Abstract

A flowline packaging system is assembled from a number of modules (10 to 40) which are interconnected via spacers (100, 200) on the adjoining faces. The spacers lock into each other with a seal and form a defined space between the modules. No single main frame is required.

Description

The invention relates to a packaging machine with at least one processing station, which is mounted on a frame.

Packaging machines have a plurality of processing stations, such as e.g. Forming, sealing and cutting stations, for packaging products. Furthermore, they have an insertion and a delivery area. All processing stations or entry and exit areas are mounted on a single frame. The frame for the packaging machine consists of individual parts, which are connected to each other by welding and / or screwing to modules or to the overall frame.

When connecting the individual parts of the processing station and / or individual assemblies of the frame care must be taken that they are aligned with respect to the downstream frame and / or the respective adjacent assembly of the frame in such a way that an exact packaging process is ensured within the packaging machine.

When connecting the individual frame parts of different processing stations and / or individual assemblies or areas of the frame forms between the connected frame parts and / or areas a parting line, which can be sealed only with elaborate seals and is difficult to clean. However, in order to meet the industry's desire for low downtime of the packaging machine, must be ensured be that the individual processing stations can be cleaned easily and quickly. Also, in a welding of the frame parts and / or areas of a frame accurate alignment of the welded frame parts and / or areas of a frame to each other can not be ensured. Also, after a firm connection of the frame parts is no longer possible to change the arrangement of the respective processing stations with little effort.

The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a packaging machine in which the individual processing stations can be made simpler, cleaned and flexibly arranged, and at the same time the alignment of individual frame parts of the processing stations and / or the regions of the frame is improved.

This object is solved by the features of patent claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are set forth in the subclaims.

Since the packaging machine has a modular structure and thus each composed of several racks, different arrangement combinations of the individual racks of a processing station, an insertion and / or a delivery station are possible. There are now combined processing stations conceivable in which, for example, by several successively arranged modular racks on which the corresponding processing tools are mounted, the product to be packaged is sealed several times. Also, it is made possible by the modular structure of the respective processing station to provide different equipment options for the respective racks of the processing station, the design effort is reduced overall, as no longer the entire processing station must be redesigned, but only the frame in question.

In an assembly of the separate racks the respective spacer elements are connected to a spacer element facing surface of the respective frame. This ensures that two adjacent racks are connected to each other via the spacer element. In addition, a defined gap between the two racks is formed as a result of the spacer element. This gap is formed such that both the distance element facing surfaces of the respective racks and the spacer element itself are each easily accessible, whereby a cleaning of the processing station is ensured and simplified especially in these critical areas. As a result of adjusting itself between the separate racks gap no elaborate sealing of the frame is more necessary. Also, each optimal alignment of the individual frames to each other and to the racks of other processing stations is achieved by the spacer element, and sufficient stability of the processing station for forces occurring in the processing station is ensured.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is that the individual processing stations have a closed structure of the respective racks. Characterized in that the spacer elements similar to a piece of pipe have a closed outer periphery and an inner continuous recess, can be performed by the supply and control lines, can be additionally ensured by the connection of the first and second spacers that extending between the processing stations lines protected are housed by the product to be packaged. Thus, a contamination of the interior of the respective frame and / or the between the running through the processing stations lines prevented by the product to be packaged.

Furthermore, a further advantageous embodiment of the invention is that impurities can not collect on the spacer element, since this each has a round or trapezoidal cross-section. The round or obliquely or not horizontally extending surfaces of the spacer ensure that when cleaning water or detergent must drain completely, so that no liquid residues remain that could form possible impurity foci.

FIG. 1 11 shows a front view of a processing station 1 with a plurality of racks 10, 20, 30 in an unassembled state of the processing station 1. The separate racks 10, 20, 30 are an introduction processing rack 10 and an execution processing rack 30, and a processing rack 20 interposed therebetween In the FIG. 1 not shown transport devices, the product to be packaged on the respective frame 10, 20, 30 are transported. In addition, between each of the processing rack 20 and the introduction processing rack 10 and / or the execution processing rack 30, a rack 40 is disposed.

The support frame has a greater height than the racks to a part of a tool or similar. to install above the frame. In the present embodiment, a machining tool holder 41 is disposed between the two support frames 40 in parallel to a moving direction of the product to be packaged. In this case, the machining tool holder 41 is connected at its respective ends to the respective holding frame 40 and has in the FIG. 1 not shown tools for processing, such as for sealing, the product to be packaged on.

At least one first spacer element 100 is arranged on a respective surface of the introduction processing frame 10 and / or of the processing frame 20 and / or of the execution processing frame 30 that is vertically aligned transversely to the direction of movement of the product to be packaged. Also, at least one second spacer element 200 is arranged at a transversely to the direction of movement of the product to be packaged vertically aligned surface of the holding frame 40. The second spacer element 200 is arranged on the holding frame 40 such that it faces the first spacer element 100, and that the first spacer element 100 can be positively engaged with this. Between the first and second spacer elements 100, 200, a seal 400 for sealing the first and second spacer elements 100, 200 is arranged.

In this case, the second spacer element 200 may not only be arranged on the holding frame 40. Embodiments are also conceivable in which the holding frame 40 is dispensed with. In such a In the case, two spacers 100, 100 are connected to each other at the lead-in processing frame 10 and / or the machining frame 20 and / or the machining frame 30.

In an assembled state of the processing station 1, the first and second spacer elements 100, 200 engage in a form-fitting manner, so that in each case a gap is formed between the holding frame 40 and the introduction frame 10 and / or the processing frame 20 and / or the delivery frame 30. The horizontal distance between the support frame 40 and the insertion frame 10 and / or the machining frame 20 and / or the frame 30 is determined by the horizontally extending length of the first and second spacer elements 100, 200.

By means of arranged at each end of the support frame 40 and / or the Einführgestells 10 and / or the Ausführgestells 30 feet 42 a distance between the processing station 1 and a bottom is set. Also, between its end edges of the cover plate and the bottom plate located in the direction of movement of the product to be packaged, the processing frame 20 has a direction transverse to the direction of movement of the pack to be packaged Products vertically extending side cover plate 25 on.

Within the processing frame 20 is between the two cover plates 25 and the cover plate and the bottom plate 26, a working tool receiving space 22 for receiving in FIG. 1 not shown working tools, such as a lifting device, a drive, etc. formed. This working tool receiving space 22 separates two line receiving spaces 21 respectively formed between the cover plates 25, the side plate, the cover plate and the bottom plate 26 for receiving supply lines. The separation of the line receiving spaces 21 through the working tool receiving space 22 is effected in each case by separating elements 23.

At least one first spacer element 100 is arranged on the cover plate 25. Each spacer element 100 has a continuous recess 101. Each cover plate 25 also has a continuous recess in which the spacer element is installed, so that both recesses are aligned and create a connection with the line receiving space 21. This first spacer element 100 is connected to a second spacer element 200 with an in FIG. 3 shown second recess 201 in such a way that the second recess 202 is connected to the first recess 101.

In this case, in this case, the first and second spacer element 100, 200 have a round cross-section. However, embodiments are also conceivable in which the first and second spacer elements 100, 200 do not have a round but a trapezoidal cross section. The outer contours of the spacer elements are chosen so that no horizontal surface is formed, on which accumulate through the purification accumulated backwater or other impurities.

In addition, the first spacer element 100 is releasably connected to the second spacer element 200 by means of a fastening means 300, such as a screw. The first and second spacer element 100, 200 are designed such that they engage one another in a form-fitting manner. In a between the first and second spacer element 100, 200 transition region setting a seal 400 is arranged.

Furthermore, an integral spacer element is alternatively conceivable that is provided between two racks. By means of this spacer element is to ensure that forms a gap between the racks. The spacer element has a bore through which the lines between the racks can be performed. The ends of the spacer element are detachably connected to a facing the spacer element surface of the respective frame. In this case, the attachment of the spacer element to the respective frame by a respective fastening means, such. a screw, done. Alternatively, the attachment may be made with only one fastener passing through the spacer such as e.g. a screw, done. The fastening means in this case is at the end emerging from the spacer element with a fixing means, such as e.g. a nut, secured against axial displacement. Between the spacer element and the respective surface facing the spacer element of the frame, a seal is arranged in each case.

Furthermore, an integral spacer element is alternatively conceivable in which only one end of the spacer element is firmly connected to only one spacer element facing surface of the frame. In this case, the spacer element is connected to the spacer element facing surface of the frame, for example by welding. In addition, the spacer element has a bore on, through which the lines between the racks can be performed. The fixed end facing away from the end of the spacer element is releasably connected to a spacer element facing surface of the other frame. The connection of the spacer element with the spacer element facing surface of the frame can be secured with a fastener, such as a screw. In this case, a seal is arranged between the spacer element and the spacer element facing surface of the releasably connected frame.
