Abstract

Die Erfindung beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Entkokung eines Spaltofens (1) zur Spaltung von Kohlenwasserstoffen. Während der Entkokung wird in die Spaltrohre (2) und die anschließenden Spaltgaskühler (3) ein Gemisch aus Luft und Wasserdampf geschickt. Während der Entkokung wird dabei die Strahlungszone (1a) des Spaltofens (1) über die Brenner (4) auf einer Temperatur von ca. 1100°C gehalten. Das dabei entstehende Entkokungsabgas (5) wird zu einem Zyklonabscheider (6) geleitet. Vor dem Zyklonabscheider (6) wird Wasser (7) in regelmäßigen Zeitabständen in das Entkokungsabgas (5) eingedüst. Im Zyklonabscheider (6) werden feste Partikel, wie beispielsweise Kokspartikel oder Staubpartikel, aus dem gasförmigen Entkokungsabgas herausgetrennt (8). Das von festen Bestandteilen befreite Entkokungsabgas (9) wird in den Feuerraum der Strahlungszone (1a) des Spaltofens (1) geführt. Bei den dort herrschenden Tempertauren wird das im Entkokungsabgas (9) noch vorhandene Kohlenmonoxid nahezu vollständig zu Kohlendioxid umgewandelt. Das, dem Spaltofen entweichende, Abgas (10) ist somit nunmehr befreit von Koks- bzw. Staubpartikeln und Kohlenmonoxid.
