Abstract

Disclosed is a hand strap (5) for a pole, most preferably for a ski pole, Nordic walking pole, cross-country skiing pole, or hiking stick, comprising an insertion hole (11) for the hand, a first outlet (8) for the back of the hand, and a second outlet (6) for the thumb. The hand strap (5) is at least indirectly fastened to a pole grip (2) by means of a strip (34) that is guided between the thumb and the other fingers. The hand strap (5) is provided with a variably attachable first fastening device (7, 9) in the area located between the insertion hole (11) for the hand and the first outlet (8) for the back of the hand. Description

TECHNICAL AREA

The present invention relates to a hand strap for a stick, particularly preferably for a ski pole, a Nordic walking pole, a cross-country pole or a walking stick. STATE OF THE ART

Sporting activities with the help of sticks are becoming increasingly popular. For example, skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking and more recently especially the so-called Nordic Walking.

Significant progress has been made in the field of sticks used in recent times. For example, sticks have been developed in which the hand strap can be releasably attached to the pole grip. For example, in the EP-A-1036579 described. Such constructions make it possible to use hand straps, which are firmly attached to the hand or on the wrist, and which can be released from the stick for a short time, if only a brief interruption of the sporting activity is desired.

Accordingly, the hand straps used have been developed further, for example, as mentioned in the introduction, by attaching such hand straps today, for example via a Velcro on the hand, and, to disturb as little as possible in the sporting activity, very slim or Alternatively, are designed as a whole glove. The US 5,110,154 discloses a ski glove with a band for attaching the glove to the ski pole, wherein a diagonal strap, which has a fixing device for the ski pole, with its free end on the glove back fastened. The DE 94 01 287 U1 discloses a hand strap for a ski pole, wherein the hand strap has a wrist closely enclosing band. A separate, attachable to the hand strap drawstring provides an additional connection between the hand strap and pole handle. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

The invention is therefore u.a. the task is to provide an improved hand strap for a stick. In particular, it is about the improvement of a wrist strap, which is not only laid loosely around the hand or the wrist, but which is firmly connected to the hand. Specifically, it is about improving a hand strap for a stick, particularly preferably for a ski pole, a Nordic walking pole, a cross-country pole or a walking stick, the hand strap has an insertion opening for the hand, a first outlet opening for the back of the hand and a second exit opening for the thumb. The fastening of the wrist strap is carried out on a stick handle of the stick at least indirectly via a run between the thumb and the other fingers strips, and the hand strap has in the area between the insertion opening for the hand and the first outlet opening for the back of a variable fixable first fastening device.

A solution to this problem is solved by the features of claim 1.

The essence of the invention thus consists in that the hand strap is designed to be variable not only in the area between the insertion opening for the hand and the first outlet opening for the back of the hand but also in the area between the insertion opening for the hand and the second outlet opening for the thumb. It should be noted that apart from the two mentioned ranges, the wrist strap is preferably made of a substantially non-stretchable material (e.g., plastic web support or the like), i. it is preferably not a wrist strap (made of neoprene, for example) that is designed to be completely stretchy, since for sports applications it normally does not permit sufficient power transmission. If, nevertheless, the hand strap is designed to be stretch-soft, the two regions are not only variable but can be fixed in variability, e.g. via Velcro straps. The loop may also be designed so that it is designed as a whole stretch soft, (for example, neoprene), but has an integral reinforcement, for example in the form of externally sewn especially in the direction of pull tapes or strips of a substantially non-stretchable material.

As a result of extensive studies, it has been found that a hand strap can be optimally adapted to different hands only if both areas, ie in the area between the insertion opening for the hand and the first outlet opening for the back of the hand and in the area between the insertion opening for the hand and the second outlet opening is designed variable for the thumb. Hand loops according to the prior art, in which in the area between the insertion opening for the hand and the second outlet opening for the thumb, a structure is formed, which can not be changed, can not adapt to different shapes and sizes of hands enough. In addition, hand straps are not only used with bare hands, but also with gloves that require a larger fit of the loop. This is not possible or only to a very limited extent in the case of hand-fixable hand loops according to the prior art.

By contrast, the hand strap proposed according to the invention allows adaptation for use with or without gloves. The proposed hand strap is thus much more flexible both in terms of adaptation to different hand sizes and hand shapes as well as in relation to the use with or without gloves, respectively, for use with different gloves.

According to a first preferred embodiment of the invention, the area between the insertion opening for the hand and the second outlet opening for the thumb is at least partially (rubber) elastic. It may, but need not, be fixable in its maximum extent. It can be configured to be fixable, for example, in that the area between the insertion opening for the hand and the second outlet opening for the thumb has a variably fixable second fastening device. Fixable can on the one hand mean that, for example, in the presence of an additional rubber-elastic range, only the maximum extent of this range is limited, on the other hand can also mean that this area is inflexible. Such a second fastening device is preferably arranged on the outside of the wrist strap, while, if present, the rubber-elastic region is arranged underneath.

Preferably, the first and / or the second fastening device is designed as a webbing with Velcro fasteners. These can either be fastened on one side of the respective area and fixed on the other side via a hook-and-loop fastener, or else it is possible, as preferred, to fix these straps on the first side of the respective area (eg sew on, glue, etc.). ) to loop on the other side by a fastened to this other side mounting bracket and back to lead back to the first page and fix there with a Velcro connection.

A further preferred embodiment is characterized in that the area between the insertion opening for the hand and the second outlet opening for the thumb is designed as a rubber-elastic webbing or rubber-elastic strip having a width in the range of 0.5-4 cm, preferably 1-2 cm. Such a rubber-elastic webbing can be combined with an additional webbing with Velcro as explained above, or the rubber-elastic webbing itself can be provided with a hook and loop fastener.

An increased wearing comfort can be achieved by the area between the insertion opening for the hand and the second outlet opening for the thumb on the outside and / or inside has a sewn-on neoprene cover, which preferably has no connection to non-elastic regions of the hand strap. Incidentally, the inside of the wrist strap can generally be covered or sewn with a layer of neoprene.

To attach such a hand strap on the pole handle different possibilities are conceivable. Preferably, a coupling element is provided for attaching the hand strap on the pole grip on the strip of the hand strap, which can be self-locking in or on the pole grip in a releasable mechanism attached. In Fig. 1 is a view of a hand strap, which is attached to the pole handle, shown. The stick 1 comprises a stick tube 3 and at its upper end a stick handle 2. At the lower end of the stick usually a specifically designed tip is provided (not shown in the figures). Such a stick is used, for example, as a ski pole, as a Nordic walking stick, as a cross-country pole or as a walking stick.

The stick handle 2 is made of a hard plastic or cork or a combination of such materials, for example in an injection molding process. In the present case, the pole grip 2 also has a region 24 with a grip-friendly coating, for example made of neoprene, rubber, foam, cork material or the like. The head portion of the pole grip 2, however, is designed such that the plastic is exposed. The head portion of the stick handle is shaped to include a dome 22 which is offset from the head portion of the stick handle via a slot 21. Introduced into this slot 21 loop 16 of the hand strap 5 can be fixed self-locking in this slot 21, by a retaining lug 25 which is integrally formed on a mounted in the head of the stick handle fixing. The fixing element is acted upon by a spring force and has at its upper end via a release button 4, with which it can be reset against this spring force. If the release button 4 is actuated, the fixing element tilts about a horizontal axis 23 and the retaining lug 25 moves out of the slot 21, so that the fastening loop 16 of the hand strap 5 can be removed from the slot again.

The actual hand strap 5 is designed such that it can be fixed and secured to the user's hand. For this purpose, the hand strap has three openings, namely via an insertion opening 11 in the hand strap for insertion of the hand, via an opening 8 for the back of the hand and a thumb opening 6, which is generally designed as the smallest opening Fig. 1 is the opening 8 of the hand strap for the back of the hand facing the viewer, and the thumb hole is facing away from the viewer. It is therefore a hand strap for the left hand. The hand strap thus has a strip-like region, which is composed of the non-elastic region indicated by the reference numeral 20, which is arranged on the back of the hand between the thumb and fingers, which integrally merges into the strip 34 between thumb and fingers, and which subsequently in the non-elastic, indicated by the reference numeral 19 range, which comes to rest on the palm of the hand. These areas 20, 34 and 19 are preferably provided on their inside with a neoprene insert 32, that is, it is a layer of neoprene either sewn or glued to the actual non-elastic support material, which may for example consist of a plastic fabric.

This strip now has two variable connection areas. The one variable area is the area between the back of the hand 8 and the hand insertion opening 11. In this area, a first Velcro strip 7 is provided for adjusting and securing the hand strap to the hand. This Velcro strip is a webbing 12 on which two complementary Velcro areas are applied on the outside, namely a first Velcro area 13 in the end and a second Velcro area of complementary type in that area in which this first Velcro strip 7 with the hand strap sewn (in Fig. 1 below). In order to further increase the wearing comfort in such a variably configured area, it proves to be advantageous to provide an attachment 26, for example made of neoprene with a thickness between 0.4-0.5 mm, on the outside of the hand strap. This attachment 26 is preferably sewn by means of two seams 18, which run perpendicular to the actual rubber-elastic expansion direction of the region 15 and which are arranged on the edge of the region 15, with the elastic band region 17. This neoprene cover prevents the fastening strip 27 from being perceived as unpleasant when the hand strap is worn and thus increases wearing comfort.

Fig. 3a ) finally shows the hand strap in a view in which the insertion opening 11 is directed obliquely downwards forward, the thumb opening points to the right and the opening for the back of the hand to the top left. In other words, the substantially triangular non-elastic region 20 can be recognized very well here. The two mounting brackets 9 and 28 are arranged on this region 20. Fig. 3b ) shows a preferred embodiment of a passage for the Velcro strip 7 in place of a feedthrough bracket 9, as shown in the figures described above. This multi-pass leadthrough bracket 35 has a multiplicity of slots 36 arranged parallel to one another. Depending on the adjustment width of the area, the hook and loop strip 7 is guided through a different slot. In FIG. 3b ) is shown the setting in which the Velcro strip 7 is passed through the bottom slot and thus the farthest setting is realized. If the top slot is used, the narrowest setting results. It is thus possible to make an improved fine adjustment accessible in spite of the larger adjustment range. Claims (8)

1. Hand strap (5) for a stick, particulary preferred for a ski stick, a nordic walking stick, a cross country stick or a hiking stick comprising an insertion opening (11) for the hand, a first exit opening (8) for the back of the hand and a second exit opening (6) for the thumb, wherein the attachment of the hand strap (5) on a stick handle (2) of the stick (1) is effected at least indirectly via a strip (34) guided between thumb and the other fingers, and wherein the hand strap (5) comprises a variably definable first fastening device (7, 9) in the area between insertion opening (11) and first exit opening (8),
