x 2 nylon cord. Each of the two nylon yarns is S first twisted at 340 T / m and S twisted together at 340 T / m together. The cord is treated rubber-friendly. The strength structure described above can be used instead of the nylon cord construction 940 x 1. Especially with SOT and STB constructions no sawing effects occur on the carcass. The cords of the belt bandage according to the invention have the following properties:

The above-described 470 × 2 nylon cord according to the invention has comparable properties to the 940 × 1 nylon cord. However, the cord according to the invention is advantageously higher fatigue resistant. Thus, the cord according to the invention can be used as a belt bandage as an alternative to the 940 x 1 cord. In a SOT or STB design, no sawing effects occur on the carcass with the cord of the present invention, while these sawing effects were observed in a 940 x 1 belt belt bandage.
The inventive cord has a lower shrinkage compared to the 940 × 2 cord, which reduces flat spotting when used as a belt bandage strength member in the tire.
