Device for the built-in fastening of sanitary elements, particularly to walls, said device being essentially formed from a mounting rail (11), preferably made of metal, and carrier plates (19) for sanitary elements, wherein the mounting rail (11) has numerous bores, slots or the like intended for wall fastening and also for fastening the carrier plates (19), and wherein the two longitudinal edges (13a, 13b) of the rail are constructed as fastening regions that are spaced apart from the fastening plane, characterised in that at least one longitudinal edge (13a) of the rail has numerous notches, slots, slits or the like (14); that screws (25) and abutment blocks (26) are provided; and that the carrier plates (19) are provided with bores (23) which correspond with respect to the notches, slots, slits or the like (14) and in which there are arranged screws (25) which are locked by means of the abutment blocks (26), the carrier plates (19) arriving in a defined pre-assembly position as a result of the hooking of the threaded shanks of the screws (25) into the notches, slots, slits or the like (14) in the mounting rail (11).
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the other longitudinal edge (13b) of the rail is provided with bores (15) for fastening the carrier plates (19).
  3. Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the notches, slots, slits or the like (14) in the one longitudinal edge (13a) of the rail and/or the bores in the other longitudinal edge (13b) of the rail are at an identical distance (b) from one another.
  4. Device for the built-in fastening of sanitary elements, particularly to walls, according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that two or more mounting rails (11) are fastened, one behind another or at right angles to one another, by means of fastening strips (28) arranged in the region of the longitudinal edges (13a, 13b) of the rails in the notches (14) or bores (15) that are present.
  5. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the fastening region (21) of the carrier plate (19) is at a distance (d, dx) from the wall abutment region (12) of the mounting rail (11) that is varied in dependence upon the overall depth of built-in fittings (24) and end fittings (31 - 34).
  6. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the mounting rail (11) for wall fastening is provided, at specific intervals, with slots which are arranged at right angles to one another and which serve for precise orientation of said mounting rail (11).
