  • the closing member according to the invention it is also possible to achieve uniform distribution of the retaining loads along the longitudinal surfaces, thus reducing drastically the possibility of localised breakage or cracking of the glass; moreover it has compact dimensions, is simple and inexpensive to produce and assemble and can be easily used, in safe conditions, also by non-expert users and is such that it does not interfere with the basic form of the lamp, being incorporated in its profile without altering the aesthetic appearance thereof and without creating discontinuity in the extension of the surfaces which can be visually perceived by the user.
