Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a presentation container according to the preamble of claim 1, a blank according to claim 7 and a method for producing a presentation container according to claim 10.
  • a manufactured by folding packaging container is for example from the EP-A-1 657 164 known.
  • the packaging disclosed therein comprises a body part and two separately manufactured side parts arranged at opposite ends of the body part.
  • the body part is erected from a flat blank by folding along longitudinally extending fold lines, with the outermost portion on each side forming a longitudinal wall. Sections disposed between floor parts can be erected into partitions.
  • Each of the side panels has a side wall, a bottom flap and side flaps. The bottom flap and side flaps are attached to the bottom parts of the body part.
  • the publication US 4,905,889 shows a container made of cardboard, which has arranged at regular intervals rows for receiving flat objects.
  • a partition which separates the individual rows from one another has inclined walls which, together with inclined wall sections in the side walls, support the articles.
  • the container is made of a punched out piece of cardboard.
  • the patent application EP 0'302'563 A1 discloses a collapsible cup-shaped container made of a stamped sheet.
  • the container has a bottom, front, side and rear walls connected to the bottom along fold lines.
  • the front, side and rear walls are connected to each other at the corresponding corners of the floor via tabs.
  • the container further has an intermediate wall which divides the bottom or the container into two parts.
  • JP 54 60078 A a stage display.
  • Object of the present invention is to provide a container for presentation purposes, which can be made particularly inexpensive and in particular with a small number of steps.
  • the presentation container according to the invention is produced by folding from a single one-piece, forming a base element blank.
  • the one-piece design of the basic element has the advantage that only a single object is processed, in particular folded, for the entire presentation container and a later assembly of individual parts is not necessary. As a result, the number of steps for the preparation of the presentation container is minimized and a cost-effective production possible.
  • edge elements arranged on the outside and in the erected state side walls forming edge elements are formed.
  • the basic element with a nearly rectangular basic shape is subdivided by basic fold lines into at least three basic sections.
  • the base sections extend over an entire length of the base element.
  • At least one base portion, referred to as a wall portion is erectable with respect to an adjacent base portion, referred to as a bottom portion.
  • At least two edge elements arranged on the bottom sections of the base element on the width side which are likewise erected relative to the bottom sections, are brought into abutment flatly and fastened to one another.
  • the at least two edge elements overlap and can be fastened together by a connection, for example an adhesive bond, in their overlapping area.
  • a side wall consisting of two fixedly connected edge elements is formed.
  • Presentation containers 10 also referred to as "displays" on the one hand serve the packaging of goods and on the other hand their presentation to the customers.
  • the two in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 or in Fig. 5 and Figure 6 Embodiments shown are made by folding a punched or cut blank 12.
  • As a material for the blank 12 and thus also for the presentation container 10 cardboard, cardboard, single or multi-walled cardboard, paper, plastics, metal sheets or composites made of synthetic and / or natural fibers, but preferably single or multi-walled boards are used.
  • the blank 10 is substantially flat, ie, its thickness is much smaller than the remaining outer dimensions of the blank 12, and is preferably punched out of a substantially planar sheet or web unwound from a roll.
  • the typical thickness of the blank 12 when using single-walled paperboard, as in the embodiments described herein, is 1 mm to 2 mm. However, blanks 12 of greater thickness can also be used.
  • the in Fig. 1 shown blank 12 has a base member 14 and on the outside six, arranged on dashed Randfaltlinien 16 edge elements 18.
  • the base member 14 has a substantially rectangular basic shape with edge lengths of about 38 cm.
  • the dimensions of the base element 14 and the edge elements 18 may vary and be adapted to the particular application and in particular the size and number of goods to be packaged and presented.
  • the basic element 14 is subdivided into four basic sections 22 along a longitudinal axis L by three basic fold lines 20 drawn as dash-dotted lines.
  • the basic fold lines 20 extend rectilinearly and at least substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis L over the entire length of the base element 14.
  • the base fold lines 20 are notched, perforated or, in particular, at small radii of curvature along the length to simplify a folding operation and prevent uncontrolled tearing of the base element material the Grundfaltlinien 20 are caused when folding, one-sided or multi-sided cut.
  • Fig. 1 shown embodiment along the central Grundfaltline 20 an upper paperboard of the single-walled cardboard, which has a larger radius of curvature in the folded state relative to a lower, not visible here cardboard position, cut.
  • the two middle, adjacent base portions 22 are also referred to as wall portions 24, since they each relative to its outer adjacent base portion 22, due to its Function is also called bottom section 26, are erectile.
  • the central one-sided cut basic fold line 20 is raised with respect to the bottom sections 26 during folding and the floor sections 26 are moved towards each other, so that the wall sections 24 erect and preferably rest against one another flatly.
  • the width which is measured as a projection in the plane of the bottom portions 26 and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis L, shortened.
  • the two adjoining wall sections 24 form one of the in Fig. 1 shown paper plane protruding and adjacent to the two bottom portions 26 partition 28th
  • the partition wall 28 divides the finished presentation container 10 into two compartments 30 into which goods to be packaged and presented can be placed on the floor sections 26.

  • 30 n bottom sections 26 and 2 x (n-1) wall sections 24 must be formed on the base element 14 for the provision of n compartments.
  • the bottom portions 26 each have a same width. Alternatively, it is of course also possible to form bottom sections 26 with different widths.
  • the two wall sections 24 also have a same width. The width of the two adjacent wall sections 24 determines the height of the partition wall 28. Consequently, a certain height requirement can be met by the partition 28 by adjusting the width of the adjacent wall sections 24.
  • the adjacent wall portions 24 are formed the same width, is located after a folding to form the partition 28, the adjacent floor portions 26 in a common plane. This common level leads to a secure state of the presentation container 10 on a base.
