Definitions
- the present invention relates to a device for dispensing a cosmetic and / or care product.
- a preferred, but not exclusive, field of the present invention aims at implementing a sensory stimulating organ, such as a lamp, a buzzer, an audible alarm or the like, so as to detect a bad closing of the container, a source of desiccation and oxidation of the cosmetic product and / or care, or facilitate the removal and / or the application of this product on a given body surface.
- a sensory stimulating organ such as a lamp, a buzzer, an audible alarm or the like
- the document EP 0 435 420 discloses a device in the form of a make-up case.
- This housing comprises a container on which is rotatably mounted a hood.
- the hood houses a lamp.
- this cover houses batteries and a switch for selectively making electrical communication this source with said lamp.
- the container has a recess in which the makeup product is received.
- a radial surface extends from this recess.
- This radial surface forms an actuating surface for the switch. More precisely, this radial surface makes it possible to bias the switch when the cover is moved from its open position to its closed position. This switch then switches the lamp from an activation state to an inactivation state.
- a disadvantage related to this device is that the cooperation of the switch with the radial surface can cause a poor closing of the cover causing the sealing problem of the housing.
- Such a sealing problem can lead to physico-chemical modifications of the product. Such modifications may lead to drying of the product which will tend to harden or to oxidation of this product which may eventually give rise to a color transfer of the product or more generally to a change of property of the product.
- An object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device overcoming at least one of the aforementioned drawbacks.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a device ensuring both a good seal of the device and good communication between the electrical components.
- An object of the present invention is also to provide a device providing a selective contact between a sensory stimulation member, comprising lighting means, such as a lamp, and a power supply source that does not deteriorate. over the uses of the device.
- the present invention therefore relates to a device for dispensing a cosmetic and / or care product according to claim 1.
- the sensory stimulating member may be integral with either the hood or the container. This definition also includes the case where the sensory stimulating member is integral with a workpiece, or base, itself attached to or in this cover or container.
- sensory stimulation member fixed relative to the container or the housing cap
- the sensory stimulation member is unfit to be rotated, in particular pivotally, or in translation relative to the structure of which it is united.
- the sensory stimulation member remains stationary relative to the structure housing it.
- Moving the cap from its closed position to its open position automatically communicates said power source with said sensory stimulating member.
- the means for actuating the switch are thus able to selectively automatically communicate said power source with said stimulating member. sensing when moving the hood from its closed position to its open position.
- the sensory stimulating member thus goes from an inactivation state to an activation state instantaneously upon removal of the hood.
- the removal of the hood as such thus makes it possible to go from this inactivation state to this activation state.
- the sensory stimulation member thus goes from an inactivation state to an activation state simply because of the removal of the hood.
- the sensory stimulating member switches from an activation state to an inactivation state when replacing the cover on the container.
- the switch is inaccessible, and thus inoperable, in the mounted position of the cover on the container. The transition from an inactivation state to an activation state, and vice versa, of the sensory stimulation member is therefore done without direct digital bias exerted on the switch.
- the switch may comprise a free edge defining a bearing surface abutting against an actuating surface of the actuating means in the closed position of the cover. Said bearing and actuating surfaces extending at a respective axial height distinct from the free edge defining the dispensing orifice and being axially offset relative to said dispensing orifice.
- the device may comprise sealing means of the dispensing orifice integral with the cover. More specifically, the device may comprise sealing means configured to cooperate with the dispensing orifice. These sealing means may come into sealing engagement on the free edge of the container. Alternatively or additionally, these sealing means may comprise a skirt mounted in sealing engagement against an inner face of the dispensing orifice. Alternatively or additionally, these sealing means may comprise a lip or a seal capable of bearing on the free edge of the container.
- the actuating means and the free edge may extend in two separate planes parallel to each other.
- the actuating means and the free edge may extend in two distinct planes substantially perpendicular to the axis of elongation of the container.
- the container may have a neck.
- neck is meant that the container has a cross-sectional distribution duct narrowed relative to a cross section of the container body and protruding relative to that body.
- this neck may include a shoulder from which stands a mouth with the free edge.
- the switch and / or the actuating means may extend at this shoulder.
- the ratio of the height of this neck, and more precisely the height of the mouth, relative to the total height of the container, that is to say the height measured between the free edge defining the dispensing opening to bottom of the container intended to come into contact with a resting surface may be between 0.1 and 0.4 and in particular between 0.12 and 0.26.
- the height of the mouth can be between 10mm and 20mm and in particular between 12mm and 17mm.
- the mouth may comprise reversible fastening means, in particular a thread, for mounting the cover.
- the switch can extend through a wall of the container.
- the cover may comprise a free end capable of cooperating with said switch.
- the switch can extend through the cover.
- the device may comprise a base fixedly mounted in the cover, said base may comprise a passage through which extends said switch.
- This base may comprise a free edge adapted to come opposite a shoulder of the container, the switch may protrude relative to this border.
- the base may include a housing adapted to receive said sensory stimulation member.
- the switch may comprise at least one slidable tab relative to the cover and / or the container. This switch may comprise two tabs extending on either side of the dispensing orifice.
- the actuating means may be adapted to move said switch, together with said power source, during movement of the cover between its open and closed positions.
- the switch can be solicited by resilient means.
- These resilient means may be in the compressed state in a state of inactivation of the sensory stimulating member and in the relaxed state in an activation state of the sensory stimulating member.
- Said sensory stimulation member comprises lighting means and in particular at least one light emitting diode.
- lighting means may comprise two light-emitting diodes extending on either side of the dispensing orifice.
- the container may be made of a light transmissive material, said sensory stimulating member may be disposed under a bottom wall of the container opposite the dispensing orifice.
- the device may furthermore comprise product application means, possibly integral with the cover.
- application means can be configured to apply a makeup product such as a lip gloss, a lipstick, a nail polish, a mascara or an eyeliner.
- They may comprise a rod provided with an application element chosen from a brush, a brush, a flocked organ and a lipstick stick.
- the dispensing orifice can give direct access to the product, said container then being devoid of dispensing means of the pump or valve type.
- said free edge and said shoulder extend in two distinct respective axial heights.
- This shoulder is axially offset relative to said dispensing orifice.
- the figures 1 and 2 represent an embodiment of a device according to the present invention comprising on the one hand a container 1, a cover 2, a sensory stimulation member 3, a power supply source 4, a switch 5 and means for actuation of this switch.
- the container 1 may be a bottle, for example with a capacity of 2 to 100 ml. Such a container 1 may for example have a width between and 10 and 20mm, and in particular between 14 and 18mm, and a height H2 between 50 and 100mm, and especially between 65 and 75mm.
- This container may contain a cosmetic and / or care product such as a lip gloss, a lipstick, a nail polish, a mascara or an eyeliner.

- a container comprises a main elongation axis X orthogonal to the dispensing orifice.
- the shoulder 13 is axially offset relative to the dispensing orifice 16 and the free edge 15 which defines it.
- the shoulder 13 and the free edge 15 further extend a respective height distinct from the container 1.
- the free edge 15 can be separated from the bottom wall 11 by a spacing greater than the spacing between the shoulder 13 of the bottom wall 11.
- the shoulder 13 and the free edge 15 can therefore extend in a respective plane Y, Z distinct.
- These planes Y and Z can be parallel to each other. Alternatively, these plans could be secant.
- the planes Y and Z may be perpendicular to the axis of elongation X.
- This shoulder 13 and this free edge 15 may be spaced from each other by a height of between 5 to 15mm, and especially between 8 and 12mm.
- the dispensing orifice 16 has a circular shape. However, this orifice could have any other appropriate shape such as square, elliptical, oval or rectangular. It should be noted that this dispensing orifice is preferably devoid of any dispensing system of the pump or valve type. The cosmetic and / or care product contained inside can thus flow by gravity through the dispensing orifice, simply by tilting the container. Such a dispensing orifice of the container may then be closed in a sealed manner by the cover 2 or a part integral with the cover.

- the battery 40 can establish electrical communication with the anode 32 of the visual means and the battery 41 can establish an electrical communication with the cathode 31 of the visual means.
- the power source 4 could include only one battery or a number of batteries greater than two. It should also be noted that all types of energy accumulators or energy sources could be implemented. For example, a photosensitive cell could be used as a power source.
- the switch 5 is intended to provide a selective power supply of the sensory stimulating member 3.
- a switch thus acts as an on / off type switch capable of interrupting the electrical communication between the power supply source and the sensory stimulating member 3.
- the biasing of such a switch 5 thus makes it possible to change the state of said sensory stimulation member 3.
- the sensory stimulation member 3 can switch from a state of activation to an inactivation state.
- the switch 5 is in the form of a jumper comprising two legs or uprights 50 connected to a spacer 51.

- the end 511 and the rim 512 may be provided with a bore or groove 513. The function of a such bore will be discussed in the following description.
- the end 511 defines a retaining end for the power supply source 4.
- the anodes 32 of the visual means 30 can be received in the bore 513.
- Such a bore is intended to define a housing for the anodes 32 of the visual means .
- Such a housing then extends under the power supply source 4 and more precisely between the bearing surface 611 of the platform of the base and the spacer 51 of the switch.
- switch 5 could have any other suitable configuration.
- the device according to the invention may also comprise an electrically conductive element 8 adapted to establish an electrical communication between the sensory stimulation member 3 and the power supply source 4. More precisely, this element 8 makes it possible to establish a connection electrical connection between the cathode 31 of the visual means and the battery 41.
- an element 8 may for example be made of a metallic material.
- the element 8 can be in the form of a ring 80.
- a ring can be provided with two loops 82. These loops can protrude outwards. They can extend radially opposite one against to the other. Such loops 82 may respectively receive the cathode 31 of the visual means 30. These loops then allow the element 8 to slide relative to the cathodes.
- the device according to the invention may further comprise resilient means 81.
- the ring 80 supports these resilient means.
- these resilient means 81 may be made in one piece with said conductive element 8.
- these resilient means can be reported on the conductive element 8.
- This figure also shows that these resilient means 81 may be in the form of a coil spring. Such a coil spring can then be mounted in engagement around the ring 80.
- Other embodiments are conceivable.
- the resilient means could be fixedly connected to the bottom 22 of the hood 2.
- the base 6, the visual means 30, the switch 5, the power supply source and the electrically conductive element 8 together define a lighting module.
- Such a module can be housed in the cover 2. To do this, this module can be mounted through the open end 21 of the cover. In the mounting position, the plate 60 of the base can engage tightly against an inner face of the cover 2 so as to fix the module in the cover 2. The resilient means can in turn bear against the bottom 22 hood.
- the device according to the present invention also comprises means for actuating the switch 5.
- Such actuating means are adapted to bias the switch in order to change the state of the sensory stimulation member.
- these actuating means make it possible to passing the sensory stimulating organ from the activation state to the inactivation state.
- this change of state corresponds to the selective illumination of the visual means 30.
- sensitive means it may correspond to the selective tripping of vibrations.
- sound medium it may correspond to the selective release of any noise.
- olfactory means it may correspond to the selective distribution of an odorous product other than that contained in the container 1.
- the cover 2 can be moved between an open position of the dispensing orifice 16 and a closed position of the dispensing orifice 16.
- Figures 5 and 6 show such an open position while the Figures 7 and 8 show the closed position.
- the cathode 31 of the visual means 30 establishes an electrical communication through the electrically conductive element 8 with the positive terminal of the battery 41.
- the anode 32 establishes an electrical communication with the terminal negative of the battery 40.
- the visual means are supplied with electricity and thus light up.
- the user can take cosmetic and / or care product contained in the container 1 and possibly apply it using the product application means 7.
- the lighting of the diodes makes it possible to illuminate the desired skin surface such as the face and in particular the lips, the eyelids, the cheeks, the eyelashes or the nails.
- the mirror 18 disposed on the container 1 also facilitates the application of said product.
- the user closes the dispensing orifice by replacing the cover 2 on the neck 12 of the container.
- the free end 500 of the tabs 50 bear against the shoulder 13 of the neck of the container.
- This support causes a sliding of the switch relative to the base 6.
- Such sliding ensures a translational movement of the switch 5 having the effect of moving the battery 40 away from the anode 32 and thus breaking the electrical contact between the visual means 30 and the power supply source 4. This break in contact then results in the extinction of the means visuals.
- the shoulder 13 of the container constitutes a means for actuating the switch able to move it so as to change the state of said visual means, and more precisely able to pass said visual means of a state of illumination in a state of non-illumination.
- the device according to the invention is characterized by the fact that the free edge 15 of the container and the actuating means 13 extend in two distinct respective axial heights and that these means of actuation are axially offset relative to said dispensing orifice.
- two distinct parts of the device can be specifically devoted on the one hand to the sealing of the device and on the other hand to the selective activation of the visual means.
- the switch is inaccessible.
- the visual means may be inaccessible.
- the cover to the open position again establishes the electrical communication between the battery 40 and the anode 32 of the visual means.
- the power supply source 4 can again supply electricity to the sensory stimulation member 3.
- the visual means 30 are then illuminated again.
- the resilient means 81 make it easier to bring the stack 40 into contact with the anode 32 by visual means when the cover 2 is removed.
- Such a device therefore allows the user to clearly discern the body surface to be coated with the product.
- the fact that the sensory stimulating member is activated in the open position of the dispensing orifice makes it possible to clearly indicate to the user whether the cover has been correctly closed after taking the product.
- the actuating means, biasing the switch are axially and Laterally offset relative to the dispensing orifice improves the closure of the cover and thus the sealing of the device.
- the base 6 can itself serve as a housing for the power supply source 4.
- the bearing surface 611 of the baseplate may be provided with a barrel 612 of restricted cross section relative to the skirt 610. Such a barrel may then be configured to receive said power supply source. .
- the bore designed to house the anode 32 of the visual means can be made on the height of this shaft to allow positioning of the anodes prior to the positioning of the batteries.
- the spacer 51 of the switch 5 serves only to support the electrically conductive element 8.
- the element 8 is integral in displacement of the switch 5 in such a case.
- the skirt 610 of the platform of the base could directly rise beyond the scope 611 so as to define internally a housing for the power supply source 4.
- the free end 500 of the tabs 50 of the switch requests the displacement of the electrically conductive element 8 away from the power supply source.
- the cathode 31 of the visual means is then no longer in electrical contact with the positive terminal of the battery 41. This interruption of electrical contact then causes extinction of the visual means.
- the power source remains motionless in the hood.
- the anodes 32 of the visual means can then remain permanently in contact with the battery 40.
- FIGS. 13 to 15 represent another embodiment of a device according to the invention. Similar numerals added with a prime sign have been assigned to similar parts of the previously described device.
- the device comprises a lighting module integral with the container 1 '.
- the container 1 ' may be a cosmetic and / or care product conditioning jar with a capacity of, for example, 20 to 200mL of fluid.
- a container may have a width greater than that of the container 1 and a height less than that of the container 1 '. This width can be between 50mm and 120mm, and especially between 65 and 80mm, and this height can be between 20mm and 60mm, and especially between 25 and 40mm.
- the shoulder 13 'and the free edge 15' of the container 1 ' may be spaced apart from a height of between 5 to 15mm, and especially between 8 and 12mm.
- the container 1 ' can be made of a transparent or translucent material.
- a container can for example be made of plastic material or glass.
- the container 1 ' may comprise a chimney 19'a extending from the bottom wall 11' of the container 1 'to the shoulder 13' of the neck of the container.
- a chimney can thus extend through the side wall 10 'of the container. It can extend parallel to the axis of elongation X of the container 1 '. Alternatively this chimney could extend secant to this axis of elongation X of the container.
- Such a chimney can have any form of appropriate section such as circular, elliptical, oval, polygonal or other. The function of such a chimney will be mentioned later in this description.
- the container 1 ' may also include a housing 19'b.
- This housing may comprise a recess in the bottom wall 11 '.
- Such a recess can thus be located under the fluid reservoir and in particular under the cup 9 '.
- This recess may for example have a dome or dome shape.
- the dispensing orifice 16 'of this container is selectively closed by a cover 2'.
- This cover may comprise an overcap 20 'in which is mounted an insert 21'.
- Overcap 20 may for example be made of a metallic material.
- the insert 21 ' may for example be made of a plastic material.
- This insert may comprise a peripheral skirt 210 'connected by a radial flange 211' to a closure member 212 'of the dispensing orifice 16'.
- This radial flange may for example have a generally annular shape.
- peripheral skirt 210 ' can be engaged in the overcap 20'.
- This peripheral skirt can be mounted by force fitting, screwing or latching in this overcap.
- the closure member 212 ' may comprise a plate 213' provided with sealing means 214 '.
- sealing means may comprise a lip or a seal.
- These sealing means may optionally be reported on the plate 213 '. To do this, they can be overmolded or glued on this tray. They can be made of an elastomeric material. This tray may for example have a disc shape.
- the closure member 212 ' may also comprise a sleeve 215' provided internally with fixing means 216 '. This sleeve 215 'is connected to the radial flange 211'.
- the fastening means 215 'can cooperate with the fastening means 17' of said mouth.
- the plate 213 'can then be placed facing the dispensing orifice 216.
- the sealing means 214' can then come into sealing engagement with the free edge 15 'of the container 1' in order to seal the dispensing orifice 16 '.
- the radial flange 211 ' forms a free end of the cap adapted to be positioned opposite the shoulder 13'. More precisely, this radial flange can bear on this shoulder.
- Overcap 20 'can extend in turn in the continuity of the side wall 10' of the container 1.
- the cover 2 'could be made in one piece.
- this cover could similarly comprise a plate connected to a flange by a recess so that the cover can cooperate with parts of the container extending at two distinct axial heights relative to the axis of elongation X of the container.
- a recess may be continuous so that the plate and this flange extending in two different planes.
- the lighting module comprises a base 6 '.
- This base can be made of an opaque material to hide its contents. In particular it can be made of a plastic or metal material. When this base is made of a metallic material it may be internally coated with an insulating material such as a varnish or a lacquer.
- the base 6 ' can be made in two parts 6'a, 6'b able to be fixedly connected to each other by any appropriate means such as by force fitting, latching or screwing.
- This base houses in this example a visual means 30 ', a stack 40' and a switch 5 '.
- the organ of sensory stimulation in this case the means visual 30 ', is fixed relative to the container, and in particular relative to the base. Such a sensory stimulation member is thus unfit to be moved in rotation or in translation relative to the housing structure.
- the switch 5 ' comprises in this example a tab 50' comprising a foot 51 '.
- a foot may extend transversely relative to an axis in which the rod 50 'extends.
- the portion 6'a of the base 6 ' may include an opening 600' dedicated to the passage of the tab 50 'switch 5' and an opening 601 'dedicated to the passage of the visual means 30'.
- the switch and the visual means in this case a light-emitting diode, can thus extend on either side of their respective opening 600 ', 601'.
- This switch 5 ' can be mounted on resilient means 81'.
- These resilient means may comprise a flexible blade as shown in the Figures 13 and 14 or a coil spring as shown on the figure 15 .
- the resilient means 81 ' may be connected to a support plate 83' integral with the portion 6'b of the base.
- these resilient means can be made in one piece with this plate.
- Such a plate can also support the battery 40 ', and in particular the negative terminal of this battery.
- the positive terminal of this battery can be electrically connected to the cathode 31 'of the visual means.
- the anode 32 'of the visual means can in turn be connected to a conductive plate 84' integral with the portion 6'a of the base. To do this, the anode can be heat-welded to this plate.
- the foot 51 'of the switch can make selective electrical contact with said conductive plate 84'.
- the portion 6'a of the base may be reversibly or permanently associated by any suitable means to the container 1 'such as by screwing, snapping, gluing or welding.
- this portion 6'a may be associated with the bottom wall 11 'of the container.
- the bottom of the device is formed by the portion 6'b of the base which will be intended to come into contact with a resting surface.
- the chimney 19'a can then receive the tab 50 'of the switch.
- the switch 5 'and the chimney may have an identical cross-sectional shape to guide the movement of the switch 5' within said chimney 19'a.
- the housing 19'b can in turn receive the visual means 30 '.
- the cover 2 ' can be moved between an open position of the dispensing orifice 16' and a closed position of the dispensing orifice 16 '.
- the figure 13 shows such an open position while the figure 14 shows the closed position.
- the foot 51 ' In the open position, the foot 51 'abuts under the plate 84' so as to electrically connect the visual means 30 'and the battery 40' and thus allow its illumination. The light emitted by the visual means 30 'can then diffuse through the container 1'.
- the user closes the dispensing orifice 16 'by replacing the cover 2' on the mouth 14 'of the neck of the container.
- the radial flange 211 'of the cover insert 2' bears on the switch 5 '.
- This support then moves by sliding the switch relative to the chimney 19'a.
- Such displacement then moves the foot 51 'of this switch from the conductive plate 84'.
- the visual means 30 ' is then no longer supplied with energy and goes out.
- the radial flange may possibly bear on the shoulder 13 'of the neck of the container.
- the radial flange 211 'thus forms actuating means capable of biasing the switch 5' in order to change the state of the sensory stimulation member.
- the sealing means 214' can bear against the free edge 15 'of the container to ensure its sealing.
- the resilient means When moving the cover in the open position, the resilient means again solicit foot 51 'in contact with the switch, thus again providing a power supply of the visual means and lighting.
