Abstract

Claims (8)

  1. Window joinery comprising a frame (100), constituted of one or several profiles (110 and 120), preformed with a U-shaped recess (130) in order to receive a glazed portion (200) formed of a pair of glass panels (210 and 220) separated on their edges by a separator (230) and maintained in position by a means of joining of the sealant type (M), a seal (300) taking the shape of said U being interiorly associated with the edges of the pair of glass panels (210 and 220) and exteriorly to the edges of the U-shaped recess (130), the frame (100) forming two posts, CHARACTERISED BY THE FACT THAT said joinery further comprises a joining piece (400) which proposes over a portion of the height of the post, to come as a separator between the edge of the pair of glass panels (210 and 220) and the profile of the frame (100) and to create, between the glazing pane (200) and said profile (100), a closed chamber (410) wherein a joining sealant (M) is introduced.
  2. Window joinery according to claim 1, CHARACTERISED BY THE FACT THAT the frame (100) is pierced in order to allow for the introduction of said sealant (M) inside the chamber (410) from the outside.
  3. Window joinery according to claim 1, CHARACTERISED BY THE FACT THAT it is preformed in such a way that the joining chamber (410) does not communicate with the separator portion (130) separating the two glass panels (210 and 220).
  4. Window joinery according to claim 1, CHARACTERISED BY THE FACT THAT the joining piece (400) is substituted over its length, for the seal (300) which is preformed with an adapted recess (310).
  5. Window joinery according to claim 1, CHARACTERISED BY THE FACT THAT the joining piece (400) is made from a plastic material.
  6. Window joinery according to claim 1 adapted to a picture window with at least two sliders of which the surfaces of the posts located across from each other in a closed position are provided with baffles cooperating with each other in order to participate in the thermal insulation of the picture window, CHARACTERISED BY THE FACT THAT the frame (100) of the slider is pierced on one side of the post supporting the baffle.
  7. Window joinery according to claim 1, CHARACTERISED BY THE FACT THAT the joining piece (400) adopts a U-shaped profile of which:
    - the upper face (421) of the horizontal bar (420) comes into direct contact with the edge of the glazed portion (200),
    - the vertical bars (430 and 440) are punched with a recess (450) in order to allow for the contact of the sealant (M) against the glass (200) and against the profile of the post,
    - and the lower face of the horizontal bar (420) being perforated in order to bring into communication the recesses (450) made in the vertical bars (430 and 440) by creating a recess (460) between the lower surface of the U and the wall of the profile (100).
  8. Window joinery according to claim 1, CHARACTERISED BY THE FACT THAT the joining piece (400) is substituted over its limited length, for the inside portion of said seal (300).
