Definitions
- the invention relates to a ski binding with at least one adjustable binding component and an actuating device for adjusting or locking or unlocking this binding component.
- the adjustable binding component may, in particular, be a brine-holding assembly, a pressing or releasing member for setting a pressing or releasing force, a pivoting or touring plate or a support arrangement for facilitating climbing during touring.
- the invention also relates to a ski pole with a tip which is shaped for a positive coupling with the actuating device.
- a suitable for coupling and attachment to a ski pole shaped adapter tip is also the subject of the invention and also a system of a ski binding according to the invention and a ski pole or an adapter tip according to the invention.
- the invention is particularly directed to touring bindings and bindings for freeriders, but also advantageous for bindings which are at least substantially used only when riding down paved runways.
- the heel end of the swing or touring plate must first be placed on the ski top, then the slide must be advanced with the ski pole, then the Pivoting or touring plate to be moved rearward in elevation of the toe-side plate end in the ski longitudinal direction to insert the heel end of the pivot or touring plate in the mouth of the locking hook.
- the front end of the swivel or touring plate must be raised, the ski is inevitably relieved, so that it moves with the forward or backward displacement of the swivel or touring plate with high probability on the ground and the locking or unlocking the swivel or touring plate necessary displacement of this plate in the longitudinal direction difficult.
- the operation of the slider is difficult and requires skill, not least because of the long lever formed by the ski pole.
- From the DE 31 31 384 C2 is an operable with ski pole support assembly with which the pivot or touring plate of a touring ski binding can be supported in a swung-up position. If the pivot or touring plate is lifted with its heel end by a corresponding movement of the skier's foot from the ski top, a climbing aid can be pivoted with the ski pole in an upwardly directed support position, so that the free end of the climbing aid when pivoting down Heelsitigen end of the pivoting or touring plate abuts against this plate and prevents further pivoting of the plate in the direction of Skioberseite.
- an adjustable in relation to at least one binding function ski binding for the operation namely the adjustment with respect to this function
- an actuating member which is rotatable about an at least substantially orthogonal to the surface of the ski axis of rotation, ie a vertical axis, and on a Upper side has a coupling half for a clutch engagement with a ski pole or a comparable climbing aid, wherein the coupling half of the actuating member is shaped so that in the clutch engagement required for the rotational adjustment torque can be transferred by positive engagement.
- the coupling half therefore deviates from the circular shape in a cross-section that is orthogonal to the vertical axis in a coupling engagement that transmits torque. It is shaped so that the skier in buckled ski bring the coupling half formed by the ski pole tip by a pointing at least substantially orthogonal to the surface of the ski clutch movement in the clutch engagement and then turn the actuator simply by rotating the ski pole about the longitudinal axis and thereby at least one adjustable binding component or can adjust the binding as a whole.
- the actuator is part of an actuating device which is coupled in a suitable manner for the adjustment with the adjustable binding component, in the following adjustment component.
- the adjustment component can be part of the bond, but the bond can also form the adjustment component in its entirety.
- adjusting components are: a ten-sided sole-holder unit, a heel-side sole-holder unit, a pivoting or touring plate, a support arrangement for a heel-side area of a pivoting or touring plate or directly a ski boot, a pressure member for producing a ski boot between the sole-holder units Spring force or a trigger member for generating a spring force against which the heel-side sole holder unit must be triggered from a closed position, the bond should be opened.
- the adjustment component is also a width adjustment member, which is counted for binding, since a width adjustment device, whose component is such a width adjustment member, cooperates closely with the binding.
- the actuator is disposed outside of a gap remaining between the sole holder assemblies. It can be arranged behind the heel-side sole holder unit, but in such a way that, despite the body rotation of the skier required with such an arrangement, it is still possible to reach it safely and comfortably with the ski pole tip.
- the actuator can also be arranged on one of the sole holder units, preferably on the toe-side sole holder unit. It is particularly preferred that it is arranged in front of the ten-sided sole holder unit, expediently at a small distance, so that the coupling path to the adjustment component is as short as possible, but the coupling half is accessible from above, without hindrance by the ten-sided sole holder unit, for an upright skier to engage the clutch to make with the ski pole.
- the coupling half is preferably centric to the axis of rotation of the actuating member, so that only a rotary movement and no pivoting movement has to be carried out with the ski pole, since lever effects are advantageously avoided.
- the actuator in particular its coupling half, is advantageously arranged and shaped so that at least substantially torsional forces act on the ski pole during its operation.
- the actuator in a development for a rotationally adjustable in the manner explained and be additionally slidable to be able to act by rotational adjustment of the actuator to a first Verstellkomponente and by shifting to another, second Verstellkomponente. In preferred simple embodiments, however, the actuator is exclusively rotationally adjustable. An effect on different adjustment components can be effected for example via the rotation angle of the adjustment.
- a first adjustment component can be made by rotation of the actuating member about a first angle of rotation and then a second adjustment component by further rotation about a second angle of rotation.
- the binding may also have a further actuator of the disclosed type in order to be able to adjust with the one actuator a first adjustment component and with the other actuator another, second adjustment component.
- the coupling half of the actuator tapers at its upper side along the axis of rotation in the direction of a coupling contour or upwards to the Kupplungsadelhsch, the ski pole, in the attempt to establish the clutch engagement to center.
- the coupling half of the actuator can form the plug or, more preferably, the socket, sleeve or the like.
- the coupling half thus tapers in the insertion direction of the ski pole tip. If the actuator within the clutch meets the plug function, the coupling half would taper correspondingly upwards.
- the coupling half of the actuating member has a coupling contour extending around the axis of rotation of the actuating member. Although it would be sufficient in principle for coupling, when the coupling contour over a rotational angle range of more than 180 °, but less than 360 °, extends around the axis of rotation, it is not least preferred for the strength of the coupling half of the actuator when the coupling contour to the Full rotation, ie 360 ° rotates.
- the coupling contour and thus the coupling half formed by the actuator is preferably a multiple with at most five flat sides and the flat sides interconnecting round edges, wherein the varying about the axis of rotation of the actuating member radius of curvature of the coupling contour preferably anywhere at least 1 millimeter, more preferably anywhere at least 2 millimeters, is.
- no sharp edges are present anyway.
- the coupling contour for example, have a flat side and otherwise circular, so be a flat. As a whole, it can also form an oval, for example a true ellipse, ie a two-faceted one.
- a particularly preferred coupling contour is shaped as a tri-fold, so on the whole triangular. Such a shape combines the advantages of easy manufacturability of the clutch engagement and the safe transmission of the required torque in an optimal manner.
- the binding comprises a locking device for locking the adjusting component in a locking position.
- the locking device can serve in particular for locking the pivoting or touring plate, if one is present. As an alternative, it can also serve, for example, for locking ski halves of a width-adjustable ski which can be adjusted relative to one another.
- a locking device can also serve to lock the ten-sided sole holder assembly, the heel-side sole holder assembly or both sole holder units together, if at least one of the sole holder units is adjustable. Such an optional locking device is also understood as an adjustment component in the sense of the invention.
- the actuator or the actuator, of which it is part, can therefore be coupled with such a locking device to allow by their actuation an adjustment of another adjustment in the first place or to lock this other adjustment after adjustment in the new position.
- the word “or” is always used by the invention in the usual logical sense as “inclusive or”, thus includes the meaning “either .... or” and also the meaning of "and”, as far as the respective concrete context only one of these two meanings can result.
- the locking device this means that the actuating device may be coupled in first embodiments exclusively with the locking device, if one is present in second embodiments having a locking device with only one or more other Verstellkomponente (s), but not with the locking device can be coupled.
- the actuating device can both with a locking device be coupled with another adjustment component to operate by the rotational adjustment of the actuator, the locking device and to act by a further rotational adjustment of the actuator to the other adjustment component.
- an actuating device coupled to the locking device and a support arrangement is provided with an actuating member preferably arranged on a bearing body of the binding in front of the pivot axis.
- an actuating member preferably arranged on a bearing body of the binding in front of the pivot axis.
- Such embodiments are based on the idea to provide for the locking device and the support assembly remote from a readily accessible position arranged common actuator, so that the bond can be adjusted at any time in a comfortable manner for different conditions of use.
- a thumbwheel or the like actuating member which can be positively coupled to its rotational adjustment with a ski pole
- such a bond is also for itself, with ander motivationm actuator, advantage.
- the invention thus also relates to a ski binding with a shoe holder assembly bearing pivoting or touring plate, which is hinged with its toe end about a transverse axis pivotally mounted on a relatively stationary bearing body, a locking device, the pivot or touring plate in a down-pivoted End position allows to lock, and a support assembly that allows to support the heel end of the pivoting or touring plate in at least one swung-up position.
- the binding is characterized by the fact that an actuating device coupled to the locking device and the support arrangement is provided with an actuating member arranged in front of the transverse axis and preferably on the bearing body.
- a locking element arranged on a relatively stationary bearing part for example a locking slide or a pivotable locking lever
- the actuating member which is provided with one or more Counter locking element (s) cooperates on the adjustment component.
- the locking member on a relatively stationary part that is arranged on the ski side
- the driving connection between locking member and actuator or operating wheel can be formed in a structurally simple manner.
- a bolt slide can be displaceable parallel to the plane of a bearing plate, in particular in the ski longitudinal direction.
- a locking lever can be pivotable about a vertical axis of the ski or preferably at least substantially parallel to the ski surface.
- a pivotally mounted on a relatively stationary bearing part support is coupled to the actuator, which is pivotally adjustable from a non-use position in at least one support effective position below the heel end of the pivoting or touring plate or directly the ski boot.
- a heel-side locking member preferably a bolt slide
- a relatively stationary bearing plate of a non-use position in at least one support position swiveling, with at least one counter-locking element in the heel area of the swivel or Touring plate interacts.
- a toe-side locking member in addition to a heel-side locking member on the bearing body, a toe-side locking member, in particular a bolt slide or locking lever, cooperate with one or more toe-side counter-locking element (s) on the pivoting or touring plate.
- a toe-side and a heel-side locking member can be achieved that the pivoting or touring plate is locked particularly stable both in the region of a arranged on the pivoting or touring plate toe shoe holder assembly as well as in the heel-side shoe holder assembly.
- this offers the possibility of forming the pivoting or touring plate with a particularly low weight and thus possibly reduced rigidity and, on the other hand, to ensure good power transmission between the ski boot and the ski.
- the respective locking member cooperates with the pivoting or touring plate vertically locking counter locking elements in front of and behind the respective sole or shoe holder.
- width adjustable ski this is divided longitudinally in a left ski half and a right ski half. At least one of the ski halves is movable relative to the sole holder units and the other of the ski halves transversely to the longitudinal direction.
- the actuating device is coupled to a width adjustment element located in an adjusting engagement with at least one of the ski halves, so that the ski halves are moved away from one another and toward one another by rotational adjustment of the actuating element in adjusting engagement with the width adjustment element.
- a ski binding according to the invention of a first embodiment has a front bearing plate 2 fixedly arranged on the upper side of a ski 1 which is only partially shown, with lateral bearing blocks 3 arranged thereon, on which a pivoting or touring plate 4 is articulated pivotably about a ski axis.
- the pivoting or touring plate 4 consists essentially of a toe-side plate member 5 with a fixed thereto (optionally adjustable) toe sole holder assembly 6 and a heel-side plate member 7 with an arranged (adjustable) heel-side sole holder unit 8, wherein the plate members 5 and 7, for example are connected to each other by two parallel longitudinal struts 9 like a frame.
- the sole holder assemblies 6 and 8 are adjustable so that they allow the end portions of the sole of a ski boot in a basically known manner releasably support, or automatically lock the shoe or its sole when entering the binding.
- an actuator 10 which has an actuator as a turntable 11 which rotatably coupled by positive engagement with the tip of a ski pole 12 or arranged on the ski tip adapter, that is, upon rotation of the ski pole 12 about its axis, the turntable 11 is rotated accordingly.
- the turntable 11 may have a funnel-like upwardly open, in cross-section non-circular opening into which the corresponding non-circular tip of the ski pole 12 and the arranged on its tip adapter can be easily inserted into the dome-effective end position.
- the turntable 11 is drivingly coupled via flexible pulling and pushing elements 13 and 14, which may be formed, for example, as relatively rigid wires, on the one hand with a latch plate 16 and on the other hand with a climbing aid 15.
- the turntable 11 can form a crank drive with the pulling and pushing elements 13 and 14, with the elements 13 and 14 each as a connecting rod, alternatively, the elements 13 and 14 also at a common or each own crank rod of a crank drive 11 formed with the turntable be articulated. Examples of a crank mechanism will be explained below. Alternative embodiments for the turntable 11 are also explained below, for example, a turntable 11 for a gear drive or a cam drive. Such embodiments are feasible for the turntable 11. In this regard, reference is made to the other embodiments.
- the climbing aid 15 is designed as a U-bracket, which is arranged in bearing eyes on a bearing plate 17 pivotable about a Skiquerachse.
- the bearing plate 17 serves as a sliding guide of the locking plate 16, which is held relative to the bearing plate 17 in the longitudinal direction displaceable and immovable in the vertical direction of the ski 1 of the bearing plate 17.
- the bearing plate 17 has arranged on its underside facing the top of the ski 1 feet 18, which serve on the one hand for mounting the bearing plate 17 on the ski 1 and on the other hand vertically arranged in the latch plate 16 arranged slot-like recesses, so that the latch plate 16 vertically between the top of the ski 1 and bottom of the bearing plate 17 is immovably held, but remains displaceable in the ski longitudinal direction.
- On the latch plate 16 are arranged laterally outwardly projecting locking bars 19 which can be positively inserted in the longitudinal direction in corresponding counter-locking grooves on the underside of the heel-side plate member 7, so that the plate member 7 and the swivel or
- Touring plate 4 on the top of the ski 1 in the off Fig. 2 apparent departure position in which the pivoting or touring plate 4 rests on the top of the ski 1, are held. If the locking plate 16 is displaced out of the locking position in the longitudinal direction of the ski, the locking bars 19 emerge from the counter locking grooves on the underside of the heel-side plate part 7, so that the plate part 7 and the pivoting or touring plate 4 according to FIG Fig. 1 can be lifted off the top of the ski 1, as it is desired when touring.
- To move the locking plate 16 of the turntable 11 of the actuator 10 is connected to one of the pulling or pushing elements 13 and 14 with the latch plate 16, so that the locking plate 16 at rotational adjustment of the turntable 11 in one direction relative to the ski 1 in the reverse direction and is moved in the other direction relative to the ski 1 in the forward direction when the turntable 11 in the other direction.
- the ski binding according to the invention can thus be used as follows: First, let the swivel or touring plate 4, the in Fig. 2 take shown departure position and be locked by means of the latch plate 16. Now the ski pole 12 can be inserted with its tip in the funnel-shaped upwardly widening opening of the turntable 11. Once the ski pole 12 reaches its retracted end position, the ski pole 12 and the turntable 11 are rotatably coupled together. By rotation of the ski pole 12, the locking plate 16 is now moved backwards in the ski longitudinal direction, so that the locking bars 19 emerge from the Gegenriegelnuten on the underside of the heel-side plate member 7 and the pivoting or touring plate 4 with her heels side End of the top of the ski 1 can be lifted. For example, this state is suitable for touring in levels.
- a support of the pivoting or touring plate 4 in a heel side lifted from the top of the ski 1 position is desired.
- the pivoting or touring plate 4 is raised on the heel side with the ski boot, for example in the in Fig. 1 shown location.
- the climbing aid 15 by rotation of the ski pole 12 in one of the use of layers according to the Fig. 3 and 4 be placed so that when pivoting the pivoting or touring plate 4 in the direction of the top of the ski 1, one of the grooves 7a and 7b, the free end of the climbing aid 15 like a hinge and receives the pivot or touring plate in a corresponding oblique position relative to the top of the Skis 1 is supported resiliently.
- the pivoting or touring plate 4 is swung up slightly with the ski boot, so that the free end of the climbing aid 15 is released from the groove 7a or 7b. Now the climbing aid 15 is folded down by appropriate rotation of the turntable 11 on the bearing plate 17. This allows the swivel or touring plate 4 hang up again on the top of the ski 1. If the ski 1 is now to be used for downhill skiing, the latch plate 16 is brought by appropriate rotation of the turntable 11 with its bar webs 19 into engagement with the Gegenriegelnuten on the underside of the heel-side plate member 7, so that the swivel or touring plate 4 again is locked resting on the top of the ski 1.
- FIGS. 7 to 10 show a ski binding a simplified second embodiment.
- the binding is also a touring binding or at least suitable for freeriders.
- the pivot or touring plate is omitted.
- the ten-side sole-holding unit 6 may correspond to the sole-holding unit 6 of the first embodiment. It is pivotable in particular about a parallel to the surface of the ski transverse axis Y.
- the heel-side sole holder unit 8 is not pivotable as a whole and in this respect a sole holder unit comparable only for slope slopes. It is only movable insofar as this is necessary for closing and opening the binding and optionally for adapting to different ski boots 26.
- the binding has a support 15, which is a parallel to the transverse axis Y pivot axis 25 of the in FIG. 7
- Adopted non-use position adjustable in different positions of use, namely about the pivot axis 25 pivotally is.
- the exemplary two different positions of use are in the FIGS. 9 and 10 shown.

- the coupling member 23 is pivotally connected to the climbing aid 15, for example by means of a sliding joint, which is formed by a rigidly connected to the coupling member 23, the joint member 24 and a counter-joint element of the climbing aid 15.
- the hinge element 24 forms a guide 26 of the sliding joint, which runs by way of example at least substantially orthogonally to the surface of the ski and is straight.
- the climbing aid 15 forms in relation to the Pivot axis 25 a double arm with a support arm on which the ski boot is supported in the pivot joint at 25, and on the other side of the pivot joint extended lever arm on which the sliding in the sliding joint along the guide 26 engaging member 27 is arranged.
- the binding is closed to hold the ski boot 26 between the sole holder assemblies 6 and 8 firmly on the ski.
- the holding engagement of the heel-side sole holder unit 8 is released, for example by operating the sole holder unit 8 by means of the ski pole, so that the heel region of the ski boot 26 is released and the ski boot 28 can continue to pivot in engagement with the ten-sided sole holder unit 6 about its transverse axis Y, as this from the sequence of FIGS. 7 to 10 is recognizable.
- FIG. 8 shows the sole of the ski boot 26 in the first phase of the pivoting movement during which the climbing aid 15 assumes its non-use position.
- the climbing aid 15 by means of the actuator 11 in the in FIG. 9 pivoted first use position pivoted so that a remote from the free end of the climbing aid 15, approximately middle support 15a of the climbing aid 15 enters the area below the shoe sole.
- the actuating member 11 is rotated about its axis of rotation Z, so that the coupling member 23 is moved via the crank mechanism 20-22 in the direction of the heel-side sole holder unit 8.
- the engagement member 27 of the climbing aid 15 in the sliding joint 26, 27 is moved rearwardly, so that the climbing aid 15 pivots about its pivot axis 25 in the first use position.
- the climbing aid 15 by further rotation of the actuator 11 a little further into the in FIG. 10 shown second position of use are pivoted in which it supports the shoe sole with its free end.
- the climbing aid 15 may be locked in the non-use position and the use positions in each case by a releasable latching connection.
- This connection can be realized between the climbing aid 15 and the binding or possibly another fixed structure with the ski or as a latching connection between the actuating member 11 and a bearing body of the actuating member 11, not shown in the figures.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a ski binding with at least one adjustable binding component and an actuating device for adjusting or locking or unlocking this binding component. The adjustable binding component may, in particular, be a brine-holding assembly, a pressing or releasing member for setting a pressing or releasing force, a pivoting or touring plate or a support arrangement for facilitating climbing during touring. The invention also relates to a ski pole with a tip which is shaped for a positive coupling with the actuating device. A suitable for coupling and attachment to a ski pole shaped adapter tip is also the subject of the invention and also a system of a ski binding according to the invention and a ski pole or an adapter tip according to the invention. The invention is particularly directed to touring bindings and bindings for freeriders, but also advantageous for bindings which are at least substantially used only when riding down paved runways.
The handling in particular of touring ski bindings is usually comparatively cumbersome. In general, locking members arranged behind the heel end of the pivot plate must be operated to lock or unlock the pivot plate either on the ski upper side to pivot the pivot plate and the heel off the ski to be able to take off. Also, the handling of the support assembly is often so cumbersome that the skier has to temporarily get out of the ski binding.

While touring ski bindings used to be mounted only on special touring skis, which were practically only used by "serious" touring skiers in high alpine terrain, today skiing is increasingly practiced by "freeriders", for whom the fun of skiing away from standard pistes is in the foreground. This group of people wishes comfortable, multifunctional binding systems which, on the one hand, allow particularly good control and control of the skis on downhill and off-piste slopes and in deep snow and, on the other hand, are also comfortable on tours.
It is an object of the invention to allow a particularly comfortable operation of a ski binding.
According to the invention, an adjustable in relation to at least one binding function ski binding for the operation, namely the adjustment with respect to this function, an actuating member which is rotatable about an at least substantially orthogonal to the surface of the ski axis of rotation, ie a vertical axis, and on a Upper side has a coupling half for a clutch engagement with a ski pole or a comparable climbing aid, wherein the coupling half of the actuating member is shaped so that in the clutch engagement required for the rotational adjustment torque can be transferred by positive engagement. When talking about a ski pole or a ski pole top, sticklike other climbing aids and their tips should always be included. The coupling half therefore deviates from the circular shape in a cross-section that is orthogonal to the vertical axis in a coupling engagement that transmits torque. The actuator is part of an actuating device which is coupled in a suitable manner for the adjustment with the adjustable binding component, in the following adjustment component. The adjustment component can be part of the bond, but the bond can also form the adjustment component in its entirety.
Particularly suitable as adjusting components are: a ten-sided sole-holder unit, a heel-side sole-holder unit, a pivoting or touring plate, a support arrangement for a heel-side area of a pivoting or touring plate or directly a ski boot, a pressure member for producing a ski boot between the sole-holder units Spring force or a trigger member for generating a spring force against which the heel-side sole holder unit must be triggered from a closed position, the bond should be opened. If the ski has the function of a width adjustment, it can the adjustment component is also a width adjustment member, which is counted for binding, since a width adjustment device, whose component is such a width adjustment member, cooperates closely with the binding. Much of the aforementioned adjustment components is so far only with abgeschnalltem ski and also adjustable only with special tools, such as the position of a ten-sided or heel-side sole holder unit, for example, to adapt to different ski boots. The same applies to the adjustment of the spring force of a pressure spring or the tripping or closing force of a release spring. Other functions, for example a common adjustment of both sole holder units or a width adjustment of the ski, are already advantageous as such, even without the actuating device according to the invention. The binding claimed here, however, can be quickly and conveniently adjusted or operated in other respects with respect to at least one function of the skier with buckled ski.
The actuator is disposed outside of a gap remaining between the sole holder assemblies. It can be arranged behind the heel-side sole holder unit, but in such a way that, despite the body rotation of the skier required with such an arrangement, it is still possible to reach it safely and comfortably with the ski pole tip. The actuator can also be arranged on one of the sole holder units, preferably on the toe-side sole holder unit.
The coupling half is preferably centric to the axis of rotation of the actuating member, so that only a rotary movement and no pivoting movement has to be carried out with the ski pole, since lever effects are advantageously avoided. The actuator, in particular its coupling half, is advantageously arranged and shaped so that at least substantially torsional forces act on the ski pole during its operation. On the other hand, the actuator in a development for a rotationally adjustable in the manner explained and be additionally slidable to be able to act by rotational adjustment of the actuator to a first Verstellkomponente and by shifting to another, second Verstellkomponente. In preferred simple embodiments, however, the actuator is exclusively rotationally adjustable. An effect on different adjustment components can be effected for example via the rotation angle of the adjustment. Thus, a first adjustment component can be made by rotation of the actuating member about a first angle of rotation and then a second adjustment component by further rotation about a second angle of rotation. The binding may also have a further actuator of the disclosed type in order to be able to adjust with the one actuator a first adjustment component and with the other actuator another, second adjustment component.
In order to facilitate the manufacture of the clutch engagement, it is advantageous if the coupling half of the actuator tapers at its upper side along the axis of rotation in the direction of a coupling contour or upwards to the Kupplungsgegenhälfte, the ski pole, in the attempt to establish the clutch engagement to center. Within the coupling half and half coupling, the coupling half of the actuator can form the plug or, more preferably, the socket, sleeve or the like. In embodiments in which the actuator takes over the socket function within the coupling, the coupling half thus tapers in the insertion direction of the ski pole tip. If the actuator within the clutch meets the plug function, the coupling half would taper correspondingly upwards.
The coupling half of the actuating member has a coupling contour extending around the axis of rotation of the actuating member. The coupling contour and thus the coupling half formed by the actuator is preferably a multiple with at most five flat sides and the flat sides interconnecting round edges, wherein the varying about the axis of rotation of the actuating member radius of curvature of the coupling contour preferably anywhere at least 1 millimeter, more preferably anywhere at least 2 millimeters, is. Advantageously, no sharp edges are present anyway. This also facilitates the production of the clutch engagement. The coupling contour, for example, have a flat side and otherwise circular, so be a flat. As a whole, it can also form an oval, for example a true ellipse, ie a two-faceted one. A particularly preferred coupling contour is shaped as a tri-fold, so on the whole triangular. Such a shape combines the advantages of easy manufacturability of the clutch engagement and the safe transmission of the required torque in an optimal manner.
In preferred embodiments, the binding comprises a locking device for locking the adjusting component in a locking position. The locking device can serve in particular for locking the pivoting or touring plate, if one is present. As an alternative, it can also serve, for example, for locking ski halves of a width-adjustable ski which can be adjusted relative to one another. A locking device can also serve to lock the ten-sided sole holder assembly, the heel-side sole holder assembly or both sole holder units together, if at least one of the sole holder units is adjustable. Such an optional locking device is also understood as an adjustment component in the sense of the invention. The actuator or the actuator, of which it is part, can therefore be coupled with such a locking device to allow by their actuation an adjustment of another adjustment in the first place or to lock this other adjustment after adjustment in the new position. The word "or" is always used by the invention in the usual logical sense as "inclusive or", thus includes the meaning "either .... or" and also the meaning of "and", as far as the respective concrete context only one of these two meanings can result. With respect to, for example, the locking device, this means that the actuating device may be coupled in first embodiments exclusively with the locking device, if one is present in second embodiments having a locking device with only one or more other Verstellkomponente (s), but not with the locking device can be coupled. In third embodiments, the actuating device can both with a locking device be coupled with another adjustment component to operate by the rotational adjustment of the actuator, the locking device and to act by a further rotational adjustment of the actuator to the other adjustment component.
In preferred embodiments with a pivoting or touring plate, an actuating device coupled to the locking device and a support arrangement is provided with an actuating member preferably arranged on a bearing body of the binding in front of the pivot axis. Such embodiments are based on the idea to provide for the locking device and the support assembly remote from a readily accessible position arranged common actuator, so that the bond can be adjusted at any time in a comfortable manner for different conditions of use. Also for such a binding is designed as a thumbwheel or the like actuating member, which can be positively coupled to its rotational adjustment with a ski pole, preferred, such a bond is also for itself, with anderartigem actuator, advantage. When drehverstellbarem actuator as stated on the tip of the ski pole to a non-circular receiving opening of the thumbwheel complementary adapter part may be arranged or a ski pole with appropriately trained tip used as a rotary handle.
The invention thus also relates to a ski binding with a shoe holder assembly bearing pivoting or touring plate, which is hinged with its toe end about a transverse axis pivotally mounted on a relatively stationary bearing body, a locking device, the pivot or touring plate in a down-pivoted End position allows to lock, and a support assembly that allows to support the heel end of the pivoting or touring plate in at least one swung-up position. The binding is characterized by the fact that an actuating device coupled to the locking device and the support arrangement is provided with an actuating member arranged in front of the transverse axis and preferably on the bearing body.
Betätigungsrad in konstruktiv einfacher Weise ausbilden. Incidentally, it is expediently provided that a locking element arranged on a relatively stationary bearing part, for example a locking slide or a pivotable locking lever, is coupled to the actuating member, which is provided with one or more Counter locking element (s) cooperates on the adjustment component. Since the locking member on a relatively stationary part, that is arranged on the ski side, the driving connection between locking member and actuator or operating wheel can be formed in a structurally simple manner. A bolt slide can be displaceable parallel to the plane of a bearing plate, in particular in the ski longitudinal direction. A locking lever can be pivotable about a vertical axis of the ski or preferably at least substantially parallel to the ski surface.
In addition, it can be expediently provided that a pivotally mounted on a relatively stationary bearing part support is coupled to the actuator, which is pivotally adjustable from a non-use position in at least one support effective position below the heel end of the pivoting or touring plate or directly the ski boot. Again, a simple construction for the drive connection between the pivot support and actuator or setting wheel is made possible by the ski-side mounting of the swivel support.
Tourenplatte zusammenwirkt. In structurally particularly expedient embodiment of the invention can be provided that a heel-side locking member, preferably a bolt slide, is arranged on a relatively stationary bearing plate of a non-use position in at least one support position swiveling, with at least one counter-locking element in the heel area of the swivel or Touring plate interacts.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment, in addition to a heel-side locking member on the bearing body, a toe-side locking member, in particular a bolt slide or locking lever, cooperate with one or more toe-side counter-locking element (s) on the pivoting or touring plate. By arranging a toe-side and a heel-side locking member can be achieved that the pivoting or touring plate is locked particularly stable both in the region of a arranged on the pivoting or touring plate toe shoe holder assembly as well as in the heel-side shoe holder assembly. On the one hand, this offers the possibility of forming the pivoting or touring plate with a particularly low weight and thus possibly reduced rigidity and, on the other hand, to ensure good power transmission between the ski boot and the ski.
Schuhhalter zusammenwirkt. In this context, it is further advantageous if the respective locking member cooperates with the pivoting or touring plate vertically locking counter locking elements in front of and behind the respective sole or shoe holder.
In versions with width adjustable ski this is divided longitudinally in a left ski half and a right ski half. At least one of the ski halves is movable relative to the sole holder units and the other of the ski halves transversely to the longitudinal direction. The actuating device is coupled to a width adjustment element located in an adjusting engagement with at least one of the ski halves, so that the ski halves are moved away from one another and toward one another by rotational adjustment of the actuating element in adjusting engagement with the width adjustment element.

Immediately in front of the toe-
The
The climbing

Drechachse Z hin und her drehverstellbar. The climbing

The climbing

The locking device comprises a left locking

The

For the adjustment of the shoe holder assembly as a unit of the joined bearing body 46-47 is coupled to a pivotable about the vertical
The
To the
In the fourth embodiment, only the
The binding of the fifth embodiment has the ability by actuation of the
The
The
The
The width adjustment is again made with a about the vertical axis
Upon a rotational movement of the actuating
The
