Description

The object of the present invention is to provide improvements to various models of trestle-type trestle-type trestle stands or supports, as described in US Pat. FR 2617944-A so as to simplify the deployment, make it automatic and catch up with lock games. This invention also makes it possible to assemble two independent trestles in a very safe and automatic manner.

The first improvement lies in the locking device of the joints that support the four feet and which fold inside the cross U which forms the horizontal part of the trestle. This arrangement makes it possible, during the deployment of the feet, to automatically lock the joints while catching the operating clearances when the joint reaches the stop when the feet are then deployed and creates an irreversible immobilization.

The second improvement lies in the shape, the offset of one relative to the other of the two joints for superimposing the folded feet inside the cross.

Another improvement relates to one of the two joints having a cut shape allowing the joint to rotate and come into locking abutment without performing specific welding.

Another improvement relates to the binding of the feet in the two joints which, thanks to the position of their axis of rotation, allows the two feet to be superimposed completely when they are folded; the set of two feet fits perfectly in the extension of the joint to obtain an ideal folded compactness.

Another improvement lies in the beveled shape of the upper end of the feet which, housed in the joint, provides a very solid stop without play when the feet are deployed and the bridge loaded.

Another improvement relates to the opening of these four feet which is made by a spring through the feet and is sized to retract completely into the feet when they fold and to avoid a thickening.

The last improvement relates to the fastening system of the two sleepers together side by side by means of the combination of two forms cooperating at one end of the sleepers and a nipple penetrating into the second cross at the other end; the whole being locked very safely by the use one of the two joint locks to which a hook has been added.

Les paires de pieds (4) (4') et (5) (5') pivotent autour des axes (9) (9') solidaires perpendiculairement aux articulations (2) (3).According to figure 1 , the bridge is composed of a crossbar (1), two joints (2) (3), two pairs of feet (4) (4 ') and (5) (5'). The two joints (2) (3) pivot about the axes of rotation (7) (7 ') perpendicular to the crossbar (1). The pairs of legs (4) (4 ') and (5) (5') pivot about the axes (9) (9 ') integral perpendicular to the joints (2) (3).

L'ensemble forme un profil rectangulaire et compactAccording to figure 2 , the joints (2) (3) and the feet (4) (4 ') and (5) (5') are completely retracted in the profile of the crossbar (1). The whole forms a rectangular and compact profile

The figures 2 and 3 also show the difference between the two joints (2) (3). To allow increased compactness and the superposition of the two pairs of legs (4) (4 ') and (5) (5'), one of the articulations, here the articulation (2), has its axis of rotation (7). ) offset from the horizontal plane formed by the junction of the two feet (4) (4 ') but remains aligned with the second axis of rotation (7') to ensure locking. For this, the wall of the joint (2) in contact with the latch (6) in the open state is at the same horizontal level as the same wall of the joint (3).

According to figures 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 , the user can deploy the hinge (3) by pressing on the pin (22) integral with the hinge (3). The two joints (2) (3) and the pairs of legs (4) (4 ') and (5) (5') pivot about the axes of rotation (7) (7 ') by their own weight and come into stop respectively on (17) (17 '). Locking is then performed by locks (6) (6 ') which were housed and immobilized under the joints (2) (3) in the folded position and which are released during the rotation of the joints (2) (3). This rotation of the latches (6) (6 ') around the axes (12) (12') is caused by the two springs (19) (19 ') which bear on the inner and upper side of the cross member (1). ) and push the two locks (6) (6 '). The bearing points (27) (27 ') of the bolts (6) (6') on the joints (2) (3) are aligned with the horizontal lines symbolized at their ends by the stops (17) (17 ' ) and the axes (12) (12 '). These alignments give the joints irreversible locking. To fold the hinge assemblies (2) (3) with their feet (4) (4 ') and (5) (5'), it is then necessary to press the latches (6) (6 ') at their respective ends. (24) (24 ') for pivoting these latches (6) (6') about their axes (12) (12 '). This then allows the release of the joints and their folding in the crossbar (1).

The figures 2 and 3 show that, to achieve the stop end of the stroke of the joint (2), a cutout (16) is cut with the center of rotation, the axis of rotation (7). The end of this cutout (16) comes to rest on the stop (17) in the unfolded position.

According to Figures 5 and 6 , the deployment of the feet (4) (4 ') and (5) (5') is around the axes (9) (9 ') integral with the joints (2) (3). When the joints (2) (3) unfold outside the crossbar (1), the feet (4) (4 ') (5) (5') are deployed by pivoting about the axes (9) (9 ') under the action of the springs (8) (8 '). The final position is obtained by the upper ends (25) (25 ') beveled feet (4) (4') and (5) (5 ') are supported on the inner wall of the joints (2) (3) . During folding, the springs (8) (8 ') retract completely into the feet (4) (4') and (5) (5 ') making it possible to obtain a superposition of the latter which then form a section ( 20) falling within the section (21) defined by the articulations (2) (3). This provides a compactness for folding the joints (2) (3) and the feet (4) (4 ') and (5) (5') in the profile of the crossbar (1).

The figure 7 shows the sleepers (1) (1 ') assembled side by side.

The figures 8 , 9 10 and 11 describe the ends of the sleepers (1) (1 '). To achieve the assembly, the user inserts the cutout (15) of the crossbar (1 ') in the channel (14) of the crossbar (1). After having assembled in this way these two ends of the crosspieces (1) (1 ') and after lifting the hook (11) of the latch (6'), the user locks the other two ends of said crosspieces (1) (1). ') by engaging the stud (13) of the axle (12') of the latch (6 ') of the crossbar (1) in a housing (18) of the crossbar (1).

According to figures 2 , 10 and 11 , the latch (6 ') is raised so that the hook (11) connected to this latch does not interfere with the two cross members (1) (1'). When they come into contact, the latch (6 ') is released and pushed by the spring (19') which will cause the hook (11), will immobilize the two sleepers preventing the stud (13) out of the housing (18) . The pair of sleepers thus becomes solidary.

The figures 1 , 7 , 12 and 13 allow to show the automatic release system of the joints (2) (3). A stud (22) integral with a spring (26) and sliding in the articulation (3) comes into a cutout (23) of the crossbar (1). To release the feet, the user maintains the horizontal cross member open side to the ground and then presses on the pin (22) which sinks into the joint (3) and allows the latter to rotate around the axis of rotation (7 ') by gravity.

A pair of folding trestles according to claim 1, characterised in that the upper ends (25) (25') of the legs (4) (4') and (5) (5') are bevelled in shape so as to obtain a larger support surface for the legs against the inside walls of the articulations (2) (3) in the unfolded position, while keeping the folded position compact.
