In den Fig.1, 3 und 5 bis 7 wird deutlich, dass die Strömungsführungswände 5 der Homogenisiereinrichtung 3 eine gitterförmige Struktur aufweisen. Der Strahlformer 1 kann von der Auslaufseite einer sanitären Auslaufarmatur her in den Wasserauslauf eingeschoben und dort auch mit Hilfe der Ringdichtung 10 in Presssitz gehalten werden. In den Randbereichen 7, 8 werden zwei mehr oder weniger stark ausgeprägte Leitstrahlen ausgeformt, zwischen denen sich anschließend ein stabiler Wasserfilm bilden kann. Die randseitigen Leitstrahlen und der im Längsmittelbereich 9 der Strömungsführung 6 befindliche Wasserfilm können mehr oder weniger stark variieren, was sich durch die verschiedenen "knochenförmigen" Restriktionskonturen des Strahlformers 1 erreichen lässt. Die auf der Zuströmseite des Strahlformers 1 vorgesehene Homogenisiereinrichtung hat die Aufgabe, den Strahl zu homogenisieren und ein glasklares Strahlbild, ohne störende Turbulenzen, zu formen, welche andernfalls die Transparenz des Wasserstrahls ungünstig beeinflussen könnten. Der Strahlformer 1 wirkt einem frühzeitigen Kollabieren des darin erzeugten Wasserstrahls wirkungsvoll entgegen, wobei mit Hilfe des Strahlformers 1 eine glatte Strahloberfläche und ein transparentes, klares Strahlbild erreichbar ist.In the Fig.1, 3 and 5 to 7 it is clear that the flow guide walls 5 of the homogenizer 3 have a lattice-shaped structure. Claims (8)

  1. Jet former (1) which can be inserted in the water outlet (2) of a sanitary outflow fitting and has at least one homogenising device (3) with a plurality of throughflow holes (4) each of which is bounded by flow guiding walls (5), wherein for producing a flat strip-like water jet the jet former (1) has a jet width (1) that is greater than the jet depth (t), and wherein upstream or downstream of the at least one homogenising device (3) is provided a flow guide (6) that tapers in the manner of a nozzle in the direction of throughflow, at least in one partial region, characterised in that the flow guide (6) comprises, on both sides of its longitudinal extent, edge regions (7, 8) having a greater cross-section of flow by comparison with the central longitudinal region (9), as a result of which a high-volume leading flow is produced at the edges in each of the corner regions, these leading flows located in the corner regions being connected to one another by a central film of flow.
  2. Jet former according to claim 1, characterised in that the flow guide (6) has an internal cross-sectional contour in the shape of a bone at its outflow end.
  3. Jet former according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that in the flow guide (6) a strip-like water jet can be produced which comprises on both sides in the edge regions (7, 8) a jet region with a greater volume flow by comparison with the central longitudinal region (9) and between these flow regions (7, 8) a film of water that joins them together.
  4. Jet former according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the jet former (1) can be releasably inserted in the water outlet (2) of the outflow fitting and is preferably held there by frictional engagement.
  5. Jet former according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the jet former (1) carries, around its circumferential wall, a circumferential annular seal (10) which is preferably secured in an external groove (11) on the circumferential wall.
  6. Jet former according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the homogenising device (3) can be inserted releasably in the jet former (1).
  7. Jet former according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the flow guide walls (5) of the homogenising device (6) form a lattice- or grid-shaped or honeycomb-like structure.
  8. Jet former according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the jet former (1) is constructed as a sanitary insert and can be releasably inserted in the water outlet (2) of an outflow fitting.
