Abstract
Frein à disque, notamment pour un véhicule utilitaire. Il comprend un étrier de frein (1) engageant en recouvrement un disque de frein (3). Il comprend également un dispositif de serrage (2) par lequel, au moyen d'au moins une broche de translation (11) guidée dans l'étrier de frein (1) et en coopération avec un élément presseur (7), une garniture de frein (4) peut être pressée contre le disque de frein (3). Entre l'élément presseur (7) et l'étrier de frein (1), la broche de translation (11) est entourée par un soufflet déformable (9) qui présente terminalement un joint d'étanchéité élastique (10) pourvu d'une bague de soutien (12) à rigidité propre. Ce joint d'étanchéité (10) est maintenu en ajustement serré dans une ouverture de sortie (13) de l'étrier de frein (1) ou d'une pièce fixée sur ce dernier. Selon l'invention, le frein à disque est conçu de telle sorte que la bague de soutien (12) et le joint d'étanchéité (10) s'appliquent directement et périphériquement contre la paroi de l'ouverture de sortie (13).
