Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zum Tempern von Gegenständen, insbesondere von Fahrzeugrädern, umfasst einen ersten Temperraum (18) und einem zweiten Temperraum (32), welche jeweils einen Eingang (20; 34) und einen Ausgang (22; 36) haben. Mit einer Fördereinrichtung (80, 84; 86; 96) sind mit zu tempernden Gegenständen (12) beladene Tragstrukturen (54; 56) im Durchlauf durch die Temperräume (18, 32) förderbar. Mittels einer Übergabeeinrichtung (96) sind die Tragstrukturen (54; 56) im Übergabebereich (94) von dem Ausgang (22) des ersten Temperraums (18) zum Eingang (34) des zweiten Temperraums (32) förderbar. In einer Behandlungseinrichtung (108) können Gegenstände (12) auf ihrem Weg von dem Ausgang (22) des ersten Temperraums (18) zum Eingang (34) des zweiten Temperraums (32) einer Zwischenbehandlung, insbesondere einer Abschreckung, unterzogen werden. Mittels einer Rangiereinrichtung (98, 112, 124) kann auf einer Tragstruktur (54; 56), die sich im Übergabebereich (94) befindet, ein aus dem ersten Temperraum (18) kommender Gegenstand (12) gegen einen von der Zwischenbehandlung kommenden Gegenstand (12) ausgetauscht werden.
