Abstract

A ribbon which is knitted for reinforcing a hollow element has at least two knitted ribbon parts (4, 6) which are connected to one another by at least one continuous weft thread (8) which is laid in repeated loops (12, 20), wherein the weft thread (8) is tied up firmly into the respective ribbon part (4, 6) in fastening sections (10) which change from ribbon part (4) to ribbon part (6). In dividing sections (18) between said fastening sections (10), the weft thread (8) is guided to and fro in weft thread loops (20) between the ribbon parts (4, 6), wherein the loop heads (22, 22a) of the weft thread loops (20) are arranged releasably and stretchably on the ribbon parts (4, 6). As a result, it is possible to produce the ribbon in a relatively small width and to widen it substantially for later use by releasing and stretching the loop heads.

Description

Gewirktes Band und seine Verwendung Knitted ribbon and its use
Technisches GebietTechnical area
The invention relates to a knitted tape according to the preamble of claim 1 and its use according to claim 7 for the stiffening of hollow bodies.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
Warp tapes of the type mentioned are known for example from DE 102 60 694 A. The knitted band has at least two band parts, which are connected to one another by at least one weft thread placed in repeated loops. In the binding area, a releasable separating thread is arranged, after the removal of which the knitted strip is thinned between the strip parts and the strip parts are connected to one another only via the weft threads. The distance between the band parts has not changed practically. The thinning serves to improve the wearing properties and the breathability of the bandage band.
No. 3,570,482 also describes knitted tape for medical purposes which has weft yarns reciprocating in some areas between wales which are mechanically or solvent separable and extendable to divide the tape into separate tape parts.
With hollow bodies, such as bags of flexible material, such as paper or textile material, there is the problem that, especially when filled with bulk material, they do not assume a stable shape, but bulge out. Accordingly, filled bags are difficult to store and require a relatively large amount of space.
Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention
Diese Aufgabe wird gelöst:The object of the invention is to provide a knitted band, which can be made after production to a greater width and is suitable to solve the problems mentioned. This task is solved:
a) durch ein gewirktes Band gemäss Anspruch 1; und b) die Verwendung des gewirkten Bandes zur Versteifung von Hohlkörpern aus flexiblem Material gemäss Anspruch 7.a) by a knitted tape according to claim 1; and b) the use of the knitted tape for stiffening hollow bodies of flexible material according to claim 7.
Characterized in that the knitted strip has at least two knitted strip parts, which are connected to each other by at least one laid in repeated loops, continuous weft, wherein the weft thread is firmly integrated in band-to-band part fixing portions in the respective band part and in separating portions between these attachment portions is looped back and forth in loops between the strip parts, wherein the loop heads are arranged detachably and extensibly on the strip parts, a knitted strip is provided, which can be made relatively compact, ie in particular with a small width on a ribbon knitting machine. For further use, for example, this strip can be pulled apart to a greater width as a stabilizing strip, with only the releasable and extensible loop heads being released and stretched on the strip parts. The stretched weft thread parts allow stabilization in the longitudinal direction.
The extended, knitted band, that is to say with the extended loop heads of the weft loops, is preferably used to stabilize hollow bodies made of flexible material. For this purpose, the band parts are introduced parallel to a corner fold in a hollow body and attached to the side walls. Thus, the corner shape of the hollow body is stabilized, so that the hollow body, even if it is filled with bulk material, for example, can essentially retain its intended shape. The stiffening of the hollow body by the band prevents the side walls from bulging out. Such a hollow body is relatively stable even when filled and can thus save space. be stored. This training even makes it possible that such hollow body in the filled state can also be stacked.

Means for Carrying Out the Invention The knitted ribbon 2 shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 consists of at least two knitted ribbon parts 4, 6, which are connected to one another via a weft thread 8. The weft thread 8 is firmly integrated in band part 4 to band part 6 mounting portions 10 in the respective band parts 4.6. For this purpose, the weft thread 8 runs in weft loops 12, which preferably extend over the entire width of the band parts 4, 6. For this purpose, the weft thread is inserted in a stitch row 14 and returned in the next stitch row 16. Between these fastening sections 10, the weft thread 8 runs in separating sections 18, in which weft loops 20 reciprocate between the strip parts 4, 6, the loop heads 22 being detachably and extensibly arranged on the strip parts 4, 6 of these.
According to the embodiments of FIGS. 1 and 2, the extensible loop heads 22 are each in stitches 24 of at least one wale 26a, 26b held. The wales 26a, 26b have an easily peelable layer so that they can be pulled up and removed to release and stretch the loop heads 22. According to FIG. 1, the wind-up wale 26a is in each case on the inside of the band parts, and according to FIG. 2 the wale 26b is arranged on the outside of the band parts.
In diesem Falle sind keine aufziehbaren Maschenstäbchen erforderlich.FIG. 3 shows a further embodiment of the band, in which the detachable and extensible loop heads 22a are arranged beyond the width of the band or band parts 4, 6. During manufacture, the loop heads 22a of the weft loops are prevented from retracting by means of engravers 27 until they are held by the tapping off of the courses. This embodiment is particularly preferred because after completion of the belt, the loop heads 22a can be easily pulled out of the respective band parts 4,6 for loosening and stretching. In this case, no pull-up wales are required.
The tape is preferably made in the RR knitting technique.
The band can thus be made in a relatively narrow shape, for example, in a width of 9 cm, and then, as can be seen in Figure 4 in the upper part, to a width of for example 50 cm by stretching the loop heads 22,22a take off can be a multiple of the original width. In the process, the loose wales 26a, 26b are pulled up and removed, so that the loop heads 22 are free and can be stretched or drawn out of the band parts 4 and 6 and stretched. In the embodiment of Figure 3, a winder winder is not required and the extensible loop heads 22a can be readily pulled out of the tape parts.
The knitted tape thus produced can then be arranged as a stiffener 28 in a hollow body 30, as shown in FIG. For this purpose, the band is arranged over corner folds 32 of the hollow body 30 with elongated weft threads 8 in the hollow body, the band parts 4, 6 being parallel to the corner fold 32 on the side. tenwänden 34, 36 of the hollow body 30 are attached. This attachment can be done for example by sewing or by gluing the band parts 4, 6 with the side walls 34, 36 of the hollow body 30. The knitted tape 2 gives the hollow body an extraordinary stiffening, without hindering the filling with bulk materials such as flour, sugar, grains and the like. The thus stiffened hollow body can be stored to save space and optionally stack.
The knitted ribbon 2 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 can also have further ribbon parts, which are each connected to each other with weft threads in the stated manner, so that, for example, an overall structure with five ribbon parts and four weft thread regions can be produced. Such a band can be used as a one-piece structure for stiffening a hollow body of the type mentioned in FIG. 5, if the stretched length of the weft threads and the width of the band parts are matched to the size and shape of the hollow body.
