Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Strömungsarbeitsmaschine mit einem von einer Nabe (3) und einem Gehäuse (1) berandeten Hauptströmungspfad, in welchem mindestens eine Reihe von Schaufeln (5) angeordnet ist, welche ein Schaufelende mit Spalt bilden, wobei das Schaufelende und die Hauptströmungspfadberandung in der Nähe des Schaufelendes in einer rotierenden Relativbewegung zueinander bewegbar sind, wobei zumindest ein Teil des Laufspaltes (11) von der Hauptströmungspfadberandung in den Hauptströmungspfad radial verkleinert ausgebildet ist und der Laufspalt (11) an den verkleinerten Bereichen nicht mehr durch die Hauptströmungspfadberandung, sondern durch einen von der Hauptströmung durchströmten und mit der Hauptströmungspfadberandung fest verbundenen Randleitapparat (10), bestehend aus einer Reihe von Profilen (12), begrenzt wird.
