Der neuartige Nebelwurfkörper ermöglicht es aufgrund der voneinander getrennten pyrotechnischen Zerlegerladungen, die mit zugehörigen Modulen von Nebelstoff zusammenwirken, dass unmittelbar, d. h. in sehr kurzer Zeit nach dem Ausstoß eine durch die erste pyrotechnische Zerlegerladung entstehende erste Nebelwand mit hoher Nebeldichte ausgebildet wird und anschließend, etwas zeitverzögert, die Ausbildung der zweiten Nebelwand erfolgt.
