Definitions
- the invention relates to a stackable module array having at least one support element which can be connected to a support element of a further module array, and to a tray body made of cardboard material which has an access opening on a front wall and a receptacle on at least one side wall in which the support element is arranged.
- the at least one receptacle is formed by a folded and bulging side part connected to the corresponding side wall of the tray body, comprising a rectangular blank having at least four regions hinged together in series by three vertical fold lines and folded along the fold lines, in that two of the regions form a cross-sectionally triangular receptacle and wherein a lateral adhesive flap is articulated to each of the side walls on which a receptacle is arranged at the side facing the access opening via at least one vertical folding line.
- stackable trays have been known for some time. Usually have stackable trays projections, so-called stacking lugs, which are carved out of the material of the side walls of the trays.
- the stacking lugs of a tray can, for example, engage in a tray arranged above it and thus increase the stability of the tray stack and prevent the trays from slipping against each other.
- a disadvantage of these trays, however, is that the stacking lugs are often not very stable and therefore not sufficient in terms of durability.
- the module array comprises a modular body of a one-piece blank with two side walls, which have receptacles in each of which a support element is arranged. Each support element can be connected to a support element of a further module array, so that a plurality of module arrays can be stacked on top of each other.
- the images on the side walls of the module array are formed by tabs, which are articulated via vertical fold lines to the rear wall of the module array. Both the side walls, as well as the front wall and the rear wall of the tray body are formed at least two layers.
- the EP 0 785 136 A1 also shows a stackable module tray or a tray with separate support elements.
- the module array comprises a tray-shaped basic body with a bottom surface, two longitudinal sides and two end faces. In the upper region of the longitudinal sides of the main body openings are provided, at the upper edge of folding tabs are hinged along horizontal fold lines. The folding tabs are folded down around the fold lines, connected to the long sides and form holding and carrying handles. At the end faces of the body reinforcing elements are fixed, each forming two triangular support columns. In the support columns, the support elements can be inserted.
- the invention provides that the two areas of each side part, which are each arranged on one side next to the receptacle, are connected to the corresponding side wall of the tray body and the side adhesive flap is folded along the vertical fold line on the corresponding side part and connected thereto.
- This composite is thus reinforced, and it is prevented that the side part in the access opening facing region releases under load from the side wall and buckling or buckling occurs. Due to the very simple construction of the side part, the production of the module array is simplified, it is also a machine erecting the module array possible. Since an attachment is provided on both sides next to the receptacle, the receptacle can withstand even greater loads. The risk that the recording solves on one side and the support element no longer holds is reduced.
- a favorable embodiment provides that a planar composite between the side part and the corresponding side wall is formed. As a result, an intimate connection between the side part and the side wall is achieved, which withstands even large loads.
- the side part is connected to at least three points distributed over a contact surface between the side part and the corresponding side wall with the corresponding side wall. These three points are preferably distributed over the height and width of the entire contact surface between the side part and the side wall, so that a stable as possible composite is achieved.
- the connection can be achieved for example by adhesive dots or other fastening means, for example brackets.
- the side part is glued to the entire side of the corresponding side wall at a contact surface between the side part and the corresponding side wall.
- the full-surface bonding is achieved with the usual bonding in the packaging sector.
- the application of the adhesive along a line is sufficient. In this way, a particularly stable composite is achieved, forces occurring under load are transmitted evenly from the side part to the side wall. The buckling of individual areas of the side wall or the side part are avoided.
- a further embodiment provides that two mutually opposite side walls of the tray body are each connected to a side part forming a receptacle. It is achieved by a symmetrical design of the module array, which facilitates the stackability and allows a good distribution of the loads occurring.
- the recordings protrude into the interior of the tray body and the respective side walls of the tray body each close one side of the receptacle.
- the module tray has smooth outer walls without protrusions, whereby good stackability, e.g. on pallets, is achieved and so the transport is simplified.
- each side part may comprise at least one further area, which is articulated in series to the first areas of the side part via a further vertical fold line and is folded over the corner along this vertical fold line, so that the further area is connected to a rear wall of the tray body between the two side walls with the recordings.
- This reinforcement of the corners of the module array provides additional stability.
- each side part comprises two further areas, which are articulated in series over two further vertical fold lines to the first areas of the side part and folded on the vertical fold lines, that one of the areas spaced from a corner of the tray body, at which abuts the respective side wall to a rear wall of the tray body, transverse and the second areas is connected to this rear wall.
- each of the side walls, on which a receptacle is arranged has a horizontal cover flap with a receiving opening for the support element, and the cover flap is arranged parallel to a bottom surface of the tray body. In this way, an increased contact surface for the next module array is achieved, thereby easier to stack on the underlying module array.
- each Abdecklasche rests on the respective receptacle, wherein the opening in the Abdecklasche is arranged above the receptacle.
- the cover flap is supported by the receptacle from below and does not bend under load.
- each cover flap comprises an adhesive flap, which is connected to a rear wall of the module array.
- the cover flap is not only connected to the respective side wall, but also to the rear wall and is additionally supported.
- the front wall is divided by at least one horizontal fold line in two halves and folded on the at least one horizontal fold line, so that one of the halves folded into the interior of the tray body and secured to the other half, wherein both sides of the lying in the interior of the tray body half via a respective vertical fold line each side adhesive flap is articulated, the side adhesive flaps are connected to the receptacles having side walls and adjacent to the access opening facing the region of the respective side part.
- the adhesive tabs of the front wall and the respective side parts thus adjoin one another and support each other, so that it is avoided that the respective side part can slip under load forward toward the access opening.
- the at least one support elements is a cardboard tube having at both ends lugs.
- the module tray then consists of a single-substance composite, which facilitates recycling.
- the shoulders at both ends of the support elements are preferably complementary, whereby one end of a support element engages in the next support element and the stacking of the module array is facilitated. But it can also be used dull overlying support elements.
- the joint is then preferably arranged in the interior of the receptacle.
- a blank 2 of the tray body 3 of the module array 1 is shown.

- the regions 33 of the respective side parts 32 are therefore also set back slightly on the side wall 6.1, 6.2.
- the length of the adhesive tabs 16.1, 16.2 corresponds exactly to this reset distance, so that one edge of the adhesive tabs 16.1, 16.2 rests against an edge of the regions 33.
- the rear wall 8 is connected to the fastening tabs 23.1, 23.2 of the respective side walls 6.1, 6.2.
- a substantially cuboidal tray body 3 is formed, which has an access opening in the region of the front wall 11, since the front wall 11 has a smaller height than the side walls 6.1, 6.2 and the rear wall 8.
- the hinged to the side walls 6.1, 6.2 cover plates 19.1, 19.2 are folded along the fold lines 18.1, 18.2 to the interior of the tray body 3, until it on the formed by the areas 34, 35 of the side member 32 shots 44.1, 44.2 and by the areas 37th the side parts 32 formed corner stiffeners come to rest.
- the adhesive tabs 21.1, 21.2 of the cover tabs 19.1, 19.2 are folded down along the folding lines 20.1, 20.2, and glued to the fastening tabs 23.1, 23.2 of the side walls 6.1, 6.2.
- the rear wall 8 has for the recesses 9.1, 9.2, so that the adhesive tabs 21.1, 21.2 lie in a plane with the rear wall 8.
- receiving openings 30.1, 30.2 of the cover plates 19.1, 19.2 are arranged on the receiving openings 29.1, 29.2 in the bottom 4 and opened into the interior of the receptacles 44.1, 44.2.
- the support elements 45.1, 45.2 introduced into the receptacles 44.1, 44.2 and held in this.
- the erection steps are well machine feasible.
- the module array 1 is therefore preferably erected by machine.
- the support elements 45.1, 45.2 are preferably formed by paperboard tubes.
- the cardboard tubes each have a lug at both ends.
- the lugs are formed so that the paperboard tubes have at their upper end a smaller outer diameter, at its lower end, however, an enlarged inner diameter, which corresponds exactly to the outer diameter of the upper ends.
- the cover plates 19.1, 19.2 form a bearing surface for the module array 1 arranged above it. Due to the ausbeuls-safe connection of the side parts 32 with the side walls 6.1, 6.2, the module tray 1 has a high Stapelstauchwiderstand.
- Fig. 4 is a section through the module array 1 along the line IV-IV Fig. 3 shown.
- Fig. 4 is therefore a representation of the side wall 6.2 with the attached thereto Side part 32.
- the side wall 6.1 with the attached side part 32 is constructed analogously.
- the side part 32 is folded along the vertical fold lines 39, 40, 41, 42, 43 so that the areas 33 and 36 are parallel to the side wall 6.2 and connected thereto, for example by adhesive dots.
- the areas 34 and 35 are folded into the interior of the module array 1, so that they each include a 45 ° angle with the side wall 6.2 and each other about a 90 ° angle.
- the areas 34 and 35 of the side part 32 therefore have approximately the same width.
- the areas 34, 35 form a receptacle which is hollow on the inside and into which a support element 45.2 can be inserted through the receiving openings 30.2, 29.2 in the cover flap 19.2 of the side wall 6.2 and the bottom 4.
- the receptacle 44.2 formed by the regions 34 and 35 of the side part 32 is connected to the side wall 6.2 on both sides, that is to say over the first region 33 of the side part 32 and over the fourth region 36 of the side part 32, the receptacle 44.2 also has a load high stability.
- the area 36 of the side part 32 is wider than the area 33, which is why the connection in this area has a higher strength.
- an adhesive flap 25.2 is hinged to the side wall 6.2 via at least one fold line 27.2, 28.2, folded on the area 33 and connected thereto.
- the region 33 of the side part 32 is thus at least partially surrounded on both sides by the side wall 6.2 and the hinged adhesive flap 25.2, whereby also a higher strength is achieved.
- the region 38 of the side part 32 runs parallel to the rear wall 38 of the module array 1, the region 37 connects the regions 36 and 38 and therefore extends transversely through the interior of the module array 1. This results in the corner of the module array 1 is a kind of hollow column, the leads to additional stabilization.
- the cover flap 19.2 of the side wall 6.2 is folded along the fold line 18.2, which extends horizontally, into the interior of the module array 1 and rests on the receptacle 44.2 and on the upper edge of the region 37 of the side part 32.
- the cover flap 19.2 therefore forms a support for a further module array, which can be arranged on the first module array.
- the cover tab 19.2 is supported by the receptacle 44.2 and the area 37 of the side part 32.
- the rear wall 8 and the side wall 6.2 have approximately the same height, the front wall 11 has a substantially lower height, so that an access opening is formed in the region of the front wall 11, through which products are easily removed from the module tray 1 can.
- the first region 33 of the side part 32 and the adhesive flap 25.2 are arranged slightly set back from the front wall 11, so that a lateral access into the module tray 1 is possible.
- a glued flap 16.2 is hinged on a fold line 17.2 and connected to the side wall 6.2. The outer edge of this adhesive flap 16.2 is adjacent to the outer edge of the first portion 33 of the side part 32.
- the area 33 is supported from the front and can not slip forward under load.
