Description

VOLANT DE BADMINTON ET SON PROCEDE DE FABRICATION
La présente invention concerne un volant de badminton, ainsi que son procédé de fabrication. De manière habituelle, un tel volant comprend un bouchon, à partir duquel s'étend une jupe formée par différentes plumes, reliées les unes avec les autres. De façon générale, deux types principaux de volants sont connus.
Ainsi, un premier type de volants est formé de plumes entièrement naturelles, prélevées sur des volailles, telles que des oies. Cette solution présente cependant un inconvénient, en ce sens que la production de volants en plumes naturelles nécessite de faire appel à un nombre extrêmement élevé d'animaux. Dans ces conditions, cette production peut être mise en péril dans le cas d'une pénurie de volaille. Par ailleurs, le prix de revient de ces volants est particulièrement élevé. Un second type de volants fait appel à une jupe artificielle, réalisée d'un seul tenant en un matériau synthétique, tel que du polypropylène. Bien que cette solution permette de résoudre le problème de coût et de pénurie d'animaux, elle ne permet pas d'obtenir des volants de bonne qualité.
Dans ces conditions, l'invention se propose de remédier à ces différents inconvénients.
A cet effet, elle a pour objet un volant de badminton comprenant un bouchon, ainsi qu'une jupe formée de plusieurs plumes, chaque plume comprenant une hampe et deux lames, caractérisé en ce que chaque plume est formée d'une hampe naturelle, ainsi que de lames artificielles. Selon une caractéristique avantageuse de l'invention les lames artificielles sont réalisées en un non-tissé de polyester, de polypropylène ou de fibres de verre.
L'invention a également pour objet un procédé de fabrication du volant tel que défini ci-dessus, dans lequel on prélève une hampe naturelle sur un animal, on réalise de manière séparée les lames artificielles, et on rapporte les lames artificielles sur cette hampe naturelle, de manière à former les plumes constitutives de la jupe du volant. Selon une caractéristique avantageuse de l'invention, on rapporte les lames sur la hampe par collage.
L'invention va être décrite ci-après, en référence aux dessins annexés, donnés uniquement à titre d'exemple non limitatif, dans lesquels : - la figure 1 est une vue de côté, illustrant un volant de badminton conforme à l'invention ;
- la figure 2 est une vue de face illustrant une plume appartenant à ce volant ; et
- la figure 3 est une vue de face, illustrant une étape de la réalisation de la plume de la figure 2.
La figure 1 illustre un volant de badminton, qui comprend de manière classique un bouchon 2, à partir duquel s'étend une jupe 4, qui est formée de différentes plumes 10, reliées les unes aux autres de façon habituelle par un cerclage 6. La figure 2 illustre de façon plus précise une plume 10, qui comprend une hampe 12 ainsi que deux lames 14, s'étendant de part et d'autre de cette hampe, de manière à peu près symétrique. Dans l'exemple illustré, ces deux lames 14 sont réalisées d'un seul tenant. Cependant, à titre de variante non représentée, elles peuvent être séparées l'une de l'autre. En vue de la réalisation de chaque plume 10, on utilise tout d'abord une hampe naturelle 12, à savoir prélevée sur un animal, tel une oie. On réalise par ailleurs séparément, par tout procédé approprié, les deux lames 14. Celles-ci sont artificielles, à savoir qu'elles sont constituées d'un matériau non naturel, qui est par exemple un non-tissé en polyester. Les lames artificielles ainsi produites sont rapportées sur la hampe naturelle, selon la flèche F à la figure 3, par tout moyen approprié, notamment par collage.
Le volant conforme à l'invention, comprenant une hampe naturelle et des lames artificielles, représente un compromis satisfaisant entre les deux solutions existantes. En effet, l'utilisation de lames artificielles permet de s'affranchir d'une éventuelle pénurie d'animaux, sur lesquels sont prélevées des plumes. Ainsi, chaque animal est susceptible de fournir de nombreuses hampes naturelles, qui interviennent dans l'invention. Par comparaison, un même animal ne peut fournir que quelques plumes entières, équipant les volants naturels de l'art antérieur.
De plus, le volant conforme à l'invention présente une qualité nettement supérieure à celle des volants artificiels, réalisés dans l'art antérieur. En effet, le volant de l'invention comprend des plumes séparées les unes des autres, de sorte qu'il présente une forme globale voisine de celle des volants en plumes entièrement naturelles. Ceci est à comparer avec les volants artificiels de l'état de la technique, qui font appel à une jupe synthétique d'un seul tenant, dont les caractéristiques sont très différentes de celles des volants en plumes entièrement naturelles.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1. Volant de badminton, comprenant un bouchon (2), ainsi qu'une jupe (4) formée de plusieurs plumes (10), chaque plume comprenant une hampe (12) et deux lames (14), caractérisé en ce que chaque plume (10) est formée d'une hampe naturelle (12), ainsi que de lames artificielles (14).
2. Volant selon la revendication 1 , caractérisé en ce que les lames artificielles sont réalisées en un non-tissé de polyester, polypropylène ou de fibres de verre.
3. Procédé de fabrication du volant selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel on prélève une hampe naturelle (12) sur un animal, on réalise de manière séparée les lames artificielles (14), et on rapporte les lames artificielles sur cette hampe naturelle, de manière à former les plumes constitutives de la jupe du volant.
4. Procédé selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce qu'on rapporte les lames sur la hampe par collage.
