Description

A tumble dryer of this type is marketed under the name "Pegasus" by Leifheit AG. The present invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a device for drying laundry or the like. Such and further develop that with a simple design effortless suspension even large laundry is possible.

The above object is achieved by a device for drying laundry with the features of claim 1. The known from the prior art dryers shows a further disadvantage in that the laundry suspended there, especially when the tumble dryer is outdoors, both to the sun and to pollution is unprotected. Although the drying of the laundry is favored in blazing sunshine, the laundry bleaches according to the sun's rays. Pollen, especially of sticky flowers, contaminates the laundry. In a particularly advantageous manner, the cover could be attached to one of the receptacles or to the conveying means with two corner regions or with an edge region and can be pulled over the subsequent receptacles when the conveying means are actuated, so that the cover acts like a kind of awning. 1.
