Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Verfahren zur Herstellung von Holzfaserwerkstoffen sowie Holzfaserwerkstoffe aus Holzfasern, welche nach Plastifizierung von Holz gewonnen werden und die eine verringerte Emission an flüchtigen organischen Verbindungen (VOC), insbesondere aliphatische und aromatische Aldehyde, insbesondere Hexanal und Furfural aufweisen. Die Holzfaserwerkstoffen mit verringerter Emission an flüchtigen organischen Verbindungen (VOC), bei denen Holz zerkleinert, gereinigt, das so zerkleinerte Holz unter Druck und Temperatur plastifiziert und im Refiner zerfasert wird und anschließend die Holzfasern beleimt und verpresst werden, werden so hergestellt, dass das unzerkleinerte und/oder das zerkleinerte Holz mit einer Formulierung, die mindestens eine Verbindung zur Einstellung eines neutralen bis basischen pH-Wertes und mindestens einen Komplexbildner enthält, kontaktiert wird, wobei die Verbindungen zur Einstellung eines neutralen bis basischen pH-Wertes ausgewählt sind aus Alkali- und Erdalkalicarbonaten, Alkali- und Erdalkalibicarbonaten, -phosphaten, -dihydrogenphosphaten, -hydrogenphosphaten, -oxiden, - hydroxiden, und -silikaten und wobei die Komplexbildner ausgewählt sind aus mehrwertigen und polyfunktionellen Carbonsäuren, Aminomethylcarbonsäuren, Aminomethylphosphonsäuren und deren Verbindungen, EDTA, DTPA EGTA, EDDS und deren Salzen, Polyphenolen, Tanninen, Aminosäuren, Peptiden, Proteinen, Polycarboxylaten, Phosphaten, Polyphosphaten, Phosphonsäuren, Polyphosphonaten, phosphatierten, phosphonylierten, sulfatierten und sulfonierten Polymeren.The invention relates to processes for the production of wood fiber materials and wood fiber materials from wood fibers, which are obtained after plasticization of wood and which have a reduced emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC), in particular aliphatic and aromatic aldehydes, in particular hexanal and furfural.
