Description
The invention relates to a cutting torch with a burner head, which accommodates an exchangeable cutting nozzle, according to the preamble of
The present invention has for its object to provide a cutting torch according to the preamble of
For this purpose, the cutting torch according to the invention has the combination of the features specified in
An advantageous variant of the cap-like Heizdüsenanordnung is specified in
In each of the two above cases, a nozzle quick change system is provided which allows a change of the cutting nozzle and the heating nozzle on the burner head without tools very quickly. The nozzle change can thus be efficiently automated.
The required during operation of the cutting torch contact pressure of the heating nozzle to the burner head is expediently realized by the surface pressure of an O-ring in the vertical direction according to
The provided for changing the nozzle quick release can be realized in a first embodiment according to claim 4 by at least one dowel pin protruding from a lower outer shell portion of the burner head, and by at least one bayonet groove in the upper portion of the cap-like heating nozzle or the outer cap, in which bayonet the Engaging pin engages.
In a second embodiment of the quick release is a particularly reliable connection of the heating nozzle and the cutting nozzle with the Torch head according to
Both the first embodiment and the second embodiment of the quick release require no expensive locking mechanisms that would be operated at a nozzle change.
As production-favorable, the bayonet groove or bayonet grooves are formed from a fixing body, which is fixed in the upper portion of the cap-like heating nozzle according to claim 6.
It is expressly understood that the arrangement of the dowel pins and the bayonet grooves on the burner head or on the cap-like heating nozzle can also be reversed, while maintaining the same quick-change facility.
In both the first embodiment and the second embodiment of the quick release, when dimensioning the bayonet groove (s) according to claim 7 up to a quarter of the inner circumference of the upper portion of the cap-like heating nozzle or the outer cap, the cap-like heating nozzle or the outer nozzle for nozzle change by a quarter turn manually without tools are released from the burner head, the cutting nozzle can be easily pulled out. Analogously vice versa, the attachment of the cutting nozzle and the heating nozzle on the burner head by attaching these two parts from below under application of sufficient contact pressure and a quarter turn in the opposite sense as to To solve. The dimensioning of the bayonet groove (s) according to
In another embodiment of the closure according to
The same advantageous measures as claimed in
As noted above, the cutting torch according to the invention can be realized according to
But it is also possible to carry out the invention with a cap-like Heizdüsenanordnung comprising according to
In this composite cap-like Heizdüsenanordnung the first connection element of the quick release, which cooperates with the second connecting element on the lower outer shell portion of the burner head, fixed to the outer cap inside. The first annular bearing surface on the lower outer shell portion of the burner head in this case only indirectly opposite second annular bearing surface, which is formed from the outer cap, supports a collar at an upper portion of the heating nozzle. On the collar a sealing bearing surface for the O-ring is formed, which is thus arranged between the first bearing surface and indirectly the second bearing surface.
The materials constituting the heating nozzle on the one hand and the outer cap on the other hand may be selected according to the requirements of these constituents of the cap-like heating nozzle arrangement, e.g. for the heating nozzle copper and for the outer cap steel.
The seal of the space formed in the heating nozzle to the outside could be further secured in all embodiments by each of a cylindrical sealing surface according to
The insertable into the cutting nozzle receiving cylindrical upper portion of the cutting nozzle preferably carries according to claim 11, two O-rings in the axial distance, which not only the sealing of the cutting nozzle or the cutting oxygen channel is improved, but also the cutting nozzle is axially aligned in the cutting nozzle holder.
