Abstract

Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zu Grunde, ein Verfahren zur Verfügung zu stellen, mit dem der Auftrag von Konversionsmedien auf die Oberflächen von Aluminium oder eine Aluminiumlegierung aufweisenden Substraten verbessert werden kann. Die Aufgabe wird mit einem Verfahren gelöst, das die folgenden Verfahrensschritte umfasst:
Zuführen eines flüssigen Konversionsmediums von einer Medienvorlage zu mindestens einem Zerstäuber,
Zerstäuben des flüssigen Konversionsmediums in feine Tröpfchen, Anlegen einer elektrischen Spannung zwischen dem Zerstäuber und der mindestens einen Oberfläche des Substrats mittels einer Spannungsversorgung,
Aufsprühen des das Konversionsmedium aufweisenden Sprühnebels auf die mindestens eine Oberfläche des Substrats, so dass das Konversionsmedium mit der mindestens einen Oberfläche des Aluminium oder eine Aluminiumlegierung aufweisenden Substrats chemisch reagiert und somit eine Konversionsschicht ausgebildet wird. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin eine Vorrichtung zum Aufbringen eines flüssigen Konversionsmediums auf ein Aluminium oder eine Aluminiumlegierung aufweisendes Substrat.
