- Purpose of the present invention is to achieve a drive member for a door or main door that is simple and economical to make, that allows to overcome the disadvantages of the state of the art and that develops a torque at exit that is greater than that of members known in the state of the art and having an overall reduced bulk.

- the drive member according to the present invention comprises at least a drive mean having its own nominal power, and able to generate a motion having a determinate torque and a determinate speed, and a reducing mean able to be connected on one side to the exit of said drive mean and on the other side to the main door, so as to vary as desired the values of torque and speed of the motion generated by the drive mean, so as to determine the correct movement of the door.
- the drive mean comprises an electric motor having a drive shaft able to transmit said motion, and a first reduction kinematism that is directly connected mechanically to the drive shaft, and able to determine a first variation in the ratios of torque and speed of motion, so as to transmit them to an associated first transmission shaft.

- all in all the entire drive member has at least a drive shaft, four transmission shafts and four kinematisms, to effect four variations in the ratios of torque and speed of the motion.

- the intermediate position of the output shaft with respect to the input shaft and the intermediate shaft renders the whole kinematism more compact and the transmission of power more efficient.

- the fourth reduction kinematism comprises a grooved profile made on the third transmission shaft, and a coordinated toothed wheel engaging with the grooved profile and keyed onto the fourth transmission shaft.
