Definitions
- the invention relates to a spring strip for a Matratzenunterfederung, which spring bar is designed as a double spring bar and an upper spring bar and a lower spring bar comprises, wherein the upper spring bar with the same force is more yielding than the lower spring bar and both spring bars held in the region of their ends at a vertical distance from each other are.
- Mattress pads serve to support a mattress and to increase lying comfort, compared to lying on a mattress without such spring support.
- Matratzenunterfederonne are known in different configurations. Matratzenunterfederonne that adapt in a special way to the lying position of a lying on the mattress top person have a variety of individual and independently responsive spring elements.
- Lower cost mattress supports have a frame formed of two longitudinal beams and the longitudinal beams end connecting crossbars, which carries a plurality of the longitudinal bars connecting spring strips. The transverse to the longitudinal extent extending spring strips such mattress suspension are yielding. The ends of the spring strips are usually connected with the interposition of executed by type of caps Kunststoffan gleichtücken to the longitudinal bars.
- Such a mattress suspension is also addressed as a slatted frame.
- the spring strips of such a mattress suspension are in many cases those made of wood. Are used at this point, other materials, such as fiber-reinforced plastics or the like. Due to the thickness and / or the width of the spring strips the jounce characteristic of the same is specified. Also known are female connectors, which consist of two individual spring strips, of which only the upper spring bar is connected at their ends to a spar of Matratzenunterfederung. The lower spring bar is connected over the longitudinal extension of the slats sliding slide to the upper spring bar. Are these Einfederhärteeinstellschieber in the central position of these two spring strips, the entire compression work is taken over by the upper spring bar.
- spring slats are sometimes used, consisting of several in the vertical direction superimposed spring strips are composed. Typically, two such spring strips are used. This spring strips are held at the end with mattress frame side distance.
- previously known such spring strip designs have a support by which the upper spring bar is supported on the lower spring bar.
- Such spring strips are made for example FR 500 894 . DE 298 17 431 U1 as well as from the post-published EP 2 965 665 A1 known.
- the multiple arrangement serves to obtain a progressive deflection characteristic.
- the main focus in this prior art is the holding together of the vertically spaced spring strips.
- EP 0 834 272 A1 Another progressive spring strip is off EP 0 834 272 A1 known.
- These known spring bar is designed as a double spring bar.
- the lower bar is an abutment bar in this spring bar.
- the force is initially absorbed only by the upper spring bar. If this comes in contact with the middle slotted piece, this is involved in the compression work.
- the ends of the same relative to the abutment bar are displaceable.
- the present invention seeks to propose a spring strip for a Matratzenunterfederung, which not only provides a high comfort, but also counteracts a formation of mattress side permanent recumbent and yet favors the formation of a particular sleeping positions supporting couch.
- This object is achieved according to the invention by an aforementioned, generic spring bar with the features of claim 1.
- These double spring strips have an upper spring bar and a lower spring bar.
- the spring strip coupling acts in the direction of loading and thus in the direction of compression.
- this double spring bar is the upper spring bar between their ends, preferably centrally supported with respect to the span of the double spring bar on the lower spring bar.
- This support is provided by a arranged between the spring strips, designed as a support element support, which is held between the two spring strips.
- the support element with regard to the deflection characteristic of this double spring strip, the span thereof is subdivided into two softer areas with respect to their spring deflection characteristics.
- Such a division of the lying surface into individual lying areas serves the purpose that in the spring strip sections, in which the two spring strips are spaced apart, in the manner described above, a couch also already forms with a relatively lower weight acting thereon.
- a lying area can be used for example for a lateral position.
- the body of a person lying on such mattress suspension mattress extends over several lying areas and thus also via a spring strip support the lower spring bar is involved directly in the compression process. Accordingly, only a couch of lesser depth, but with a greater width, forms. This is the case for example in a supine position and in this desired.
- the shoulder blades are already in a lying adjacent to the support lying area, so that even in a reserve, the upper spring bar resiliently responds to impressions of the scapula in the mattress or at least can respond.
- a lateral position however, the formation of a much deeper couch is desired. This is possible if the person using the mattress suspension is positioned adjacent to a spring strip support in a lateral position. Then occurs the already described above effect that the upper spring bar contributes to the formation of narrower and deeper loungers due to its softer compression characteristics in particular dimensions.
- the height of the deflection of the upper spring bar without the involvement of the lower spring bar is defined by the distance between the two spring strips in such a lying area between two spring strip supports.
- the support member for supporting the upper spring bar on the support forming the same takes place on a support surface thereof.
- the support surface against which the underside of the upper spring strip abuts is convexly curved in the direction of the upper spring strip.
- the support takes place over a certain longitudinal extent of the spring bar, and thus not alone in a line contact.
- the upper spring bar relative to the support is movable, in the longitudinal direction of the spring bar. In this way, a balance of displacements during compression between the spring strips should be allowed.
- the upper spring bar is also on unloaded spring bar on the support surface of the support. In one embodiment, it is provided that this system is provided with a certain bias.
- the double spring strips each have an upper spring strip and a lower spring strip so that the spring strip doubling acts in the loading direction.
- the upper spring bar is more yielding and thus springs already at a lower load, as the lower spring bar, for the deflection of a higher weight is needed.
- both spring strips are arranged vertically spaced from each other and thus are held at a vertical distance from one another in the region of their ends.
- the upper spring bar also serves the purpose of a force absorption by deflection.
- the relevant compression work is done according to a preferred embodiment of the lower spring bar.
- the upper spring bar primarily serves to form a couch, which then adjusts itself at a relatively low pressure acting on the mattress (weight).
- An advantage of such a configuration is that the upper spring bar compliantly reacts even at low Aufliegewith on the mattress and thus is responsible for the formation of a Stanfordkuhle without a compression of the lower spring bar is necessary.
- a couch at the top of the mattress is equally formed when a person of low weight lies on the matzo, as well as a person with a greater weight.
- a couch not only independent of the weight lying on it person forms, but also regardless of the elasticity properties of the mattress, so: whether it is softer or harder.
- the upper spring bar assumes such a double spring bar at least a share in the formation of a couch, so far as the mattress itself is less stressed. Due to the significantly longer duration elasticity of the upper spring bar, compared with that of the mattress, even a long-term permanent training of a couch in the mattress itself is avoided.
- a support member is mainly a made of plastic part, as this can be produced inexpensively even with more complex geometry.
- An embodiment is advantageous in which such a support element comprises two individual molded parts which are typically designed C-shaped. In a C-shaped design of these moldings, these are arranged with their open mold sides facing each other, preferably with a small distance from each other. These moldings are attached to the lower spring bar. The spacing of the upper ends of these molded parts from one another serves the purpose of providing a certain amount of additional flexibility, since the mutually facing end faces can move towards one another when the double spring strip is loaded in the direction of compression. In such an embodiment, it is expedient to connect the two mold parts with one another for easy handling with a flexible connecting member. Typically, this will use a film hinge, since this can be formed simultaneously with the production of the two moldings.
- a mattress suspension 1 comprises a frame 2, which is formed by two longitudinal bars 3, 3.1 and two transverse bars 4, 4.1 connecting the longitudinal bars at the end.
- the longitudinal beams 3, 3.1 and the transverse bars 4, 4.1 are wooden strips.
- the actual lying surface of the mattress suspension 1 is provided by a multiplicity of spring strips 5 extending between the longitudinal bars 3, 3.1.
- the in the illustrated embodiment made of wood spring strips 5 are connected in a conventional manner to the longitudinal beams, for example, using terminal caps, in which the spring strips engage with their end and are mounted with an engaging in the longitudinal spar.
- a pelvic area is provided in a mattress suspension in addition to the shoulder area, in which the spring strips are designed as double spring strips.
- FIG. 2 shows in a side view of such a double spring bar 6.
- the double spring bar 6 comprises an upper spring bar 8 and a lower spring bar 9.
- the upper spring bar 8 has softer compression properties than the lower spring bar 9.
- the upper spring strip 8 has a lower material thickness than the lower spring strip 9. It is understood that the softer deflection properties of the upper spring strip 8 relative to the lower spring strip 9 can also be provided in other ways, for example by different widths thereof.
- the two spring strips 8, 9 are held in the region of their connection to the respective longitudinal beam 3 or 3.1 with a vertical distance from each other. In the illustrated embodiment, the two spring strips 8, 9 engage directly in the longitudinal members 3 and 3.1 with their ends. This is a simplified representation, since, as shown in the other figures, the spring strips 8, 9 are actually connected with the interposition of terminal caps on the longitudinal members 3, 3.1.
- the lower spring strip 9 has a slat support, which is designed as a support projection 10 in the illustrated embodiment.
- the support projection 10 is provided by a convexly shaped bulge, in the direction of the upper spring bar 8.
- the height of the support projection 10 corresponds to the vertical distance of the two spring strips 8, 9 from each other in the region of their respective ends.
- the upper spring bar 8 is also at unloaded double spring bar 6 on the support projection 10 of the lower spring bar 9. The double spring bar 6 shown in the side view in the FIGS.
- the lying width of the mattress suspension is divided into two lying areas 11, 11.1. These are characterized by a softer deflection characteristic, compared with the over the entire width of Matratzeunterfederung (length of the double spring strip 6) extending lying area.
- a load on the double spring strip 6 in the region of the support projection 10 leads to a spring deflection of both spring strips 8, 9.
- the force required for the compression corresponds to the spring force provided by the two spring strips 8, 9.
- FIG. 3 shows the double spring bar 6 with a supine person lying on it P.
- a mattress located on the mattress 1 is not shown in the figures.
- the contour of the person P, which acts on the upper spring bar 8, adjusts itself equally when between the person P and the double spring bar 6, a mattress is arranged.
- the weight of the same is absorbed by two spring strips 8, 9 and both spring strips 8, 9 compress.
- Due to the reserve of the person P upper spring bar 8 reacts in the lying adjacent to the support projection 10 lying areas 11, 11.1 already by the force acting thereon, by the shape of the shoulder blades of the person P, so that on the top of the upper spring bar 8 adjusting shape corresponds to the return of the person P.
- Such a design of the lying surface is perceived as very comfortable.
- the weight of the person P is significantly on the lower spring bar 9, which also springs the weight of the person P springs up, and introduced into the longitudinal bars 3, 3.1.
- FIG. 4 shows the person P in a lateral position in the lying area 11. In this lying position of the person P is formed by the softer deflection properties of the upper spring bar 8 a clearly recognizable Salviahle 12.
- the couch 12 extends between the Abstützvorsprung 10 on which the upper spring bar 8 rests, and the connection of the two spring strips 8, 9 to the longitudinal beam 3, through which connection the spring strips 8, 9 are kept at a distance.
- the actual weight of the person P is also in this lying position of the lower spring bar 9 (in FIG. 4 not shown deflected) perceived.
- the depth of a lying in each of the supporting projection 10 lying lying areas 11, 11.1 is defined by the distance between the two spring strips 8, 9 from each other. While the embodiment of the FIGS. 1 to 4 a Matratzenunterfederung 1 with inner spring strips 5, 6 shows, is provided in a further embodiment, these run on run, as this in the Figures 5 and 6 is shown.
- the distance between the two spring strips 8.1, 9.1 of in FIG. 5 shown double spring bar 6.1 is compared with the distance of the spring strips 8, 9 of the spring bar 6 larger, in the region of the connection of the spring strips 8.1, 9.1 to the respective longitudinal beam 3.2, 3.3 and in the field of spring strip support 10.1.
- the bulge of the section projection 10.1 carried out according to austragender.
- spring strips 8, 9, 8.1, 9.1 have been described as a single spring strips. Instead of using a single spring strips, they can also be provided by two or more layers of thinner spring strips.
- the double spring strip 13 comprises an upper spring strip 14 and a lower spring strip 15.
- the spring strips 14, 15 are curved convexly against the compression direction, in the illustrated embodiment over the span of the spring strips 14, 15th away with the same radius of curvature.
- the upper spring bar 14 has in the illustrated embodiment over softer compression properties than the lower spring bar 15.
- the upper spring bar 14 is provided by three individual spring strips 16, 16.1, 16.2.
- the single spring strips 16, 16.1, 16.2 are movable relative to one another in the longitudinal extension thereof. This serves the purpose that during a Einfederungsvorgang the single spring strips 16, 16.1, 16.2 can perform a compensation movement against each other.
- the two spring strips 14, 15 are held in the region of their connection to the respective longitudinal beam 3 or 3.1 with a vertical distance from each other. Held are the spring strips 14, 15 each end in a spring strip holder 17, 17.1, which is connected to the adjacent longitudinal spar 3 or 3.1.
- the spring strip holder 17 is a modular spring strip holder, which consists of a lower bearing element 18 and a bar cap module 19 attached thereto.
- the bearing element 18 has a bar cap 20 into which the end of the spring bar 15 engages.
- the strip cap module 19 also has a strip cap 21 into which the ends of the individual spring strips 16, 16.1, 16.2 engage in common.
- the bar cap module 19 carries on the underside of the bar cap a protective and mounting tab 24, through which a machine insertion of the free ends of the single spring strips 16, 16.1, 16.2 is simplified in the bar cap 21.
- the spring strip holder 17, 17.1 By the spring strip holder 17, 17.1, the spring strips 14, 15 spaced from each other end.
- the bar cap module 19 has molded on his groin cap 21 attenuators 22, which connect the groin cap 21 with a base portion 23 of the spring cap module 19.
- the attenuators 22 provide a certain flexibility, so that at a corresponding load of in FIG. 7 shown distance between the end of the upper spring bar 14 and that of the lower spring bar 15 can be reduced can.
- the spring strip holder 17.1 is carried out as well as the spring strip holder 17. Therefore, the relevant for the spring strip holder 17.1 apply equally.
- the spring strips 14, 15 are supported by engaging a support member 25 between their end portions against each other.
- the spring strips 14, 15 held by the support member 25 at the same distance from each other, as by the spring strip holder 17, 17.1, at least when the double spring bar 13 is in the unloaded state.
- the support member 25 is located in the illustrated embodiment, centrally between the two spring strip holders 17, 17.1.
- the support element 25 is manufactured as a plastic injection-molded part and comprises two C-shaped shaped parts 26, 26.1, which are arranged with their open sides facing each other.
- the mold parts 26, 26.1 are arranged at a distance from one another and connected to one another in the region of their upper legs by a film hinge 27.
- the support member 25 is immovably connected via its two mold parts 26, 26.1 using a respective fastener 28, 28.1 to the lower spring bar 9.
- each mold part 26, 26.1 is curved in the transition to the upper leg of the C-shape, so that the support element 25 is convexly curved with its voltage applied to the underside of the upper spring bar 14 side.
- the apex of the convex curvature is located in the gap between the mutually facing legs of the mold parts 26, 26.1. It is understood that the above-described support of the upper spring bar relative to the lower spring bar is also achieved if it has no enclosures.
- the enclosures 29, 29.1 of the illustrated embodiment are only for guiding the upper spring bar fourteenth
- FIG. 8 To the support element 25 is in FIG. 8 his in the direction of the upper spring bar 14 convexly curved support surface identified by the reference symbol S.
- This support surface is interrupted by the above-described gap which is connected by the film hinge 27. Nevertheless, a short-distance support on the underside of the spring bar 14 is provided by the support surface S.
- the lying width of the mattress suspension is divided into two lying areas 30, 30.1. These are characterized by a softer compression characteristic, compared with the over the entire width of Matratzeunterfederung (length of the double spring strip 13) extending lying area.
- a load on the double spring strip 13 in the region of the support element 25 leads to a spring deflection of both spring strips 14, 15.
- the force required for the compression corresponds to the spring force provided by the two spring strips 14, 15.
- the support member 25 serves to provide a desired Salkuhle.
- the spacing of the two mold parts 26, 26.1 and the above convex shape can be slightly deformed at a deflection of the double spring strip 13, the mold parts 26, 26.1 in the area adjacent to the upper spring bar 14 section.
- the support element can also be designed with a certain resilience, so that then changes in a deflection of the double spring strip, the distance of the upper spring bar from the lower spring bar in the region of the support element.
- the support element 25 is held between the two spring strips 14, 15 with a small bias. This serves the purpose that in the transition from an unloaded position of the double spring strip 13 in a loaded position, the upper spring bar 14 is not at the top of the support element 25th audibly strikes.
- the support element is designed in a V-shape in order to achieve a further flexibility in a compression process.

Description
The invention relates to a spring strip for a Matratzenunterfederung, which spring bar is designed as a double spring bar and an upper spring bar and a lower spring bar comprises, wherein the upper spring bar with the same force is more yielding than the lower spring bar and both spring bars held in the region of their ends at a vertical distance from each other are.
Mattress pads serve to support a mattress and to increase lying comfort, compared to lying on a mattress without such spring support. Matratzenunterfederungen are known in different configurations. Matratzenunterfederungen that adapt in a special way to the lying position of a lying on the mattress top person have a variety of individual and independently responsive spring elements. Lower cost mattress supports have a frame formed of two longitudinal beams and the longitudinal beams end connecting crossbars, which carries a plurality of the longitudinal bars connecting spring strips. The transverse to the longitudinal extent extending spring strips such mattress suspension are yielding. The ends of the spring strips are usually connected with the interposition of executed by type of caps Kunststoffanschlusstücken to the longitudinal bars. Such a mattress suspension is also addressed as a slatted frame. With such a mattress suspension, the deflection of the spring strips in the middle of their span is naturally greatest. If a person lies on a mattress located on the mattress suspension, a certain couch usually forms as a result of the deflection. However, in such Matratzenunterfederungen the lying comfort is sometimes regarded as not always optimal, since the weight of the person lying on the mattress is responsible for a compression of the spring strips to form a not only caused by impressions of the mattress Liegekuhle. In this respect, it may be undesirable for a backslider to have a relatively wide couch training, or for a side sleeper, that especially in the shoulder area due to the lower weight acting on the mattress suspension weight a recumbent forms insufficiently.
Although it forms within the mattress by compression of the same already a certain Liegekuhle, but it is desired that the Matratzenunterfederung join the compression process at least partially. If the mattress suspension is not at least partially involved in the formation of a couch, a provision of the mattress can only be done by the elastic properties of the mattress itself. This leads to many mattresses that over time and typically consistent or only slightly changed reclining positions in the mattress forms a permanent Kuhle, which can then be perceived as uncomfortable in certain sleeping positions.
The spring strips of such a mattress suspension are in many cases those made of wood. The farther the sliders comprising these two slats have been moved towards the ends thereof, the more the lower spring slat is involved in the compression work. The result is that the farther these slides are moved away from the center, the compression characteristic of such a spring bar is harder. By this arrangement, the above-described concept is not changed in connection with the formation of a couch.

Based on this discussed prior art, the present invention seeks to propose a spring strip for a Matratzenunterfederung, which not only provides a high comfort, but also counteracts a formation of mattress side permanent recumbent and yet favors the formation of a particular sleeping positions supporting couch.
This object is achieved according to the invention by an aforementioned, generic spring bar with the features of
Such a division of the lying surface into individual lying areas serves the purpose that in the spring strip sections, in which the two spring strips are spaced apart, in the manner described above, a couch also already forms with a relatively lower weight acting thereon. Such a lying area can be used for example for a lateral position. The body of a person lying on such mattress suspension mattress extends over several lying areas and thus also via a spring strip support the lower spring bar is involved directly in the compression process. Accordingly, only a couch of lesser depth, but with a greater width, forms. This is the case for example in a supine position and in this desired. In such a lying position, the shoulder blades are already in a lying adjacent to the support lying area, so that even in a reserve, the upper spring bar resiliently responds to impressions of the scapula in the mattress or at least can respond. In a lateral position, however, the formation of a much deeper couch is desired. This is possible if the person using the mattress suspension is positioned adjacent to a spring strip support in a lateral position. Then occurs the already described above effect that the upper spring bar contributes to the formation of narrower and deeper loungers due to its softer compression characteristics in particular dimensions. The height of the deflection of the upper spring bar without the involvement of the lower spring bar is defined by the distance between the two spring strips in such a lying area between two spring strip supports. Especially with wider lying surfaces and thus longer double spring strips, there is also the possibility that between the ends thereof a plurality of spaced apart Federleistenabstützungen are provided, for example two. The lying areas formed by these preferably have a same width. However, this is not mandatory. A training of different broad Liegeteilbereiche is possible.
The support member for supporting the upper spring bar on the support forming the same takes place on a support surface thereof. The support surface against which the underside of the upper spring strip abuts is convexly curved in the direction of the upper spring strip. The support takes place over a certain longitudinal extent of the spring bar, and thus not alone in a line contact. Furthermore, it is provided that the upper spring bar relative to the support is movable, in the longitudinal direction of the spring bar. In this way, a balance of displacements during compression between the spring strips should be allowed. Due to the support of the upper spring bar on a convex curved support surface, wherein in the unloaded spring bar the upper spring bar in the region of the apex of the support surface abuts this, during compression, the upper spring bar relative to the support roll along the support surface, whereby the compression process, in particular during the formation of a Couch is designed to be pleasant in a lying to the support area lying area and can be provided via the Einfederungsweg with an at least approximately constant compression characteristics.
The upper spring bar is also on unloaded spring bar on the support surface of the support. In one embodiment, it is provided that this system is provided with a certain bias.
In a Matratzenunterfederung you will such double spring strips Arrange positions that are exposed to particularly large changes of shape on the top of the mattress, as this is the case for example in the shoulder area and / or in the hip area. Of course, all spring strips of a mattress suspension can be designed as such double spring strips.
As already pointed out, the double spring strips each have an upper spring strip and a lower spring strip so that the spring strip doubling acts in the loading direction. It is envisaged that the upper spring bar is more yielding and thus springs already at a lower load, as the lower spring bar, for the deflection of a higher weight is needed. Of special feature is that both spring strips are arranged vertically spaced from each other and thus are held at a vertical distance from one another in the region of their ends. Although the upper spring bar also serves the purpose of a force absorption by deflection. However, the relevant compression work is done according to a preferred embodiment of the lower spring bar. In this respect, in the preferred embodiment, the upper spring bar primarily serves to form a couch, which then adjusts itself at a relatively low pressure acting on the mattress (weight). An advantage of such a configuration is that the upper spring bar compliantly reacts even at low Aufliegegewicht on the mattress and thus is responsible for the formation of a Liegekuhle without a compression of the lower spring bar is necessary. Thus, a couch at the top of the mattress is equally formed when a person of low weight lies on the matzo, as well as a person with a greater weight. Of special feature is that at the top of the mattress a couch not only independent of the weight lying on it person forms, but also regardless of the elasticity properties of the mattress, so: whether it is softer or harder. In this respect, the upper spring bar assumes such a double spring bar at least a share in the formation of a couch, so far as the mattress itself is less stressed. Due to the significantly longer duration elasticity of the upper spring bar, compared with that of the mattress, even a long-term permanent training of a couch in the mattress itself is avoided.
By the formation of such, even with a lower weight training couches is also effectively counteracted unwanted rolling down of the mattress, such as when turning in sleep. This advantage is particularly noticeable when the bed is used by persons of different weights, for example when a child is sleeping in a parent's bed. Even if the mattress is actually too hard for the lower weight of a child and forms in this, if at all, only a small recess, formed due to the described design of the upper spring bar a counter-rolling counteracting couch.
As a support member is mainly a made of plastic part, as this can be produced inexpensively even with more complex geometry. An embodiment is advantageous in which such a support element comprises two individual molded parts which are typically designed C-shaped.

By the
Due to the configuration of the
In principle, the support element can also be designed with a certain resilience, so that then changes in a deflection of the double spring strip, the distance of the upper spring bar from the lower spring bar in the region of the support element.
In the illustrated embodiment, it is provided that the
In an embodiment, not shown in the figures, it is provided that the support element is designed in a V-shape in order to achieve a further flexibility in a compression process. In such an embodiment, the legs of the support element in a compression operation are anxious to be moved away from each other. In order to limit such a maximum flexibility, a film hinge connecting the two legs in the region of its end is also used in such an embodiment.
The upper spring bar and the lower spring bar of a double spring bar, as described above, may also have the same deflection characteristics. It is also possible to interpret the material of the spring strips differently, for example, to use for the lower spring bar such a wooden and for the upper spring bar such a plastic.
The invention has been described with reference to embodiments. The description of the invention makes it clear that in a particularly simple manner, a special reclining comfort can be provided, which not only stabilizes the reclining position, but also a pressure relief result. This succeeds especially without additional mechanical components. In addition, such a Matratzenunterfederung is inexpensive to produce.
The described Matratzenunterfederung can provide on the top of the spring strips with a padding and with a padding and summarizing the spring strips enclosing cover. Such a configuration would in principle correspond to an embodiment, as this is known by box spring beds, wherein instead of the springs, the spring strips are provided. In such an embodiment of the spring base will be when using the same in the context of a reclining chair top mattress.
In a further embodiment, it is provided that the lower suspension is part of a total padding, that consequently the addressed in the described embodiments mattress in the case of a reclining furniture is connected to the lower suspension and thus forms the lower suspension with the mattress a unit. In a foam mattress, the spring strips can engage, for example, in the foam, so this is fixed to the spring strips.
