Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de sécurité de câble d'acier (30) comprenant au moins un câble d'acier (10, 20) constitué d'au moins un toron (22), caractérisé par le fait que ledit ou lesdits câbles (10, 20) ou ledit ou lesdits torons sont compactés. En outre, la présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un système de sécurité de câble d'acier (30) comprenant l'étape consistant à réaliser au moins deux fils métalliques (24), l'étape consistant à toronner les fils métalliques, formant ainsi un toron d'un câble, et l'étape consistant à compacter le toron. La présente invention concerne également l'utilisation de câbles d'acier compactés en tant que matériau de réduction d'impact.
