Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Signalgeber, der eine LED-Lichtquelle (2, 12) bestimmter Farbe ansteuert und mit einem Stellwerk zusammenwirkt. Ein signaltechnisch sicherer Signalgeber, der auf einfache Weise als signaltechnisch sicherer Mehrbegriffssignalgeber konzipierbar ist, zeichnet sich erfindungsgemäß dadurch aus, dass ein LED-Treiber (6) vorgesehen ist, welcher eingangsseitig über eine EMV-Schutzeinrichtung (3) mit dem Stellwerk und ausgangsseitig mit der LED-Lichtquelle (2, 12) verbunden ist und dass eine von der LED-Lichtquelle (2, 12) oder deren Bestromung beaufschlagte Messwerterfassung (7, 7.1) zur Ermittlung einer Ist-Betriebsart, insbesondere bezüglich Tag- oder Nachtbetrieb, mit einem Vergleicher (9) zum Vergleich der Ist-Betriebsart mit einer von dem Stellwerk vorgegebenen Soll-Betriebsart verbunden ist, wobei das Vergleichsergebnis einem in den Strompfad des LED-Treibers (6) eingeschleiften Abschalter (4) zugeführt ist.
