DOMAINE TECHNIQUE
La présente invention a trait à l'utilisation de polymères ou copolymères particuliers en tant qu'agents tensio-actifs pour la stabilisation de latex, en particulier de latex acryliques.
Le domaine général de l'invention est donc celui des latex. Les latex se présentent sous la forme d'une composition comprenant, en suspension, des particules microscopiques de chaînes polymériques dans un milieu liquide continu, le plus souvent aqueux, qui peuvent servir de base, entre autres applications, à des colles, des peintures, des liants pour le textile, des encres (notamment les latex acryliques) .
Pour assurer une stabilité des latex pendant leur synthèse et dans le temps, il est nécessaire d'y incorporer des agents tensio-actifs . Les agents tensio-actifs actuels génèrent souvent des mousses qui, lorsqu'elles sont générées pendant la préparation du latex ou pendant l'utilisation de celui-ci, peuvent conduire à l'encrassement des équipements. Les inventeurs se sont fixé comme but de proposer de nouveaux agents tensio-actifs qui conduisent à une bonne stabilisation des latex, notamment des latex acryliques, et qui génèrent peu ou
pas de mousse lors de la fabrication des latex ou lors de l'utilisation de ceux-ci.

Selon une première alternative, R4 peut être un groupe aryle comprenant, par exemple de 5 à 20 atomes de carbone (par exemple, un groupe phényle) , ledit groupe aryle étant porteur (c'est-à-dire substitué) d'au moins un groupe acide comportant au moins un hétéroatome choisi parmi S et P, ledit groupe acide pouvant exister sous forme d'un sel. A titre d'exemple de groupe acide comportant au moins un hétéroatome choisi parmi S et P, on peut citer un groupe sulfonique, phosphonique, phosphorique ou phosphinique et les sels de ceux-ci.
Selon un deuxième alternative, R4 peut être un groupe hétérocyclique comprenant un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes choisis parmi 0, N et/ou S, tel qu'un groupe pyrrole, pyridine, indole, thiophène, furanne ou pyrimidine, éventuellement porteur d'au moins un groupe acide comportant au moins un hétéroatome choisi parmi S et P tel que défini ci-dessus ou ledit groupe hétérocyclique étant porteur d'un groupe hydrocarboné,
tel qu'un groupe alkyle comportant de 1 à 24 atomes de carbone, comprenant éventuellement un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes, lequel groupe hydrocarboné est substitué une ou plusieurs fois par un groupe acide tel que défini ci-dessus (à savoir un groupe acide comportant au moins un hétéroatome choisi parmi S et P) .
Selon une troisième alternative, R4 peut représenter un groupe -CO-NR-Y ou -CO-O-Y, avec Y représentant un groupe hydrocarboné, tel qu'un groupe alkyle pouvant comprendre de 1 à 24 atomes de carbone, comprenant éventuellement un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes, et substitué par au moins un groupe acide comportant au moins un hétéroatome choisi parmi S et P, tel qu'un groupe sulfonique, phosphonique, phosphorique ou phosphinique . A titre d'exemple de tel groupe Y, on peut citer le groupe -C(CHa)2-CH2-SO3H. Y peut être également un groupe hydrocarboné, tel qu'un groupe alkyle comprenant de 1 à 24 atomes de carbone, comprenant éventuellement un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes, et porteur d'au moins un groupe hétérocyclique comprenant un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes choisis parmi N, 0 et S, tel qu'un groupe imidazole, imidazoline, imidazolidone, pyrazole, triazole, tétrazole, thiadiazole, oxadiazole. Le groupe Y ne peut pas être un groupe alkyle non substitué, dans la mesure où il est forcément substitué par un groupe acide ou un groupe hétérocyclique tels que définis ci-dessus.
Parmi les amorceurs de formule (I), on préfère utiliser tout particulièrement ceux pour lesquelles R4 est un groupe aryle porteur d'au moins un groupe acide comportant au moins un hétéroatome choisi
parmi S et P, ledit groupe acide pouvant exister sous forme d'un sel. En particulier, R4 peut être avantageusement un groupe phénylène porteur d'un groupe -SO3R9, Rg représentant un atome d'hydrogène, un métal choisi parmi les métaux alcalins, les métaux alcalino- terreux, les métaux de transition, en particulier, un métal alcalin (Na, Li, K), ou encore H4N+, Bu4N+, Bu3HN+, Bu représentant un groupe n-butyle.
Un amorceur particulier conforme à l'invention répond à la formule (II) suivante :

Le procédé s'effectue avantageusement dans un milieu comprenant, en particulier, de l'eau. Ce milieu peut être une solution aqueuse ou majoritairement aqueuse ou un milieu dispersé phase
aqueuse/phase organique (dispersion, émulsion, mini- émulsion, micro-émulsion, suspension, micellaire, suspension inverse, émulsion inverse, micro-émulsion inverse) . Les agents tensioactifs présents dans les compositions de l'invention se présentent très avantageusement sous la forme d'un copolymère amphiphile, à savoir un copolymère présentant à la fois des parties hydrophiles et des parties hydrophobes, les parties hydrophiles résultant de la polymérisation d'un ou plusieurs monomères hydrophiles, et les parties hydrophobes résultant de la polymérisation d'un ou plusieurs monomères hydrophobes.
Il est entendu, que les monomères hydrophiles seront, en particulier, des monomères dont les motifs après polymérisation seront différents du motif -CH2-CHR4- présent dans l'amorceur de polymérisation tel que défini ci-dessus.
Le ou les monomères hydrophiles peuvent être choisis parmi :
-les dérives hydrosolubles du styrène tels que le styrène sulfonate de sodium ;

Le ou les monomères hydrophobes peuvent être choisis parmi :
-les monomères vinylaromatiques tels que le styrène, 1' α-méthylstyrène ; -les monomères diéniques, tels que le butadiène, 1' isoprène ;
-les monomères acrylates hydrophobes, tels que l'acrylate d'éthyle, de n-butyle, d' éthylhexyle, de phényle, les acrylates de méthoxypolypropylèneglycol, les acrylates fluorés, les acrylates silylés ;
-les monomères méthacrylates, tels que le méthacrylate de méthyle, de lauryle, de cyclohexyle, d'allyle, de phényle, les méthacrylates de méthoxypolypropylèneglycol, le méthacrylate de 2- (tert- butylamino) éthyle (MATBAE), les méthacrylates fluorés, tels que le méthacrylate de 2, 2, 2-trifluoroéthyle, les méthacrylates silylés tels que le 3- méthacryloylpropyltriméthylsilane ; -1' acrylonitrile ; et les mélanges de ceux-ci.
Un agent tensioactif conforme à l'invention est par exemple un copolymère comprenant des unités hydrophiles issues de la polymérisation de l'acide méthacrylique et des unités hydrophobes issues de la polymérisation du méthacrylate de méthyle.
Le ou les amorceurs de formule (I) peuvent être présents en une teneur allant de 0,005 % à 40 % en poids par rapport au poids total du ou des monomères mis en œuvre et, de préférence, en une teneur allant de 0,01 % à 10 %. Le (s) monomère (s) et/ou l'amorceur de type alcoxyamine peuvent éventuellement être introduits en continu dans le milieu de polymérisation.
Selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention, l'étape de mise en contact peut être mise en œuvre, en plus de l'amorceur de formule (I), en présence d'un amorceur choisi parmi les hydroperoxydes, les peroxydes de dialkyle, les peroxydes de diacyle, les peroxyesters, les peroxydicarbonates, les peroxyacétals ou les composés azoïques. A titre d'exemples d' hydroperoxydes, on peut citer l' hydroperoxyde de tert-butyle,
1' hydroperoxyde de tert-amyle, l'hydroxyde de cumyle, le 2, 5-diméthyl-2, 5-di (hydroperoxy) hexane, le monohydroperoxyde de diisopropylbenzène et 1' hydroperoxyde de paramenthane . A titre d'exemples de peroxydes de dialkyle, on peut citer le 2, 5-diméthyl-2, 5-di ( tert- butylperoxy) hexyne- (3) , le peroxyde de di- tert-butyle, le peroxyde de di- tert-amyle, le 1, 3-di ( tert- butylperoxyisopropyl) benzène, le 2, 5-diméthyl-2, 5- di ( tert-butylperoxy) hexyne, le 1,1,4,4,7,7- hexaméthylcyclo-4 , 7-diperoxynonane, le 3,3,6,6,9,9- hexaméthylcyclo-1, 2,4, 5-tétraoxanonane .
A titre d'exemples de peroxyde de diacyle, on peut citer le peroxyde de benzoyle, le peroxyde de lauroyle, le peroxyde de décanoyle, le peroxyde de 3, 5, 5-triméthylhexanoyle, le peroxyde d' acétyle et de cyclohexyl sulfonyle.

A titre d'exemples de peroxyacétals, on peut citer le 1, 1-di ( tert-butylperoxy) cyclohexane, le 1, 1-di (tert- butylperoxy) 3, 3, 5-triméthylcyclohexane, le 3, 3-di ( tert- butylperoxy) butyrate d'éthyle, le 3, 3-di (tert- amylperoxy) butyrate d'éthyle, le 4, 4-di ( tert- butylperoxy) valérate de n-butyle, le 2,2-di( tert- butylperoxy) butane, le 1, 1-di (tert- amylperoxy) cyclohexane, le 2, 2-bis [4, 4-di ( tert- butylperoxy) cyclohexyl ] propane . L'étape de mise en contact peut être également mise en œuvre en présence d'oxydants minéraux tels que les persulfates de sodium, potassium ou ammonium, l'eau oxygénée, les perchlorates, les percarbonates, les sels ferriques. Ces oxydants peuvent être utilisés seuls ou en combinaison avec des réducteurs minéraux ou organiques tels que le bisulfite et le métabisulfite de sodium ou de potassium, la vitamine C, les hypophosphites de sodium ou de potassium. Ces réducteurs organiques ou minéraux peuvent également être utilisés seuls, c'est-à-dire, en absence d'oxydants minéraux.
Le procédé de l'invention peut comprendre une étape de préparation in-situ de l'amorceur de formule (I), de préférence, avant l'étape de mise en contact . j D'un point de vue structural, les agents tensio-actifs, outre les unités répétitives issues de la polymérisation des monomères, présentent au moins une extrémité réactive présentant la formule suivante :
Ri, R2, R.3 et R4 étant tels que définis ci-dessus.
Les polymères ou copolymères présenteront en particulier un motif de formule -CH2-CHR4- issue de l' alcoxyamine présent en extrémité de chaînes, les autres motifs résultant de la polymérisation des monomères, lesquels motifs seront différents dudit motif-CH2-CHR4-.
Ce polymère ou copolymère présentant une telle extrémité réactive peut être amené à subir une transformation chimique de cette extrémité par réaction de celle-ci avec des réactifs appropriés.
Les latex présents dans les compositions de l'invention peuvent être des latex obtenus par polymérisation en émulsion, en particulier des latex de type émulsion à gonflement par alcalinité, plus connus sous le nom de latex ASE (correspondant à la terminologie anglaise « Alkali Swellable Emulsions ») .
A titre d'exemple de latex ASE, on peut citer :
-le latex obtenu par polymérisation en émulsion en milieu aqueux d'acide méthacrylique, d' acrylate d'éthyle, de phtalate de diallyle ;
-le latex obtenu par polymérisation en émulsion en milieu aqueux d'acide méthacrylique, de styrène, d' éthylène glycol diméthacrylate ;
-le latex obtenu par polymérisation en émulsion en milieu aqueux d'acide méthacrylique, de méthacrylate de méthyle, de phtalate de diallyle.
Ces latex ont la particularité de présenter des propriétés épaississantes.
Ces compositions peuvent être préparées par mélange du copolymère tensioactif avec les monomères précurseurs du latex, suivi d'une étape de polymérisation desdits monomères. L'agent tensioactif peut être préparé in-situ préalablement à l'ajout des monomères, de même que l'amorceur nécessaire à la synthèse de l'agent tensioactif.
Les compositions conformes à l'invention peuvent être utilisées dans tous les domaines utilisant des latex, à savoir le domaine de la peinture, du textile, de la cosmétique, du papier, des revêtements de sols, de la construction, de la décoration.
Plus particulièrement, les compositions de l'invention peuvent être utilisées comme dispersants dans des compositions cosmétiques, des compositions de peinture, des compositions d'encre. Enfin, l'invention a trait, selon un second objet à l'utilisation, en tant qu'agent tensio-actif
pour la stabilisation d'un latex, d'un polymère ou copolymère susceptible d'être obtenu par un procédé de polymérisation d'un ou plusieurs monomères, comprenant une étape de mise en contact, dans un milieu comprenant de l'eau, du ou desdits monomères avec au moins un amorceur répondant à la formule (I) suivante :

L' invention va maintenant être décrite en référence aux exemples suivants donnés à titre illustratif et non limitatif.
EXPOSÉ DÉTAILLÉ DE MODES DE RÉALISATION PARTICULIERS
EXEMPLE 1 Cet exemple illustre la préparation d'un amorceur de formule (II) suivante :
(H) à partir d'une alcoxyamine de formule suivante
(Ia) et le 4-styrènesulfonate de sodium
Dans un réacteur en verre de 2 litres purgé à l'azote, on introduit 1 litre d' éthanol et 0,5 litre d'eau dégazée. On ajoute 54 g de 4-styrènesulfonate de sodium (0,262 mol) et 100 g d' alcoxyamine de formule (Ia) (0,262 mol). On chauffe à 700C et on laisse réagir 6 heures sous agitation. Le produit est récupéré par évaporation sous vide à une température de 300C. On obtient 179 g d'une huile jaune qui cristallise au stockage à 4°C sous forme d'une cire.
Le produit obtenu est analysé par RMN 1H, 13C et 31P, par spectrométrie de masse électrospray négatif et par analyse Karl Fischer. Il contient 84% en poids d' amorceur de formule (II) sous la forme de 2 diastéréoisomères dans des proportions 59/41 et 16% d' eau . Les caractéristiques de l' amorceur obtenu sont les suivantes :

EXEMPLE 2 L'exemple suivant a trait à la préparation d'un agent tensioactif à base d'acide méthacrylique et de méthacrylate de méthyle.
Dans un réacteur en verre de 1 litre équipé d'un moteur d'agitation à vitesse variable, des entrées pour l'introduction de réactifs, de piquages pour l'introduction de gaz inertes permettant de chasser l'oxygène, comme l'azote, et de sondes de mesure, d'un système de condensation de vapeurs avec reflux, d'une double enveloppe permettant de chauffer/refroidir le contenu du réacteur grâce à la circulation dans celle- ci, d'un fluide caloporteur, on introduit 430 g d'eau déminéralisée, on démarre l'agitation à vitesse modérée, on met le système en chauffe de manière à atteindre 500C dans le réacteur et on dégaze par bullage d'azote dans le liquide pendant au moins 15 minutes .
On prépare, par ailleurs, dans les récipients adéquats :
1) un mélange de 1,38 g d'acide méthacrylique et 1,6 g de méthacrylate de méthyle ;
2) une solution aqueuse contenant 1,82 g de l'amorceur (II) (pureté 84% en poids) et 20g d'eau déminéralisée
La solution 2 est ajoutée dans sa totalité dans le réacteur et la vitesse d'agitation est mise à 344 tours par minute. Ensuite, le mélange 1 est ajouté
dans le réacteur à l'aide d'une pompe doseuse pendant une durée de 20 minutes. Le réacteur est alors maintenu à une température d'au moins 500C pendant une durée d'au moins 4 heures. Au terme de ce maintien en température, le milieu est refroidi et le contenu du réacteur est déchargé dans un récipient adéquat. Le produit ainsi obtenu présent un aspect laiteux et légèrement moussant avec une taille de particules de 169 nm mesurée par diffusion quasi-élastique de la lumière avec un appareil Malvern LoC.
EXEMPLE 3
L'exemple suivant illustre la synthèse d'un latex du type ASE stabilisé par un polymère tensioactif.
Dans un réacteur en verre de 1 litre équipé d'un moteur d'agitation à vitesse variable, des entrées pour l'introduction de réactifs, des piquages pour l'introduction de gaz inertes permettant de chasser l'oxygène, comme l'azote, et de sondes de mesure (par exemple, de température), d'un système de condensation de vapeurs avec reflux, d'une double enveloppe permettant de chauffer/refroidir le contenu du réacteur grâce à la circulation dans celle-ci, d'un fluide caloporteur, on introduit 303 g du produit préparé selon l'exemple 2 consistant en une dispersion aqueuse diluée d'un tensioactif polymère selon l'invention. On démarre l'agitation à vitesse modérée, on met le système en chauffe de manière à atteindre 720C dans le réacteur et on dégaze par bullage d'azote dans le liquide pendant au moins 15 minutes.
On prépare, par ailleurs, dans les récipients adéquats :
1) un mélange comprenant :
-41,68 g d'acide méthacrylique, 90 g d' acrylate d'éthyle et 0,40 g de phtalate de diallyle ; et
2) une solution aqueuse comprenant 0,16 g de persulfate d'ammonium et 5 g d'eau déminéralisée.
Le réacteur est porté à 78°C et la solution 2 est ajoutée dans sa totalité alors que la vitesse d'agitation est mise à 344 tours par minute. Sept minutes après l'introduction de la solution 2), le dosage du mélange 1 vers le réacteur est amorcé à l'aide d'une pompe doseuse, de manière à compléter l'ajout de ce mélange dans le réacteur en 2,5 heures pendant lesquelles la température est maintenue à au moins 78°C. Après l'ajout, le milieu est maintenu à au moins 780C pendant au moins 3 heures supplémentaires. Le réacteur est ensuite refroidi et son contenu est versé dans un récipient adéquat. Le produit obtenu est un latex stable du type ASE avec un extrait sec de 27,6% mesuré par gravimétrie et une taille de particules de 124 nm mesuré par un appareil Malvern LoC.
Afin de vérifier le pouvoir épaississant du latex du type ASE, une dispersion aqueuse à 3% d'extrait sec est préparée en diluant une partie du produit obtenu avec de l'eau déminéralisée (par exemple, 38 g de latex à 27,6% d'extrait sec dilués avec 312 g d'eau déminéralisée) . Le pH du latex dilué est alors de 3,5, mesuré par potentiométrie et sa viscosité est très proche de celle de l'eau. Une
solution de soude à 36% est ensuite ajoutée lentement et sous agitation du latex, de manière à obtenir le gonflement alcalin et l'effet épaississant. Le maximum de viscosité est obtenu vers un pH de 7,4, auquel la dispersion à 3% prend la forme d'un gel aqueux translucide, pratiquement transparent et ayant une viscosité de 8826 mPa.s à 30 tours par minute mesurée avec un viscosimètre Brookfield à vitesse de rotation variable. Le gel présente, en plus, des reflets colorés allant du rouge au bleu en passant par le vert, selon l'angle d'observation. Ces phénomènes optiques peuvent être observés sur des gels obtenus à partir de latex du type ASE préparés en l'absence de tensioactifs classiques .
EXEMPLE 4
Afin de rendre la fabrication du latex de l'exemple 3 plus productive, la synthèse de celui-ci peut se faire dans la foulée de celle du polymère tensioactif de l'exemple 2. Pour ce faire, la quantité totale de produit de l'exemple 2 peut être ajustée de manière à avoir seulement 303 g et l'étape de maintien à 50 °C après l'ajout des monomères de l'exemple 2 peut être limitée à un minimum de 1 ou 2 heures, après lesquelles le réacteur peut être porté à 78°C pour l'enchaînement des opérations de l'exemple 3.
EXEMPLE 5
Afin de rendre la fabrication du latex de l'exemple 4 plus productive, la synthèse de celui-ci peut se faire dans la foulée de celle de l'amorceur
hydrosoluble de l'exemple 1. Pour ce faire, la synthèse de l'amorceur hydrosoluble de l'exemple 1 peut se faire dans le réacteur de polymérisation, en ajustant le taux de dilution avec de l'eau et une petite quantité d'alcool éthylique, ainsi que les quantités de 4- styrène sulfonate de sodium et d' alcoxyamine (Ia), de manière à obtenir uniquement la quantité d' amorceur hydrosoluble (II) nécessaire à la préparation du tensioactif de l'exemple 2. Le temps de chauffage à 700C pour la préparation de l'amorceur hydrosoluble peut être optimisé en le faisant passer à un minimum de 1 heure, durée après laquelle les opérations de l'exemple 4 peuvent être enchaînées. Avantageusement, cette méthode ne nécessite pas la séparation et/ou purification de l'amorceur (II) ni sa manipulation sous forme de cire, car elle est produite directement dans le réacteur de polymérisation (en solution diluée et dans la quantité nécessaire) , dans lequel elle va être utilisée pour la fabrication du tensioactif polymère qui servira, de son côté à la fabrication du latex ASE final .
Claims
1. Composition comprenant au moins un latex et au moins un agent tensioactif susceptible d'être obtenu par un procédé de polymérisation de monomères, comprenant une étape de mise en contact du ou desdits monomères avec au moins un amorceur répondant à la formule (I) suivante :
dans laquelle :
- Ri représente un atome d'hydrogène, un groupe alkyle, linéaire ou ramifié, comprenant de 1 à 8 atomes de carbone, un groupe phényle, un métal choisi parmi les métaux alcalins, les métaux alcalino-terreux, les métaux de transition, H4N+, Bu4N+, Bu3HN+ ou Bu représentant un groupe n- butyle ;
- R.2 et R3, identiques ou différents, représentent un groupe alkyle, linéaire ou ramifié, comprenant de 1 à 3 atomes de carbone ;
- R5 représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe OCOR8, R8 représentant un groupe alkyle, linéaire ou ramifié, comprenant de 1 à 20 atomes de carbone ; R.6 et R7 représentent, indépendamment, un groupe alkyle, linéaire ou ramifié, comprenant de 1 à 3 atomes de carbone ; R4 représente : * un groupe aryle porteur d' au moins un groupe acide comportant au moins un hétéroatome choisi parmi S et P, ledit groupe acide pouvant exister sous forme d'un sel ; ou
* un groupe hétérocyclique comprenant un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes choisis parmi O, N et/ou S, ledit groupe hétérocyclique étant éventuellement porteur d'au moins un groupe acide comportant au moins un hétéroatome choisi parmi S et P ou porteur d'un groupe hydrocarboné comprenant éventuellement un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes, ledit groupe hydrocarboné étant porteur d' au moins un groupe acide tel que défini ci-dessus, ledit groupe hétérocyclique pouvant exister sous forme d'un sel ; ou * un groupe -CO-NR-Y ou -CO-O-Y, avec Y représentant un groupe hydrocarboné comprenant éventuellement un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes porteur d' au moins un groupe acide comprenant un hétéroatome choisi parmi S et P ou représentant un groupe hydrocarboné comprenant éventuellement un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes contenant au moins un groupe hétérocyclique comprenant un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes choisis parmi N, 0 et S, ledit groupe -CO-NR-Y ou -CO-O-Y pouvant exister éventuellement sous forme d'un sel et R représentant un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle .
2. Composition selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle R4 est un groupe aryle porteur d'au moins un groupe sulfonique, phosphonique, phosphorique ou phosphinique, ces groupes pouvant exister sous forme de sels .
3. Composition selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle R4 est un groupe pyrrole, pyridine, indole, thiophène, furanne ou pyrimidine.
4. Composition selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle R4 représente un groupe -CO-NR-Y ou -CO-
0-Y, avec Y représentant un groupe hydrocarboné porteur d'au moins un groupe imidazole, imidazoline, imidazolidone, pyrazole, triazole, tétrazole, thiadiazole ou oxadiazole.
5. Composition selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans laquelle R4 est un groupe phénylène porteur d'un groupe -SO3R9, R9 représentant un atome d'hydrogène, un métal choisi parmi les métaux alcalins, les métaux alcalins, les métaux alcalino-terreux, les métaux de transition, H4N+, Bu4N+ ou Bu3HN+, Bu représentant un groupe n-butyle.
6. Composition selon la revendication 5, dans laquelle l'amorceur répond à la formule (II) suivante :

Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le copolymère est un copolymère amphiphile, comprenant des unités répétitives issues de la polymérisation d'un ou plusieurs monomères hydrophiles et des unités répétitives issues de la polymérisation d'un ou plusieurs monomères hydrophobes.
8. Composition selon la revendication 7, dans laquelle dans laquelle le (les) monomères hydrophiles sont choisis parmi :
- l'acide (méth) acrylique et ses sels ;
- les (méth) acrylates de sels d'aminé;
- les (méth) acrylates d' hydroxyalkyle; les (méth) acrylates de polyéthylèneglycol, d' alcoxy- ou aryloxy- polyalkylèneglycol ; et
- les mélanges de ceux-ci.
9. Composition selon la revendication 7 ou 8, dans laquelle le (les) monomère (s) hydrophobes sont choisis parmi :
-les monomères vinylaromatiques tels que le styrène, 1' α-méthylstyrène ;
-les monomères diéniques, tels que le butadiène, 1' isoprène ;
-les monomères acrylates hydrophobes, tels que l'acrylate d'éthyle, de n-butyle, d' éthylhexyle, de phényle, les acrylates de méthoxypolypropylèneglycol, les acrylates fluorés, les acrylates silylés ; -les monomères méthacrylates, tels que le méthacrylate de méthyle, de lauryle, de cyclohexyle, d'allyle, de phényle, les méthacrylates de méthoxypolypropylèneglycol, le méthacrylate de 2- (tert- butylamino) éthyle (MATBAE), les méthacrylates fluorés, tels que le méthacrylate de 2, 2, 2-trifluoroéthyle, les méthacrylates silylés tels que le 3- méthacryloylpropyltriméthylsilane ; -1' acrylonitrile ; et les mélanges de ceux-ci.
10. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, dans laquelle le latex est un latex ASE.
11. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le latex est choisi parmi : -les latex obtenus par polymérisation en émulsion en milieu aqueux d'acide méthacrylique, d' acrylate d'éthyle, de phtalate de diallyle ;
-les latex obtenus par polymérisation en émulsion en milieu aqueux d'acide méthacrylique, de styrène, d' éthylène glycol diméthacrylate ;
-les latex obtenus par polymérisation en émulsion en milieu aqueux d'acide méthacrylique, de méthacrylate de méthyle, de phtalate de diallyle.
12. Utilisation, en tant qu'agent tensio- actif pour la stabilisation d'un latex, d'un polymère ou copolymère susceptible d'être obtenu par un procédé de polymérisation d'un ou plusieurs monomères, comprenant une étape de mise en contact du ou desdits monomères avec au moins un amorceur répondant à la formule (I) suivante :
dans laquelle :
- Ri représente un atome d'hydrogène, un groupe alkyle, linéaire ou ramifié, comprenant de 1 à 8 atomes de carbone, un groupe phényle, un métal choisi parmi les métaux alcalins, les métaux alcalino-terreux, les métaux de transition, H4N+, Bu4N+, Bu3HN+ ou Bu représentant un groupe n- butyle ;
- R2 et R3, identiques ou différents, représentent un groupe alkyle, linéaire ou ramifié, comprenant de 1 à 3 atomes de carbone ;
- R5 représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe
- OCORβ, Rs représentant un groupe alkyle, linéaire ou ramifié, comprenant de 1 à 20 atomes de carbone ; - Re et R7 représentent, indépendamment, un groupe alkyle, linéaire ou ramifié, comprenant de 1 à 3 atomes de carbone ; R4 représente :
* un groupe aryle porteur d' au moins un groupe acide comportant au moins un hétéroatome choisi parmi S et P, ledit groupe acide pouvant exister sous forme d'un sel ; ou
* un groupe hétérocyclique comprenant un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes choisis parmi O, N et/ou S, ledit groupe hétérocyclique étant éventuellement porteur d'au moins un groupe acide comportant au moins un hétéroatome choisi parmi S et P ou porteur d'un groupe hydrocarboné comprenant éventuellement un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes, ledit groupe hydrocarboné étant porteur d' au moins un groupe acide tel que défini ci-dessus, ledit groupe hétérocyclique pouvant exister sous forme d'un sel ; ou
* un groupe -CO-NR-Y ou -CO-O-Y, avec Y représentant un groupe hydrocarboné comprenant éventuellement un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes porteur d' au moins un groupe acide comprenant un hétéroatome choisi parmi S et P ou représentant un groupe hydrocarboné comprenant éventuellement un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes contenant au moins un groupe hétérocyclique comprenant un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes choisis parmi N, 0 et S, ledit groupe -CO-NR-Y ou -CO-O-Y pouvant exister éventuellement sous forme d'un sel et R représentant un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle.
13. Utilisation selon la revendication 12, dans laquelle le copolymère est un copolymère amphiphile, comprenant des unités répétitives issues de la polymérisation d'un ou plusieurs monomères hydrophiles et des unités répétitives issues de la polymérisation d'un ou plusieurs monomères hydrophobes.
14. Utilisation d'une composition telle que définie selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à
11 comme dispersants dans des compositions cosmétiques, des compositions de peinture, des compositions d'encre.
