Bei einer Betätigung des Spenders durch Drücken auf das Spenderkopfteil 11 fährt zunächst bei Einfederung des Pumpbalges 9 das Spenderkopfteil 11 nach unten bis die Stirnfläche des Dorns 35 mit der zugewandten Stirnfläche des Ventil-Schaftes 34 in Berührung kommt. Bei einem Fortsetzen des Hubes drückt das Spenderkopfteil 11 vermittels des Dorns 35 und des Ventil-Schaftes 34 das Auslassventil nach unten, derart, dass der Ventilteller 31 einen Durchlass aus der Pumpkammer 25 in das Ausgaberöhrchen 24 freigibt.
