Description

The invention relates to a protective helmet system for technical and medical support services, fire fighting, indoor fire fighting, forest fire fighting and mountain, water and altitude rescue services, comprising a base helmet, a head ring, a shock-absorbing element with Beriemung and a helmet shell.

In the WO 03/086126 A1 the inventor has set the task of developing a helmet that is to adapt to various requirements, such as emergency services medical services and firefighting, etc. and equipped with a variety of protective equipment for the helmet wearer. The invention discloses to solve the problem, the construction of a helmet system, which is composed of three units. The first claimed unit is a base helmet with a trench above the top of the head with ventilation and ventilation windows, a back edge and side edges, and a rim at the front of the base helmet to protect the wearer. The second claimed unit is a C-shaped rigid extension which can be hooked to the neck guard of the wearer at the back edge and side edges of the base helmet. The third unit is a so-called crown crest, which can be secured with a hinge bolt via a hinge located at the rear edge of the base helmet, pivotally over the top of the base helmet and in a slot opening on the front portion of the base helmet in the bottom of the trench can be engaged and disengaged and with which the ventilation and ventilation openings in the trench of the base helmet to close or open. An opening is arranged on both sides of the base elbow, via which the C-shaped extension part can be screwed by way of two hooks arranged on the base and additional parts such as an integral sight which can be lowered underneath the base shell and a lamp.

Although this helmet consists of only a few parts, but is of its handling with respect to the connecting elements between the parts, for example with a hinge pin in the neck and with Screw connections for required accessories time consuming. The rigid design of the C-shaped extension part for the neck protection of the wearer is not advantageous. The massive design of the base helmet for all applications also contributes to a high basis weight of the helmet.

The WO 2005/034667 A1 is based on a two-layer helmet, which is to wear individually or in combination depending on the application and is equipped with a connection mechanism. It was the task of the solution to find a particularly user-friendly connection mechanism for a fire helmet. The solution discloses and claims a fire helmet comprising a base helmet shell which is portable on its own and which has a mechanism for allowing a custom outer helmet to be placed on the inner protection shell during use of the base helmet shell, a lever disposed in the outer helmet in a loop Engage in the inner shell and if necessary by a clip on both sides of the outer helmet to release this connection again and remove the outer helmet again. In the inner protective shell a recess is formed, in which an eye protection is retractable. Additional parts such as a full visor are arranged in the outer helmet with a lever mechanism and to move only with a laterally arranged on the outer helmet lever. A neck protector must be hung on the lower edge of the outer helmet. Also on the outer helmet slots are laterally arranged to receive an oxygen device. Even a lamp can only be arranged laterally on the outer helmet.

The problem of this two-layer helmet is, above all, that for each accessory a special fastening system must be used and that these fastening systems are arranged only on the outer helmet. The use of accessories, such as a lamp of an oxygen mask, a full visor are only usable when the outer helmet is put on. The outer helmet also has a molded extension in one piece and can not be used as a half-shell helmet. Overall, the helmet is heavy and only applicable on one side due to its many device and connecting elements.

It was therefore an object of the invention to design a protective helmet system that has little separate items with versatile combination ability, is convertible with little time and provides accessories for versatile applications available.

The object is achieved by a protective helmet system with the characterizing features of claim 1. Particularly noteworthy is that the base helmet has a massive shock absorbing element with air openings and with a Randausformung over the front and neck area of the helmet wearer and a support member and the shock absorbing element by means of Randausformung in the support member is clamped, via the head ring, in the Stoßdämfpungselement is mounted, any Beriemung can be arranged. The clamping connection for the production of the base helmet by means of a clamping technique without additional holding and fastening means creates a base helmet of very light weight but great effectiveness against shock. The assembly is manageable and easy to handle. The basic helmet is to be supplemented by the head ring with any straps. On the support part a clampable or plug-in fastening element can be arranged on both sides, via which a retractable full sight, a grating visor, a holder for a sliding ear defenders, a respirator, a receiving plate for a headset and the helmet shell to connect to the support member.

Of considerable advantage is the construction of the carrier part according to the invention according to claim 2, that is formed from a front support member and a rear support member, at the ends of each a round opening and a raised contour is formed over the two carrier elements engage and rotatably engageable. This design in turn requires no conventional fasteners, which simplifies the installation and designed inexpensively and contributes to the lightweight of the base helmet.

In addition, the rear support member, according to claim 3, on both sides of a round opening and a rectangular opening for receiving the fastener for all accessories that are needed on a versatile as needed protective helmet. The further embodiment of the rear support member, according to claim 4, also allows the inclusion of a foldable or retractable neck guard and protects and conceals the shock absorbing element in the direction of the neck. The rear support member of the support member according to the invention is then together with the fastener, the sole connection part for all on the base helmet attachable accessories and the helmet shell, all connections are only plugged or clamped.

In addition, the front support member of the support member with its structural form according to claim 5 has the advantage that the front edge region, in particular the end region of the shock absorbing element and thus the base helmet is protected. In addition, the wide face to Rangkennzeichnung the helmet wearer can be used.

Of particular advantage, this basic arrangement of the protective helmet system is also because the helmet shell in their design, according to claim 7, as half shell, three-quarter shell or full shell executable and due to their arranged on both sides round and rectangular openings, according to claim 8, no further additional parts needed and can be arranged on the support member via the same fasteners, as most other accessories also. The helmet shell is a one-piece molding made of a lightweight and heat-resistant material and like the base helmet of very low weight.

The design of the shock absorbing element according to claim 9, with a recess on the top of the head not only allows the sinking of a full visor and the cover of the shock absorbing element in the upper head area in particular, when the base helmet is used without helmet shell. The shock-absorbing element, contributes by its preferably used material, PU foam, also to the fact that the protective helmet system according to the invention over known helmet systems achieved an optimum overall weight.

Finally, the congruent embodiment of the round and rectangular openings on the rear support member and on the helmet shell and the clamping opening and the receiving opening on the fastener, according to claim 10, contributes to the fact that only one fastener is required for all compounds.
