This in turn reduces the total angular movement of the rigid tension member 14, and permits a higher opening angle to be achieved for a given shape and geometry of the rigid tension member 14 and of the hole 34. This also permits a high closing force to be achieved at the opening angle of up to 120°.
- the biasing force of the helical compression spring 4 acts to bias the rigid tension member 14 inwardly of the housing 2, for closing the door.
