Description

The present invention relates to a one-piece manual clamping tool for driving a fastener, the tool extending substantially in a general plane and being of the type described in the preamble of claim 1 and as disclosed in the document WO 99/06184 .

The invention is particularly applicable to flat wrenches, combination wrenches and polygonal wrenches, and in the following reference will be made to these applications.

In conditions of use in a small environment, such as a motor vehicle engine, these known keys have degraded sleeve compactness characteristics that do not facilitate the use of the tool. The phases of recovery of the fastener are long and repetitive.

The invention aims to overcome these disadvantages of using the key in a particularly ergonomic manner, while ensuring the robustness of the key.

A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un outil de serrage manuel monobloc selon la revendication 1.For this purpose, the invention relates to a one-piece manual clamping tool according to claim 1.

Other characteristics of the one-piece manual clamping tool according to the invention, which can be taken individually or in all their technically possible combinations, are described in claims 2 to 14.

To more conveniently describe the one-piece manual clamping tool according to the invention, it will be assumed to be oriented as illustrated in the drawings, that is to say extending along a longitudinal axis XX, a transverse axis Y, which define the XY general plane of the tool, and along a third axis Z defining the thickness of the tool.

The one-piece manual clamping tool 10 shown in FIGS. Figures 1 to 6 is intended primarily to screw and unscrew a fixing element 11 of hexagonal general shape, including a bolt or a nut.

This comprises two working heads 12 and 13 of the same opening, one being fork-shaped 12 and the other eye-shaped 13, in the example shown with a closed-profile eye, arranged at the ends of a handle 14. The latter, integral with the working heads 12 and 13, extends substantially along the longitudinal axis XX. It comprises a running part 15 connected respectively to the fork 12 and to the eye 13 via connection parts 16 and 17.

La section transversale du manche 14 est évolutive suivant la grande dimension A et la petite dimension B selon la position de la section suivant l'axe longitudinal X-X.The handle 14 has a cross section, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis XX, which has a relatively large transverse dimension A, substantially parallel to the general plane of the tool XY and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis XX, and a relatively small dimension B perpendicular to the general plane of the XY tool. The cross section of the handle 14 is scalable along the large dimension A and the small dimension B according to the position of the section along the longitudinal axis X-X.

The running portion 15 of the handle 14 has a cross section whose large dimension is progressively increasing from the connecting portions 16 and 17 to substantially the median plane 18 of the running portion along the longitudinal axis XX.

The connecting portions 16 and 17 are connected tangentially to the portion 15 and have a cross section whose large dimension is progressively increasing, along the longitudinal axis XX, from the running portion 15 of the handle 14 to their tangential connection with the corresponding work heads 12 and 13.

Thus, the connection between the or each connecting portion 16 and 17 and the running portion 15 of the handle 14 respectively corresponds to a maximum shrinkage 20 and 22 of the large dimension of the cross section. These neck shapes of minimum width allow the user to perform an angular maneuver of the key around the axis of the fastener in more favorable angular amplitude conditions than those in which an operator uses a key classic straight sleeve of constant width.

Le rapport élargissement maximal/rétrécissement maximal de la clé mixte 10 est supérieur à 1 et inférieur ou égal à 1,8.Furthermore, the running portion 15 of the handle 14 comprises at least one widening 24 maximum of the large dimension of the cross section. This form of maximum width is located substantially in the median plane 18 of the current portion 15. The maximum maximum enlargement ratio / maximum shrinkage of the mixed key 10 is greater than 1 and less than or equal to 1.8.

Sur la figure 2, la petite dimension du manche 14, c'est-à-dire la dimension suivant l'axe Z-Z, est progressivement croissante depuis la tête de travail 12 en forme de fourche jusqu'à la tête de travail 13 en forme d'oeil suivant l'axe longitudinal X-X.On the figure 2 , the small dimension of the handle 14, that is to say the dimension along the ZZ axis, is progressively increasing from the working head 12 in the form of a fork to the working head 13 in the shape of an eye following the longitudinal axis XX.

The handle 14 comprises two outer faces 26 and 28 having the large dimension A, substantially flat and substantially parallel to the general plane XY of the key. Each outer face 26 and 28 respectively has a longitudinal recess 30 and 32. A wall or fabric 34 separates the bottom of the recesses 30 and 32. The current portion of the handle thus has a cross section in the general shape of H.

Le ou chaque évidement longitudinal 30 et 32 se prolonge dans la ou chaque partie de raccordement 16 et 17 du manche légèrement au-delà des rétrécissements maximaux correspondants 20 et 22.The or each longitudinal recess 30 and 32 extends in the or each connecting portion 16 and 17 of the handle slightly beyond the corresponding maximum shrinks 20 and 22.

In the case of the combination wrench, the recesses 30 and 32 have ends 36 and 38 substantially facing each other on the side of the working head 12 in the form of a fork, and ends 40 and 42 offset longitudinally. of side of the working head 13 in the form of an eye. This avoids weakening forging tools in the connection region of the eye.

Le rapport épaisseur maximale/épaisseur minimale est compris entre 1,1 et 1,5.As shown on Figures 3 to 6 , the cross section of the handle 14 is scalable from one working head to the other along the axis XX, both in terms of shape and dimensional level. The large dimension A along the transverse axis YY and the small dimension B along the axis ZZ vary according to the position of the section along the axis XX. The ratio of maximum thickness to minimum thickness is between 1.1 and 1.5.

The change in the thickness of the mixed key 10 follows the curvature of a polynomial curve whose minimum thickness is substantially off-center with respect to the median plane 18.

The current portion of the handle of the key is designed such that the thickness of the handle in the bearing areas of the hand is increased relative to a conventional key and that the edges are free of sharp angles. Thus, the pressures on the bearing areas of the user's hand, in particular the thumb and the palm, are reduced, which makes the tool ergonomic, both in the approach phase and tightening phase.

In addition, the mechanical strength of the key is not affected by the optimized material distribution in the different cross sections of the handle.

The Figures 7 to 11 represent a first variant of the tool according to the invention in which key parts similar to those of the tool shown in FIGS. Figures 1 to 6 bear the same numerical references increased by 100.

The combination key 110 differs from the previously described key in that it lacks longitudinal recesses arranged on the outer faces 126 and 128 having the large dimension A. Thus, the various cross sections have a generally rectangular shape whose large dimension A and the small dimension B vary according to the position of the section along the longitudinal axis XX.

The Figures 12 and 13 represent a second variant of the tool according to the invention in which key parts similar to those of the tool shown in FIGS. Figures 1 to 6 carry the same numerical references increased by 200.

La petite dimension B atteint un minimum sensiblement dans le plan médian 218.The flat key 210 differs from the mixed key 10 described above with reference to the Figures 1 to 6 in that it includes two work heads of type to fork of different openings. The large dimension A of the cross section of the handle varies in a manner similar to that described in the context of the previous mixed key 10. The small dimension B of the cross section of the handle increases progressively, along the longitudinal axis XX, from the connecting portions 220 and 222 to substantially the median plane 218 of the running portion of the handle 214. The small dimension B reaches a minimum substantially in the median plane 218.

Le rapport épaisseur maximale/épaisseur minimale est compris entre 1,1 et 1,2.The ratio maximum widening / maximum shrinkage of the flat key 210 is greater than 1 and less than or equal to 1.8. The ratio of maximum thickness to minimum thickness is between 1.1 and 1.2.

The Figures 14 to 15 represent a third variant of the tool according to the invention in which key parts similar to those of the tool shown in FIGS. Figures 1 to 6 carry the same numerical references increased by 300.

La petite dimension B atteint un minimum sensiblement dans le plan médian 218.The wrenched key 310 differs from the mixed key 10 described above with reference to the Figures 1 to 6 in that it comprises two working heads of the eye type of different openings. The large dimension A of the cross section of the handle varies in a manner similar to that described in the context of the previous mixed key 10. The small dimension B of the cross section of the handle decreases progressively, along the longitudinal axis XX, from the connecting portions 220 and 222 to substantially the median plane 218 of the running portion of the handle 214. The small dimension B reaches a minimum substantially in the median plane 218.

Le rapport épaisseur maximale/épaisseur minimale est compris entre 1,15 et 1,25.The ratio maximum widening / maximum shrinkage of the wrenched key 310 is greater than 1 and less than or equal to 1.8. The ratio of maximum thickness to minimum thickness is between 1.15 and 1.25.

The change in the thickness of the flat key 210 and the wrenched key 310 follows the curvature of a polynomial curve whose minimum thickness is substantially centered on the median planes 218 and 318 corresponding to each of the keys 210 and 310 .

Thanks to the invention, the one-piece manual clamping tool is easier to use in confined spaces. In addition, the key retains good mechanical strength characteristics and is particularly ergonomic.
