Das klammerartige Innenteil steift dabei das dünnwandige und damit relativ weiche Material des Außenteils aus, wobei ein Ausknicken quer zur Längsebene, welche durch den Tür- und Fensterstopper verläuft, vermieden wird. Quer zur Längsebene besitzt der Tür- und / oder Fensterstopper, welcher nachfolgend kurz als Stopper bezeichnet wird, bevorzugt eine im Wesentlichen gleichbleibende Breite. Das klammerartige Innenteil weist zu seiner Spitze und/oder zur Spitze des Außenteils hin abnehmende Wanddicken auf, so dass eine ähnliche Bie- gesteifigkeit und Elastizität wie bei dem aus der EP 1 472 426 B1 bekannten Tür- und Fensterstopper erreicht werden, ohne dass dieser instabil wird.
