Description

The invention relates to a thermoplastic hair connector, consisting of a substantially prismatic body in which the ends of replacement hairs can be embedded in the longitudinal extension direction.

Such hair connection elements are known in many ways. Most common are those with U-profile, eg according to AT 403 427 B or AT 412 141 B in which the ends of replacement hairs are embedded so as to obtain replacement hair strands, which can be fastened by means of the bonding element to the head hair by melt-bonding. In this case, a head hair strand is inserted between the legs of the U-profile, which is then squeezed together with a Heizpinzette. In order to ensure a guidance and alignment of the hair strands and to have enough adhesive material, has already been proposed (see. AT 412 141 B ), to provide additional longitudinal and / or transverse walls between the U-legs. However, such a hair connection element is relatively expensive, which is why we had to look for simpler solutions.

The aim of the invention is a thermoplastic hair connection element with the simplest possible shape, but does not stand the functionality of the known hair connection elements.

This object is achieved with a thermoplastic hair connector of the type mentioned in the present invention that at least on a free surface at least one inclined to the longitudinal extension direction profiling such as corrugation, corrugation odgl. is provided.

The hair tie according to the invention is much simpler in configuration than all previously known fasteners, since ultimately only a single surface of the substantially prismatic body has a shape deviating from a smooth surface. The inclined (s) profiling (s) has / have the advantage that applied in the application to the human head in the longitudinal direction own strand of hair when melt gluing with a tweezers or the like. better than hitherto surrounded by the material of the connecting element. On a rather complicated shape of the Hair connection element can therefore be dispensed with, since for the melt-bonding in each case, an applicator with heating device is required, which has to accommodate the hair connector. In this way, a guide of the own hair, so an application help, guaranteed.

In the simplest case, a single profiling may be provided which extends substantially transversely to the longitudinal extension direction. Since it is primarily important that the profile progression deviates from the longitudinal extension direction of the hair connection element, the expression "substantially transversely to the longitudinal extension direction" encompasses all inclination angles greater than zero and less than or equal to 45 °. The special type of profiling, whether wavy or hump-shaped, whether rectangularly ribbed or similar, is of secondary importance.

In a preferred embodiment, two intersecting profiles are provided. This has the advantage that even individual hair ends of the head hair strand to be adhered, which at most differ from the general direction of the combed hair, nevertheless strike the profiling substantially transversely and are therefore well embedded when being squeezed into it in the course of the melt-bonding process.

The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments illustrated in the drawing. Show it Fig. 1 and 2 two inventive thermoplastic hair fasteners with simple profiling and Fig. 3 a variant with two crossed profilings.

The thermoplastic hair coupling element 1 according to the invention Fig. 1 has a substantially prismatic, eg cuboidal, body whose longitudinal sides 2 and 3 transverse sides and the base side 4 are substantially smooth and flat. The base side 4 opposite free surface 5 has substantially transversely to the longitudinal extension direction a profiling 6 (in the illustrated case, a simple corrugation) on.

Fig. 2 shows a similar hair tie 7, but in which the profiling 8 corresponds to a rectangular perforation. Overall, in all embodiments, any profiling form can be used, provided that they are "substantially transverse to the longitudinal extension direction ", ie at an angle greater than zero and less than or equal to 45 °.

In Fig. 3 Finally, a hair tie 9 is illustrated having two intersecting profiles 10a, 10b.

In the thermoplastic hair connection element 1, 7 or 9, the ends of replacement hairs 11 are embedded in a first operation in the molten or pasty state in the longitudinal extension direction, ie parallel to the longitudinal sides 2. The thus obtained, at one end by the thermoplastic hair connector 1, 7 or 9 bundled replacement hair strands or the like when applied to the human head in a Heizpinzette. taken, whereupon the end portion of a self-hair strand 12 is placed on the profiled free surface 5. By heating and compressing the hair connector 1, 7 or 9, the ends of the own hairs 12 are embedded in it, whereby the foreign hair 11 is connected to the own hair 12. The profiling 6, 8 or 10a, 10b of the surface 5 in relation to the position of the own hair strand 11 causes the hot crimping of the hair connection element 1, 7 or 9, that the own hairs 11 are well coated by the thermoplastic binder. As the material for the hair connector 1, 7 or 9 are substantially all thermoplastic materials in question, the melting or softening point is not too low, so that the usual washing of the head no separation occurs. The order of magnitude for a hair-connecting element according to the invention is a longitudinal extent of approximately 4-10 mm, a transverse extent of approximately 2-5 mm, a base thickness of approximately 1 mm and a profile height of approximately 1-4 mm.
