Definitions
- the invention relates to a connection profile for plaster adjacent components, such as window and door frames, and roller shutter elements, with a sealing leg which can be fastened with a sealing strip on the component, as well as with a Einputzschenkel having a cleaning strip.
- Sealing tapes or self-adhesive sealing compounds with which soffit connection profiles are fastened to the window or door frame have the disadvantage that relative movements between the adjoining installation part and the facade can be absorbed only to a very limited extent.
- the elasticity of the sealing strip is about 25% of the thickness of the sealing strip, so that, for example, a sealing strip with 4 mm thickness can compensate for relative movements of the facade away from the window or door frame only in the extent of about 1 mm.
- a soffit connection profile for plaster adjacent components which has a sealing leg, the component side is equipped with a sealing strip.
- the sealing leg is connected to an outer leg, which is arranged substantially parallel to the sealing leg, via a flexible tab or a foldable element.
- the foldable element can emanate from the mutually facing surfaces of the outer leg, as well as the sealing leg, so that even with a relative movement of several millimeters is ensured by the unfolded folding element for a tight connection.
- the adhesive part consists of a spring element which ends in a fastened to the component adhesive foot, the adhesive surface is covered with a protective film. After removal of the protective film, the profile is pressed with the adhesive foot to the component, placed vertically in position and plastered.
- the adhesive foot including the spring element is arranged between two sealing lips on the underside of the profile. Movements of the structure and the component are compensated by the spring element.
- the spring element dissolves by predetermined breaking points of the adhesive foot, the seal to the component is made only by the relatively large volume sealing lips.
- a disadvantage is the externally visible large-volume sealing lip, as well as the freely movable during installation adhesive part, which complicates the installation.
- the object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages of the known connection profiles and further develop them such that on the one hand a permanent seal between plaster and / or spatula connections and the adjacent components can be achieved and on the other hand, no problems in the assembly or storage of such connection profiles occur , In particular, tensile loads in a direction away from the adjacent component direction should be compensated to a sufficient extent.
- the sealing leg has a first closed by the sealing strip receptacle for at least one folding element, wherein the sealing strip at a gap between the plaster and component increasing relative movement of the sealing leg is releasable and the at least one folding element is free.
- the disruptive in conventional connection profiles both during assembly and in storage folding element disappears in the connection profile according to the invention in a recording of the sealing leg and is there included by the sealing strip for the time being. Storage and processing of the profile are thus just as easy as with profiles without folding element.
- the folding element remains trapped by the sealing strip, as long as relatively large relative movements in a direction away from the fixture occur, in which the sealing strip from the sealing leg dissolves and so the receptacle for the folding element is opened. From this point on, the folding element takes over the seal between the component and the sealing leg, permitting relative movements of a few millimeters.
- the folding element preferably proceeds from the sealing leg-for example from the base region or a side region of the receptacle in the sealing leg-and ends in a flat foot part which is glued to the sealing strip.
- the Faltelement consists of a flexible, flexible soft plastic
- the sealing leg (as well as the entire connection profile) and the foot can be made of hard plastic, creating a better adhesive bond to the sealing strip can be created.
- the sealing leg and the foot part for example, made of rigid PVC, the folding element of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
- the folding element can be equipped with a reinforced head region which is held in a corresponding receiving groove in the receptacle of the sealing leg - along the profile axis displaceable.
- one-piece connection profile 1 has a sealing leg 2, which is fastened with a sealing strip 3 on the component 10 (for example, a window sash), wherein further a plaster leg 5 is provided, which forms an angle of about 90 ° with the sealing leg 2.
- a soffit connection profile which is preferably used for the connection of thermally insulated facades, wherein a heat-insulating element 11 is indicated by dashed lines, which rests on the sealing leg 2 and the plaster leg 5.
- the Einputzschenkel 5 has a slightly inclined in the direction of component 10 cleaning strip 6, which covers the front edge of the sealing strip 3 at least in part.
- the sealing leg 2 a closed by the sealing strip 3 receptacle 4 for a folding element 7, wherein the sealing strip 3 at a gap between the plaster 12 and component 10 magnifying relative movement of the sealing leg 2 is detachable (see Fig. 2 ), wherein then unfolds the folding element 7 and the gap between the plaster and the component continues to seal.
- the receptacle 4 with the tightly folded folding element is thus closed during storage of the connection profile, as well as during assembly by the sealing strip 3 and opens only at higher tensile loads that can not be compensated by the elastic sealing strip 3 in itself sufficient.
- the folding element 7 is fastened with one side in the base region of the receptacle 4 of the sealing leg 2 and ends in a flat foot part 8, which is glued to the sealing strip 3.
- the sealing leg 2, the foot part 8 and the folding element 7 can be made in one piece by co-extrusion, with different materials for the individual parts are used.
- the sealing leg and the foot part made of rigid PVC and the folding element 7 made of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
- the receptacle 4 for the folding element 7 in the sealing leg 2 is limited by component-side adhesive surfaces 9, to which the sealing strip 3 in the starting position according to Fig. 1 is glued on. Due to the larger adhesive surface to the component 10 dissolves in a relative movement, the adhesive bond between the sealing leg 2 and sealing strip 3, so that in Fig. 2 situation occurs.
- the sealing strip is characterized in the assembly on the component 10 over the entire surface and even and can be easily pressed against the component 10.
- the Einputzschenkel 5 For better anchoring in the plaster 12 or a filler, the Einputzschenkel 5 a reinforcing fabric 13, which is fixed for example by means of a co-extruded retaining strip 14 on Einputzschenkel 5.
- a detachable protective leg 15 for receiving a cover film not shown. 16 with an adhesive strip including protective film is called, which serves to attach the cover.
- a second embodiment of the invention which shows a roller shutter connection profile. Functionally identical parts have the reference numerals described with reference to the first embodiment variant.
- the sealing leg 2 and the Einputzschenkel 5 are pointing away from each other substantially parallel to each other. This is illustrated by the in Fig. 6 illustrated installation situation.
- connection profile 1 is here attached to the sealing strip 3 on a roller shutter rail 17, wherein the folding element 7 in a relative movement in the direction of arrow 18 - as in Fig. 4 shown - unfolded and takes over the seal at this point.
- a third embodiment according to Fig. 7 shows a two-part profile 1 with a flexible tab 7, which is equipped starting from a foot part 8 with a thickened head portion 19 and a header, in a corresponding receiving groove 20 in the sealing leg 2 of the two-part connection profile is clicked.
- the spring action of the flexible tab 7 is not only a relative movement in the direction of a change in distance to the base profile but by the groove / spring connection 19, 20 and a relative movement in the direction of the profile axis possible.
- FIG. 8 a fourth embodiment of the invention, in which the sealing leg 2 has a latching connection 21 to the front part of the profile 1, consisting of the Einputzschenkel 5 and the plaster strip 6, and therefore along the profile axis is displaceable. Furthermore, a sealing lip 22 is arranged on Einputzschenkel 5, which seals the gap to the component 10 in the installed state.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a connection profile for plaster adjacent components, such as window and door frames, and roller shutter elements, with a sealing leg which can be fastened with a sealing strip on the component, as well as with a Einputzschenkel having a cleaning strip.
Sealing tapes or self-adhesive sealing compounds with which soffit connection profiles are fastened to the window or door frame have the disadvantage that relative movements between the adjoining installation part and the facade can be absorbed only to a very limited extent. Usually, the elasticity of the sealing strip is about 25% of the thickness of the sealing strip, so that, for example, a sealing strip with 4 mm thickness can compensate for relative movements of the facade away from the window or door frame only in the extent of about 1 mm.

The object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages of the known connection profiles and further develop them such that on the one hand a permanent seal between plaster and / or spatula connections and the adjacent components can be achieved and on the other hand, no problems in the assembly or storage of such connection profiles occur , In particular, tensile loads in a direction away from the adjacent component direction should be compensated to a sufficient extent.
According to the invention this is achieved in that the sealing leg has a first closed by the sealing strip receptacle for at least one folding element, wherein the sealing strip at a gap between the plaster and component increasing relative movement of the sealing leg is releasable and the at least one folding element is free. The disruptive in conventional connection profiles both during assembly and in storage folding element disappears in the connection profile according to the invention in a recording of the sealing leg and is there included by the sealing strip for the time being. Storage and processing of the profile are thus just as easy as with profiles without folding element. Even when installed, the folding element remains trapped by the sealing strip, as long as relatively large relative movements in a direction away from the fixture occur, in which the sealing strip from the sealing leg dissolves and so the receptacle for the folding element is opened. From this point on, the folding element takes over the seal between the component and the sealing leg, permitting relative movements of a few millimeters.
The folding element preferably proceeds from the sealing leg-for example from the base region or a side region of the receptacle in the sealing leg-and ends in a flat foot part which is glued to the sealing strip. While the Faltelement consists of a flexible, flexible soft plastic, the sealing leg (as well as the entire connection profile) and the foot can be made of hard plastic, creating a better adhesive bond to the sealing strip can be created. The sealing leg and the foot part, for example, made of rigid PVC, the folding element of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
According to an advantageous, two-part embodiment variant of the connection profile, the folding element can be equipped with a reinforced head region which is held in a corresponding receiving groove in the receptacle of the sealing leg - along the profile axis displaceable.
