Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a method for packaging loose articles in a bulk article packaging device made from semi-rigid sheet material such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard.
  • the device according to the invention must ensure the packaging of the bulk items from the place of packaging to the final consumer via the platform (s) -form (s) storage (s) and the place of sale.
  • Articles packaged and thus offered for sale are, for example, fruits and vegetables such as potatoes, or various objects such as game balls or any other item that would need to be grouped in a package transportation and sales.
  • the present invention relates more particularly to methods of packaging bulk articles in which the articles are introduced into a gravity or high-flow conditioning device.
  • the packaging devices used on the market are in the form of a flexible envelope such as a bag, a bag or a net, on which there is optionally reported a strip made from a flexible support material which serves both as a handle and a communication surface.
  • the packaging process then consists of placing the envelope under a filling device, pouring the desired quantity of bulk articles and closing the envelope.
  • the first drawback is that it does not have a constant shape, fixed dimensions and a rigid structure. When placed on a pallet, it is difficult to prevent them from exceeding their overall width if not by placing them in a rigid wooden, cardboard, metal or other container that impairs their visibility on the pallet. the place of sale and which increases the cost of packaging and transport.
  • the second disadvantage is not to value the article contained, the bag, the bag or the pocket being synonymous with low-end in the mind of the consumer.
  • the third disadvantage is that it does not have a sufficient communication area, usually reduced to the surface of a label or handle and not to that of a printed package that wraps the entire product.
  • the fourth disadvantage is to insufficiently protect products, both for protection against shocks and for protection against light which, for example, is essential for items such as potatoes or chicory for reasons of safety, conservation, preservation of the appearance ...
  • the fifth disadvantage is not to retain the pieces of articles thus packaged may become detached or the residual earth that surrounds them and so contaminate the means of transport, sales places, vehicles and storage furniture of consumers successively.
  • one solution is to use crates or crates with side walls and solid bottom as packaging devices made of wood, cardboard or corrugated cardboard or any other material.
  • the product to be packaged when the product to be packaged is of the powder type, it can be packaged in a bag which is placed in a cardboard box with the economic disadvantage of using two components and making the mechanization more complex.
  • a solution for increasing the weight of packaged articles consists in forming the packaging around the products.
  • this solution is preferably used for products that can be ordered such as cans, for example.
  • this packaging process for forming the packaging around the articles requires more complex packaging lines, whose architecture is very different from packaging chains of loose items in flexible envelopes such as bags, bags or nets.
  • the present invention aims at overcoming the drawbacks of the prior art by proposing a method for packaging bulk articles that can be adapted by means of minor modifications to the packaging lines using a flexible envelope such as a net. , and using an economical and recyclable packaging device that does not have the disadvantages of net-type packaging devices.
  • the subject of the invention is a packaging method as defined in claim 1.
  • the inclined panel allows a gradual flow of articles and a natural regulation of their flow compared to a plane perpendicular to the direction of filling that would oppose it abruptly.
  • the narrowed lower part which gradually fades allows the items to position themselves gradually in support on walls with low flexibility initially then on the items already inside when the walls are much less rigid.
