Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brandschutzklappe mit einem Gehäuse für eine darin auf einer Schwenkachse schwenkbar gelagerte Absperrklappe, wobei das Gehäuse einen mit einem sich bei Wärmeeinwirkung ausdehnenden Material versehenen Teilbereich aufweist, wobei der Teilbereich längs des Umfangs der in geschlossenem Zustand befindlichen Absperrklappe vorgesehen ist und vorzugsweise beidseitig begrenzt, insbesondere als Nut ausgebildet, ist und wobei in dem Gehäuse und in dem Material zumindest eine Durchführung für die Schwenkachse vorgesehen ist und die Breite des Materials vorzugsweise zumindest in etwa der Dicke der Absperrklappe entspricht und wobei im geschlossenen Zustand der Absperrklappe zwischen dem Außenrand der Absperrklappe und der Innenfläche des Materials, das sich noch nicht durch Wärmeeinwirkung ausgedehnt hat, ein umlaufender Bewegungsspalt vorgesehen ist. Als problematisch erweist sich bei derartigen Absperrklappen die Abdichtung im Bereich der Schwenkachse gegenüber dem Gehäuse, da hier aufgrund der für die Schwenkachse erforderlichen Durchführung weniger Material vorgesehen ist und aufgrund dessen in diesen Bereichen die Dämmwirkung vermindert sein kann.
