Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Leuchte mit wenigstens einem Gehäuseteil und einem mit diesem druckfest mittels eines Aufschraubrings verbundenen lichtdurchlässigen Abdeckung, wobei zwischen Gehäuseteil und Abdeckung ein Flammenlöschspalt ausgebildet ist. Solche Leuchten sind als Strahler, Scheinwerfer, Hängeleuchten oder dergleichen auch in Bereichen einsetzbar, in denen Explosionsschutzbedingungen erfüllt werden müssen. Zur Erfüllung dieser Bedingungen weist der entsprechende Flammenlöschspalt gewisse Abmessungen auf, die durch entsprechende Normen und dergleichen je nach Explosionsschutz vorgegeben sind.
Bei aus der Praxis bekannten Leuchten ist zur Ausbildung des entsprechenden Flammenlöschspaltes bisher notwendig, die lichtdurchlässige Abdeckung mit einem Metallring oder dergleichen zu verbinden, wobei zwischen diesem Metallring und dem Gehäuseteil der entsprechende Flammenlöschspalt gebildet ist. Der Metallring wird mit der lichtdurchlässigen Abdeckung aus beispielsweise Glas, wie Borosilikat-Glas oder dergleichen mittels eines Klebemittels verbunden. Diese Verbindung lässt sich beispielsweise zum Recycling der entsprechenden Teile der Leuchte nicht oder nur schwierig wieder auflösen.
