Definitions
- the invention relates to a trash can closure with a arranged in a lock housing case, with a catch hook having a counter-closing part and with a lock housing in the pivoting of the lock housing from a closed position about an opening pivot axis in an opening pivoting direction in an open position according to gravity from a normal position to a displaced position linearly displacing opening slide, which is coupled to the case such that the latter assumes a locking position with the catch hook in the basic position of the opening slide and a release position in the displaced position of the opening slide.
- a generic garbage can lock is from the EP 0 509 932 B1 previously known.
- the locking device described therein has a pivotally arranged in a housing case.
- the case forms a locking hook, which cooperates with a catch hook of a counter-closing part.
- the lock housing may be attached to a container part of a dumpster.
- the catch hook is assigned to the lid.
- the lock housing In a normal position of the container, the lock housing assumes a closed position. In this closed position, the case is in a locking position with the counter-closing part.
- the lid of the container can only be opened by pressing a lock.
- Inside the lock housing there is an opening slide. This opening slide is designed as a weight part and can be moved from a basic position to a displaced position.
- the slider In the closed position of the housing, the slider assumes its basic position. The direction of displacement is in the closed position upwards directed. So that the lid of the container opens automatically when tilted to empty the container, the opening slide is motion-coupled with the case. A displacement of the opening slide from the open position to a displaced position leads to a displacement of the case from a locking position to a release position. In the release position, the latch is out of engagement with the catch hook, so that the lid can open. The displacement of the opening slide from the basic position to the displaced position takes place automatically when the container is tilted overhead.
- a locking device for the lid of a garbage container in which instead of an opening slide a pivotable weight part is provided which cooperates with a trap such that when an overhead emptying the case is moved from a locking position to a release position.
- a locking device is also provided by means of which the case is fixed in its locking position when the container is not in its tilted position for emptying overhead.
- the locking device is formed there by a rolling body, which is located in a vertically extending chamber of the housing and which lies in the pivoting range of the weight part.
- WO2005 / 1113 A1 is a trash can closure previously known in which an opening pivoting lever pivots when tilting a housing from a basic position to a displaced position and in which trained as a ball misoperational locking element can only plunge into a machined in the lock back groove and thus allows the displacement of the opening slide in the open position when the housing is pivoted about the opening pivot axis in the opening pivoting direction. If, however, the housing is about a different pivot axis than about the opening pivot axis or pivoted in a different pivoting direction than in the opening pivoting about the opening pivot axis, the ball occurs in front of a locking stage of the lock front wall.
- the invention has for its object to further develop a generic Mülltonnenver gleich use advantage.
- the invention relates to a garbage can closure with a mishandling locking element.
- the incorrect operation locking element is designed as a pivotable about a bearing axis pawl.
- the mishandling locking element ensures that a displacement of the opening slide from the basic position to the displaced position is always locked when the housing is pivoted in a pivoting direction other than in the opening pivoting about the opening pivot axis.
- the case is only moved from its locking position to the release position when the lock housing or the container equipped with the lock housing is pivoted in the direction prescribed, namely in the overhead emptying direction.
- the latch can be one-armed.
- the latch can also be two-armed.
- two pawls are provided, wherein a first pawl is pivotable about a relative to the basic position horizontal pivot axis and facing upward.
- a second pawl can be pivoted relative to the basic position about a vertical axis. This latch can be a two-armed latch.
- the pawls are preferably in recesses of the opening slide.
- the recesses are open to a broad side surface of the opening slide. From this opening, the arms of the pawls can swing out when the housing is not pivoted in the proper opening direction about the opening pivot axis.
- Each arm is assigned a barrier bar, which protrudes inwardly from a housing wall. Against this barrier web the pivoted into the blocking position pawl occurs, so that a shear displacement of the opening slide is locked from the basic position to the shifted position.
- a development of the generic garbage can closure which has independent significance, provides that the opening slide forms a substantially S-shaped cam groove. This control groove is formed by a slot, the two end portions substantially parallel to the direction of the opening slide.
- the trap is designed with two arms. It is pivotable about a housing-fixed pivot axis. It forms a trap head, which carries a locking pin, which cooperates with the fishing hook.
- the catch hook can be pivoted from the outside by pressing a lock or the like, so that the lid can be opened even in the locked position of the case.
- the tentacle can also be pivoted from the inside to bring the catch hook out of engagement with the case in the locked position.
- the pivot axis of the one-armed pawl which faces upward in the basic position, runs parallel to the opening pivot axis. This pawl is then pivoted into its blocking position, although the lock housing is pivoted about the opening pivot axis, but the direction of rotation does not correspond to the opening pivoting direction.
- the pivot axis of the two-armed pawl extends transversely to the opening pivot axis. This pawl is pivoted in one of its two blocking positions when the lock is pivoted about an axis extending transversely to the opening pivot axis.
- the catch hook can be pivotally associated with the counter-closing part.
- the catch hook is rigidly connected to the counter-closing part. It may be made of plastic and integrally formed integrally with the plastic housing of the counter-closing part. However, the hook can also be formed by a metal part, in particular a stamped sheet metal part, which is firmly anchored in the plastic housing of the counter-closing part.
- the above object is further achieved in that the case is not only pivoted by gravity-related displacement of the weight part.
- the trap can also be pivoted by an opening auxiliary.
- the opening auxiliary member can, for example, be pivoted by an actuating handle of the counter-closing part.
- the opening auxiliary member is pivoted by a cylinder lock or the like of the counter-closing part.
- the opening auxiliary member may be formed as a lever. It will preferably be of a rocker-like shape.
- One arm of the auxiliary opening member forms an actuating arm, on which, for example, a closing member of the lock cylinder engages. On the actuating arm but can also be attacked by the container interior to cause an emergency opening.
- the active arm of the opening auxiliary member engages the head of the trap to relocate it.
- the head can be pivotally associated with a control arm of the case.
- the head is displaceable against an elastic restoring force from the locking position by actuation of the auxiliary opening member.
- the active arm of the auxiliary opening member can engage a locking pin of the case head in order to displace it against the restoring force of the mentioned springs.
- the case head is pivotally displaceable relative to the control arm.
- a compression spring can bias the case head against the control arm under pretension.
- stops are provided. When pivoting the opening auxiliary member, this bias is overcome.
- the case head leaves the locking position. He is moved over the hook.
- the hook has a ramp.
- the case head or the locking pin of the case head can slide along.
- the case head moves relative to the control arm and then snaps over the hook in the locked position.
- the weight part is formed by a slider.
- the control pin is located approximately half the length of the control arm.
- the control pin may have a diameter which is significantly smaller than the S-shaped cam.
- At the end of the control arm sits a retaining pin, which in the basic position of the opening slide in a retaining recess rests.
- a torque applied by pivoting the active arm on the case head is not passed in this embodiment via the control pin in the control slot, but on the lever technically more favorably arranged retaining pin in the retaining recess.
- the incorrect operation lock is provided that this can occur with the locking bar in a latching position.
- the reliability is increased, since a certain vibration resistance is given.
- the incorrect operation locking element forming pawl it is slidably mounted in the opening slide.
- the recess in which the pawl is located has a stop ridge, which the locking end of the pawl can overcome only after it has moved linearly within the receiving recess.
- the bearing axis of the pawl is a play in a storage shaft.
- a holding arm may extend, which rests in a receiving chamber of the pusher. This measure also serves the operational safety, since the pawl can not enter into the blocking position by shaking when properly moving the lock housing.
- the lock consists essentially of two parts, a lock housing 1, which can be mounted in the upper region of the inner wall of an upwardly open container. On the opposite edge of the opening of the container, a lid is articulated, which is associated with a counter-closing part 3.
- the counter-closing part 3 has a catch hook 4 protruding downwards from the cover.
- the catch hook 4 can be moved against the restoring force of a spring from a locked position into an unlocked position (cf. Fig. 3 ) are pivoted. This can be done by pressing a arranged outside of the container on the lid top lock, which can be operated by a key or a polygon. But the catch hook 4 can also be pivoted from the inside, so that an emergency opening from the inside is possible.
- the latch housing arranged at the edge of the container has a catching shaft for the catch hook 4.
- the case 2 is formed with two arms and pivoting about a housing-fixed pivot axis 18 associated with the lock housing 1.
- the case head 19 is fork-shaped. The two forks hold a locking pin 20 which can be attacked by the fishing hook 4 in the locked position.
- control arm 17 At the end of the control arm 17 is a control pin 16 which engages in a control groove 15 of an opening slide 5.
- the control groove 15 has the Shape of an S-shaped slot, wherein the two end legs 15 ', 15 "of the control groove 15 parallel to a displacement direction of the opening slide 5. The between the two end portions 15', 15"'extending central portion 15 "of the cam groove extends obliquely to the direction of displacement the opening slide 5.
- the opening slide 5 is made of metal and forms a weight part.
- the displacement direction of the opening slide 5 is in the in the FIGS. 1 to 3 illustrated closed position of the closure, the vertical direction. He can of the in Fig. 1 position shown in the in Fig. 2 shown position to be shifted when the lock housing 1 is rotated about the opening pivot axis 6 in the direction of rotation 6 '.
- the displacement of the opening slide 5 in the in Fig. 2 shown displaced position takes place by the gravitational effect.
- the opening pivot axis 6 extends in a fastened to a dumpster closure parallel to the pivot axis of the lid, with which the closure is fixed in the closed position.
- the opening slide 5 has two open to a broad side of the opening slide 5 recesses 11, 12.

The invention has for its object to further develop a generic Mülltonnenverschluss use advantage.
The object is achieved by the invention specified in the claims.
While in the last-mentioned prior art a movable in two mutually perpendicular directions of movement ball is provided, the invention relates to a garbage can closure with a mishandling locking element. The incorrect operation locking element is designed as a pivotable about a bearing axis pawl. The mishandling locking element ensures that a displacement of the opening slide from the basic position to the displaced position is always locked when the housing is pivoted in a pivoting direction other than in the opening pivoting about the opening pivot axis. According to this embodiment, the case is only moved from its locking position to the release position when the lock housing or the container equipped with the lock housing is pivoted in the direction prescribed, namely in the overhead emptying direction. If, for example, the container is pivoted in a different direction, which can occur when the container tips over is, the trap remains in its locked position. However, but it is ensured that a proper emptying of the container is possible because pivoting of the housing or connected to the housing container to the opening pivot axis in the correct direction of rotation leads to a release of the fishing hook, so that the lid can open automatically. The latch can be one-armed. The latch can also be two-armed. In a preferred embodiment, two pawls are provided, wherein a first pawl is pivotable about a relative to the basic position horizontal pivot axis and facing upward. A second pawl can be pivoted relative to the basic position about a vertical axis. This latch can be a two-armed latch. The pawls are preferably in recesses of the opening slide. The recesses are open to a broad side surface of the opening slide. From this opening, the arms of the pawls can swing out when the housing is not pivoted in the proper opening direction about the opening pivot axis. Each arm is assigned a barrier bar, which protrudes inwardly from a housing wall. Against this barrier web the pivoted into the blocking position pawl occurs, so that a shear displacement of the opening slide is locked from the basic position to the shifted position. A development of the generic garbage can closure, which has independent significance, provides that the opening slide forms a substantially S-shaped cam groove. This control groove is formed by a slot, the two end portions substantially parallel to the direction of the opening slide. An intermediate portion between the two end portions extends obliquely to the direction of displacement of the opening slide. In the control groove, a control pin is guided, which sits on the free arm of a control arm of the case. As a result, the case is pivoted in the linear displacement of the opening slide from a blocking position to a release position. The trap is designed with two arms. It is pivotable about a housing-fixed pivot axis. It forms a trap head, which carries a locking pin, which cooperates with the fishing hook. The catch hook can be pivoted from the outside by pressing a lock or the like, so that the lid can be opened even in the locked position of the case. The tentacle can also be pivoted from the inside to bring the catch hook out of engagement with the case in the locked position. This is possible without the operation of a lock, so that a person accidentally caught in the container can free himself. The pivot axis of the one-armed pawl, which faces upward in the basic position, runs parallel to the opening pivot axis. This pawl is then pivoted into its blocking position, although the lock housing is pivoted about the opening pivot axis, but the direction of rotation does not correspond to the opening pivoting direction. The pivot axis of the two-armed pawl extends transversely to the opening pivot axis. This pawl is pivoted in one of its two blocking positions when the lock is pivoted about an axis extending transversely to the opening pivot axis. In the variant described above, the catch hook can be pivotally associated with the counter-closing part. Preferably, however, the catch hook is rigidly connected to the counter-closing part. It may be made of plastic and integrally formed integrally with the plastic housing of the counter-closing part. However, the hook can also be formed by a metal part, in particular a stamped sheet metal part, which is firmly anchored in the plastic housing of the counter-closing part.
The above object is further achieved in that the case is not only pivoted by gravity-related displacement of the weight part. The trap can also be pivoted by an opening auxiliary. The opening auxiliary member can, for example, be pivoted by an actuating handle of the counter-closing part. Preferably, the opening auxiliary member is pivoted by a cylinder lock or the like of the counter-closing part. The opening auxiliary member may be formed as a lever. It will preferably be of a rocker-like shape. One arm of the auxiliary opening member forms an actuating arm, on which, for example, a closing member of the lock cylinder engages. On the actuating arm but can also be attacked by the container interior to cause an emergency opening. The active arm of the opening auxiliary member engages the head of the trap to relocate it. For this purpose, the head can be pivotally associated with a control arm of the case. Preferably, the head is displaceable against an elastic restoring force from the locking position by actuation of the auxiliary opening member. For this purpose, the active arm of the auxiliary opening member can engage a locking pin of the case head in order to displace it against the restoring force of the mentioned springs. Preferably, the case head is pivotally displaceable relative to the control arm. A compression spring can bias the case head against the control arm under pretension. For this purpose, stops are provided. When pivoting the opening auxiliary member, this bias is overcome. The case head leaves the locking position. He is moved over the hook. The hook has a ramp. On this, the case head or the locking pin of the case head can slide along. In this case, the case head moves relative to the control arm and then snaps over the hook in the locked position. In the above-discussed solution of the problem, it is not necessary that the weight part is formed by a slider. In this embodiment, the control pin is located approximately half the length of the control arm. The control pin may have a diameter which is significantly smaller than the S-shaped cam. At the end of the control arm sits a retaining pin, which in the basic position of the opening slide in a retaining recess rests. A torque applied by pivoting the active arm on the case head is not passed in this embodiment via the control pin in the control slot, but on the lever technically more favorably arranged retaining pin in the retaining recess. In a further development of the incorrect operation lock is provided that this can occur with the locking bar in a latching position. For this purpose, there can be a free space at the rear of the blocking web, into which a holding projection of the incorrect operation locking element can enter. As a result, the reliability is increased, since a certain vibration resistance is given. In a preferred embodiment of the incorrect operation locking element forming pawl it is slidably mounted in the opening slide. The recess in which the pawl is located has a stop ridge, which the locking end of the pawl can overcome only after it has moved linearly within the receiving recess. For this purpose, the bearing axis of the pawl is a play in a storage shaft. At the rear of the blocking arm of the pawl, a holding arm may extend, which rests in a receiving chamber of the pusher. This measure also serves the operational safety, since the pawl can not enter into the blocking position by shaking when properly moving the lock housing.
