Abstract
Segment de piston avec un corps de base qui présente une face de portée (2) pourvue d'une chambre (6, 6'), une face de flanc supérieure (3), une face de flanc inférieure (4) et une face périphérique intérieure (5). Au moins la chambre est pourvue d'une couche (7, 7') de protection contre l'usure. De plus, une couche de recouvrement (8, 8') déposée en phase gazeuse est appliquée au moins partiellement sur la face de portée de telle sorte que le corps de base, dans l'état achevé, présente la couche de recouvrement uniquement dans les régions de bords (9, 10, 9', 10'), c'est-à-dire en dehors de la chambre.
