Description

The present invention relates to a slatted frame with two longitudinal beams, two transverse bars and a plurality of parallel to the cross bars extending spring strips which are resiliently supported by edge bearings on the longitudinal beams, wherein at least a portion of the spring strips is formed as a double bar with an upper, supported by the edge bearing Spring bar and a lower, connected to the upper spring bar via at least one hardness slider spring bar which is displaceable for hardness adjustment between a center position and a marginal position on the spring bar, the hardness slider having a support element, via which the hardness slider and with it the upper spring bar in the outermost edge position of the hardness slider is indirectly or directly supported on the longitudinal spar. Moreover, the invention relates to a peripheral bearing and a hardness slide for a slatted frame.

The hardness setting of the slatted base can be adapted to individual requirements by setting the hardness via the hardness slides. In particular, certain areas, such as the lumbar area, can be set harder for better support than other areas such as the shoulder or hip area.

Usually, the adjustable double spring strips on two hardness shifter, which are displaceable between a center position and a marginal position along the double spring bar. If both hardness slides are located in the middle of the double spring strip, the lower spring strip can swing freely. The support is therefore essentially by the upper spring bar and is correspondingly soft. If the two hardness shifters are located at one end of the double spring strip, the two strips spring together. This results in a correspondingly increased spring force and supporting action.

It is known to provide the hardness slide with a projection over which the hardness slider is supported in its outermost edge position on the associated longitudinal spar. As a result, the spring bar is supported on the hardness slider on the longitudinal spar, so no longer on the edge bearing. In this way, the elastic edge bearing can be made hard.

A slatted frame with the features of the preamble of claim 1 is made DE 8707 696 U known.

The invention has for its object to provide a slatted base with extended functionality and to provide edge bearings and hardness slide available.

This object is achieved in that at least two mutually different, superimposed positions are provided, in which the hardness slide and with him the upper spring bar on the support member on the longitudinal spar can be supported.

Due to the supportability of the slat slide in at least two superposed positions not only the edge bearing can be made hard in the slatted frame according to the invention, but it is also possible to vary the height of the edge bearing. This also changes the height of the associated spring bar, so that the slatted frame can be raised in certain areas. Special support in certain areas can be further improved, for example in the lordosis area.

The support element of the hardness slider can be rigid as in known slatted frames. As there can be made hard by the edge bearing, but due to the invention, different heights of the edge bearing can be adjusted.

According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the hardness slider may also have a support member which is resilient in the direction perpendicular to the slatted surface, in particular a leaf spring. Thus, the spring bar of the slatted base can be supported on request with a different spring hardness on the longitudinal spar than on the resilient edge bearing. It is in principle also possible to provide both a resilient support member and a non-resilient support member so that either the edge bearing hard put or another, especially higher spring hardness can be set in the edge bearing area of the spring bar.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the support element of the hardness slider is formed as a projection. This is structurally easy to implement. By appropriate recordings in the edge bearing or in the longitudinal spar of the slatted base, the support element can be supported on this projection at different heights.

Another way to support the hardness slide at different heights is that the support element comprises two projections, at least one of which is displaceable between a projecting position and a retracted position. As a result, the hardness shifter can optionally be supported via only one projection or via both projections or alternatively via the one projection or over the other projection. This also causes different height settings possible. The two projections may also have different heights.

Both hardness shifters of a double strip are preferably designed according to the invention. As a result, a symmetrical adjustment can be performed.

The spring element of the edge bearing can be designed as a cross-sectionally elliptical spring element. This results in a good possibility of engagement for the support element of the hardness slide, in particular in the case of two projections.

Manufacturing technology favorable is a development of the invention, according to which the edge bearing is formed with two receptacles for each a spring bar. In this case, means for height adjustment according to the invention, in particular receptacles for projections of the support element of the associated hardness slide are provided in particular in the region of both shots.

Also preferred is the production of the edge bearing and the hardness slider with plastic support element.

The in the Fig. 1 to 8 parts shown can be used together with a slatted frame of known type, which is formed by two longitudinal bars, two transverse bars and a plurality of parallel to the transverse bars extending spring strips, wherein at least a part of the spring strips is designed as a double strip with an upper spring bar and a lower spring bar , In the illustrated parts are edge bearing 1 and hardness shifter 2, which are described in more detail below.

That in the Fig. 1 to 4 shown edge bearing 1 is designed as a double bearing with two receptacles 3 1 and 3 2 for the end depending on a spring bar known type. The receptacles 3 1 and 3 2 are connected via a respective elliptical cross-section spring element 4 1 , 4 2 with a common base 5. The base 5 consists essentially of a vertically arranged elongated base plate 6, which is provided on its underside with two dowel receptacles 7, via which the edge bearing 1 on a spar, in particular longitudinal spar of a slatted frame can be fastened. Above the two dowel receivers 7 of the base plate 6 pairs of juxtaposed recesses 8 are provided, in each case two pairs 8 1 and 8 2 are arranged one above the other.

The in the Fig. 1 to 4 shown hardness slider 2 is formed as a cross-sectionally substantially rectangular ring 9, which is provided in its interior with a cross-sectionally T-shaped partition 10. Above the subdivision 10, therefore, a receiving space 11 for the two strips of a double strip is formed. That is, the receiving space 11 is about twice as high and as wide as the receptacles 3 1 and 3 second The dimensions of the space 11 are chosen so that the hardness slider 2 can be moved along the double bar with sliding guide.

On the edge bearing 1 facing side of the hardness slide 2 engages in the two formed below the receiving space 10 spaces 12 1 and 12 2 a not recognizable in the figures holding portion of an angled leaf spring 13, which is disposed below the ring 9 and a first leg 13th 1 and a second leg 13 2 2 . The first leg 13 1 connects to the holding portion of the leaf spring 13 on the edge bearing 1 side facing and extending from the edge bearing 1 away down to the junction 14 to the second leg 13 2 , which is accordingly from the junction 14 down in the direction extends to the edge bearing 1. At its end remote from the connection point 14, the second leg 13 2 has two in particular two Fig. 1 recognizable lugs 15 1 , 15 2 , with which the leaf spring 13 can engage in the recesses 8 of the base plate 6 of the edge bearing 1.

As can be seen, the leaf spring 13 with the lugs 15 1 and 15 2 can be used either in two lower recesses 8 1 or two recesses arranged above 8 2 of the base plate 6 of the edge bearing 1. In addition, the leaf spring 13 with the lugs 15 1 and 15 2 are supported on the upper narrow side 16 of the base plate 6 of the edge bearing 1, since the base plate 6 via an intermediate piece 17 1 , 17 2 with the two spring elements 4 1 and 4 2 is connected, so that between the top 16 of the base plate 6 and the spring elements 4 1 and 4 2 a space is available.

Although in the Fig. 1 to 4 only one hardness slide 2 is shown, each of the receptacles 3 1 and 3 2 may be associated with such a hardness slider 2. In addition, the other ends of the associated double strips can be equipped with corresponding hardness slides 2 and edge bearings 1. Just as well, the edge bearing 1 can be designed as a simple edge bearing with only one receptacle for a spring bar. About the slatted frame any number of such edge bearing 1 and 2 hardness shifter be provided. However, these are preferably provided in the areas to be supported in particular, such as the lordosis area.

The following adjustment options are available with the illustrated edge bearings and hardness shifters:
  • First of all, the illustrated hardness slider 2 can be moved as desired over the double bar of the slatted frame to set a desired hardness in a known manner, ie in particular in a middle region for a low hardness and in an edge region for a high hardness. In addition, the hardness slider 2 can be inserted with its noses 15 1 and 15 2 in a pair of recesses 8, for example
like in the FIGS. 1 to 4 shown in a lower pair 8 1 . The harrow pusher 2 sweeping double bar is thus no longer supported only on the elliptical spring 4 2 of the edge bearing 1 but also on the angled leaf spring 13. The spring rate of the support is thereby increased accordingly. To further increase the spring hardness, the hardness slider 2 can be inserted with its lugs 15 1 and 15 2 in the upper pair of exceptions 8 2 . An even greater spring hardness results when the lugs 15 1 and 15 2 of the hardness slider 2 are supported on the top 16 of the base plate 6. Of course, instead of just two superimposed pairs of recesses 8, more such pairs may be provided.

In the in the Fig. 5 to 8 illustrated variant, the edge bearing 1 is also designed as a double bearing with two receptacles 3 1 and 3 2 for each a spring bar. The receptacles 3 1 and 3 2 are also here on elliptical in cross-section spring elements 4 1 and 4 2 on a base 5 'supported. The base 5 'is formed here as a simple horizontal plate 6', which is provided on its underside with two downwardly directed fixing plugs 7 '.

The hardness slider 2, in this variant, also has a substantially rectangular cross-section ring 9. Instead of the leaf spring 13 of the first variant, however, a projection 18 is provided here on the underside of the ring 9, which is designed to engage in the interior 19 of a spring element 4 1 , 4 2 . In addition, below the projection 18, a second projection 20 is present, which is displaceably guided in the direction of the edge bearing 1 on the first projection 18 between a projecting position and a retracted position. The second projection 20 is also formed in its advanced position for engagement in the interior 19 of a spring element 4 1 , 4 2 . How to look in particular in Fig. 5 and 7 recognizes, however, the spring element 4 1 or 4 2 for this purpose must be stretched, which is due to the elasticity of the spring element 4 1 , 4 2 readily possible.

The different settings of the second variant are the Fig. 5 to 8 removable. Thus, here too, the hardness slider 2 can be displaced along the associated double strip between a middle position and a marginal position. The middle position corresponds to the one in Fig. 5 the situation shown on the left, where no hardening slide 2 is located before the receptacle 3 1 and the spring 4 1 of the edge bearing 1. The marginal position corresponds to the situation to the right. The hardness slider 2 is located in front of the receptacle 3 2 and the spring element 4 2 , but its projection 18 does not yet engage in the interior 19 of the spring 4 2 . Thus, a large spring hardness of the double bar is set, the edge bearing but still elastic.

Still right in Fig. 5 the situation is shown, in which the hardness slider 2 engages with its upper projection 18 in the interior 19 of the spring 4 3 . The spring hardness of the double bar is also set to hard, in addition, the edge bearing is also set to hard by now the hardness slider 2 and with him the double spring bar over the projection 18 on the base 5 'of the edge bearing 1 is supported. That is, the spring element 4 3 is ineffective.

At the far right in Fig. 5 As shown, the hardness slider 2 engages with both projections 18 and 20 in the interior 19 of the spring element 4 4th For this purpose, the lower projection 20 has been advanced and the spring element 4 4 stretched. Also in this case, the double spring bar is set to hard and the effect of the spring 4 4 repealed. In addition, the edge bearing 1 is now raised so that the double spring strip in one elevated position. By appropriate variation of the two projections 18 and 20, the height of the raised position can be changed. For example, both projections 18, 20 may have the same height, or the upper projection may have a greater height than the lower projection 20.
