Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Fahrzeugrückhaltesystem (10) zum Absichern von Verkehrswegen, mit einem ortsfesten Wandabschnitt (12) und einer mit dem Wandabschnitt (12) in einem Überlappungsbereich (22) überlappenden und an diesem angebrachten Schutzplankenkonstruktion (14), wobei die Schutzplankenkonstruktion (14) sich ausgehend vom Überlappungsbereich (22) entlang des Verkehrswegs erstreckt. Bei diesem Fahrzeugrückhaltesystem (10) wird die Systemsteifigkeit dadurch erhöht, dass die Schutzplankenkonstruktion (14) wenigstens ein Anschlusselement (24) umfasst, das einen länglichen Zuglastabschnitt (38) zum Anbringen an der der Fahrbahn zugewandten Seite des Wandabschnitts (12) in dem Überlappungsbereich (22) und einen Aufnahmeabschnitt (44) zum Aufnehmen einer entlang des Verkehrswegs verlaufenden Komponente der Schutzplankenkonstruktion (14) aufweist.
