Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sweeper with a housing, a rotatably mounted in or on the housing roller brush and at least one impeller or impeller pair according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the impeller In the working position, the impeller contacts the roller brush so that the roller brush is driven by the impeller. At the same time the impeller is in the working position for holding the roller brush in the working position. In the release position, the impeller is out of contact with the roller brush, so that the roller brush is movable, from the working position to the removal position. Accordingly, the roller brush is released there for removal.
- the impeller and the roller brush can thus be disengaged by the roller brush in the working position contacting and thereby driving impeller is displaced, so that the roller brush from the actual bearing of the roller brush is removable.
- the roller brush can be removed in the released position, after which a new roller brush can be used in the appropriate storage.
- the impeller is moved via a manually operable lever mechanism in the release position. This requires a relatively complex mechanism and an applied by the user operator.
- Sweepers with a rotatably mounted roller brush are also from the DE 196 21 55 U and the DE 192 07 89 U known.
- the DE 196 21 55 U a carpet sweeper with wheels and a housing.
- a brush roller is rotatably mounted.
- the brush roller are associated with combs.
- a collecting container is provided for the swept up good.
- the DE 192 07 89 U also shows a carpet sweeper with a housing in which wheels and a driven roller brush are stored. Another roller brush rolls freely when moving the carpet sweeper on the floor, which is supported by the provided with a handle device collecting container for the good that has been swept up.
- the cylindrical roller shaft of the roller brush is rotatably mounted in bores in the housing.
- this type of sweeper removal of the roller brush for example, for the purpose of cleaning or to replace an unused roller brush, for the user is almost impossible.
- a Bodenlochmaschine known which also comprises a housing with a rotatably mounted therein roller brush.
- the roller brush is mounted in the known floor sweeper by two end aufklemmbare bearing clips, wherein the bearing clips are fixed to the housing.
- the roller brush can be latched there.
- the roller brush be driven by wheels
- the drive is often done with the interposition gear-like means.
- the drive is effected by pressing together impeller and a drive wheel associated with the roller brush. This again makes it difficult to change the roller brush, namely due to the intimate contact between the rotating components for driving the roller brush.
- the present invention is therefore the object of developing the generic sweeper such that with little design effort a simple replacement of the roller brush by the user is possible.
- the above object is solved by the features of claim 1.
- the impeller can now be brought into contact with the working position arresting the roller brush by ground contact and the force acting between the bottom and the impeller, and can be held there. This means that the wheel located on the ground is displaced relative to the housing, in the direction of the roller brush.
- the impeller is rotatably supported by an impeller shaft in or on the housing and that the impeller shaft passes through the force acting on it in the arresting working position and there, for example, pressed against a stop, rotatably supported or held , Basically, it is sufficient if a single impeller interacts with the roller brush.
- the drive of the roller brush is favored in that on both sides - inside or outside of the housing - preferably near the housing wall, one impeller is provided, so that the roller brush a double-sided drive, ie at or near the free ends of the Roller brush, learns.
- a particularly simple embodiment of the bearing of the impeller shaft results from the fact that the impeller shaft runs in a guide formed in the housing, serving for displacement in the working position.
- the guide may be defined by slots formed in the housing.
- the slots are inclined, namely from the lower, remote from the roller brush release position in the upper, to the roller brush near working position. Accordingly, the impeller shaft can be moved obliquely upwards against the roller brush, so that pressure can be exerted on the roller brush - for its drive and for holding it.
- the slots serving for guiding are revealed by opening the housing or by removing a housing part forming the slot with the rest of the housing for removal of the drive wheel. In such a case, the drive wheel can be easily removed, regardless of the roller brush.
- the slots forming the guide for the drive wheel comprise a lower and / or upper detent position for the impeller shaft.
- the roller brush is rotatably mounted in the working position in or on the housing, via a roller shaft.
- the storage has an area for laying and possibly locking the roller shaft, similar to that realized in the case of the drive wheel or the drive shaft.
- the storage may include an intake open towards the impeller, so that the roller brush can be removed in the direction of the impeller or impeller shaft, namely, when the impeller is in its release position. Otherwise, the removal of the roller brush is prevented.
- the impeller mainly serves to drive the roller brush.
- the impeller in the working position, the impeller preferably acts with its running surface on a roller shaft associated with this rotatably connected drive wheel.
- drive wheels may be provided on both sides of the roller shaft, on which correspondingly arranged wheels preferably act with their running surfaces. This effect of the running surface of the impeller against the drive wheel can be done by force or friction. It is also conceivable that the running surface of the impeller acts positively or intermeshingly on the drive wheel.
- Another advantage of an embodiment of the teaching according to the invention is the fact that a special locking mechanism can be provided for the roller brush and / or for the drive wheel, namely for holding in the respective working position and / or in the removal position or release position.
- This measure also favors a simple and convenient change of the roller brush, because by this measure, namely, the impeller is disengaged from the brush, so that removal of the roller brush can be done without hindrance.
- FIGS. 1 to 4 show an embodiment of a sweeping machine according to the invention, which essentially comprises a housing 1, a rotatably mounted in the housing 1 roller brush 2 and on both sides of the housing 1 in each case an impeller 3, ie, an impeller pair comprises.
- the figures also show that a further small impeller 4 or a corresponding impeller pair is provided so that the sweeper is movable as a whole.
- the wheels 3 are used to drive the roller brush 2, wherein the roller brush 2 of a in Fig. 1 shown working position on their positioning in Fig. 2 in an in Fig. 3 shown removal position can be brought.
- the wheels 3 of a in Fig. 1 work position shown in a Fig. 2 shown release position movable, wherein the impeller 3, the roller brush 2 in the working position as shown in FIG Fig. 1 contacted and stopped there.
- the impeller 3 either out of contact with the roller brush 2 or the roller brush 2 can follow the impeller in its removal position, so that the roller brush 2 is released for removal.
- FIGS. 1 to 4 Let it further be seen that the impeller 3 is supported by an impeller shaft 5, which in turn is mounted in the housing 1. More precisely, a slot 6 is provided for supporting the impeller shaft 5 on both sides of the housing 1, which runs obliquely in the housing wall, namely from the lower, remote from the roller brush 2 release position in the upper, to the roller brush 2 near working position.
- FIGS. 1 to 4 further suggestively suggest that in the slots 6, a lower detent position 8 is defined by broadening of the slot 6, so that a determination of the impeller 3 in the release position is possible.
- roller brush 2 is rotatably mounted, via a roller shaft 9.
- the roller shaft 9 is rotatably supported on both sides in the housing 1, wherein the bearing area serves for placing the roller shaft 9. Presses the impeller 3 with its tread 10 against a non-rotatably connected to the roller shaft 9 drive wheel 11, the roller brush 2 and the roller shaft 9 is secured in the storage.
- the roller brush 2 comprises groups of bristles 12. It is also conceivable that the roller brush 2 is equipped with different elements for returning dirt or any cargo. Also, it is appreciated that the bristles or other elements extend spirally around the roller shaft 9. In addition, the serving for returning elements can be made of different materials.

Description
The present invention relates to a sweeper with a housing, a rotatably mounted in or on the housing roller brush and at least one impeller or impeller pair according to the preamble of
In the working position, the impeller contacts the roller brush so that the roller brush is driven by the impeller. At the same time the impeller is in the working position for holding the roller brush in the working position. In the release position, the impeller is out of contact with the roller brush, so that the roller brush is movable, from the working position to the removal position. Accordingly, the roller brush is released there for removal. The impeller and the roller brush can thus be disengaged by the roller brush in the working position contacting and thereby driving impeller is displaced, so that the roller brush from the actual bearing of the roller brush is removable. The roller brush can be removed in the released position, after which a new roller brush can be used in the appropriate storage.
In the known sweeper, the impeller is moved via a manually operable lever mechanism in the release position. This requires a relatively complex mechanism and an applied by the user operator.

In most sweeping machines known from practice, the cylindrical roller shaft of the roller brush is rotatably mounted in bores in the housing. In this type of sweeper removal of the roller brush, for example, for the purpose of cleaning or to replace an unused roller brush, for the user is almost impossible.
Furthermore, it is essential for the known sweepers that the roller brush be driven by wheels, the drive is often done with the interposition gear-like means. It is also already known from practice that the drive is effected by pressing together impeller and a drive wheel associated with the roller brush. This again makes it difficult to change the roller brush, namely due to the intimate contact between the rotating components for driving the roller brush.
The present invention is therefore the object of developing the generic sweeper such that with little design effort a simple replacement of the roller brush by the user is possible.
According to the invention the above object is solved by the features of
In concrete terms, it is conceivable that the impeller is rotatably supported by an impeller shaft in or on the housing and that the impeller shaft passes through the force acting on it in the arresting working position and there, for example, pressed against a stop, rotatably supported or held , Basically, it is sufficient if a single impeller interacts with the roller brush. However, the drive of the roller brush is favored in that on both sides - inside or outside of the housing - preferably near the housing wall, one impeller is provided, so that the roller brush a double-sided drive, ie at or near the free ends of the Roller brush, learns.
A particularly simple embodiment of the bearing of the impeller shaft results from the fact that the impeller shaft runs in a guide formed in the housing, serving for displacement in the working position. The guide may be defined by slots formed in the housing. The slots are inclined, namely from the lower, remote from the roller brush release position in the upper, to the roller brush near working position. Accordingly, the impeller shaft can be moved obliquely upwards against the roller brush, so that pressure can be exerted on the roller brush - for its drive and for holding it.
For better accessibility, in particular for repair purposes, it is also advantageous if the slots serving for guiding are revealed by opening the housing or by removing a housing part forming the slot with the rest of the housing for removal of the drive wheel. In such a case, the drive wheel can be easily removed, regardless of the roller brush.
In a further advantageous manner, the slots forming the guide for the drive wheel comprise a lower and / or upper detent position for the impeller shaft. Thus, it is possible to set the impeller shaft in the two positions at least temporarily, namely on the one hand in the working position and on the other in a position for storing the sweeper.
The roller brush is rotatably mounted in the working position in or on the housing, via a roller shaft. Advantageously, the storage has an area for laying and possibly locking the roller shaft, similar to that realized in the case of the drive wheel or the drive shaft. In addition, the storage may include an intake open towards the impeller, so that the roller brush can be removed in the direction of the impeller or impeller shaft, namely, when the impeller is in its release position. Otherwise, the removal of the roller brush is prevented.
As already stated above, the impeller mainly serves to drive the roller brush. For this purpose, in the working position, the impeller preferably acts with its running surface on a roller shaft associated with this rotatably connected drive wheel. For uniform drive, in particular for avoiding a one-sided loading of the roller shaft, drive wheels may be provided on both sides of the roller shaft, on which correspondingly arranged wheels preferably act with their running surfaces. This effect of the running surface of the impeller against the drive wheel can be done by force or friction. It is also conceivable that the running surface of the impeller acts positively or intermeshingly on the drive wheel.
Another advantage of an embodiment of the teaching according to the invention is the fact that a special locking mechanism can be provided for the roller brush and / or for the drive wheel, namely for holding in the respective working position and / or in the removal position or release position. This measure also favors a simple and convenient change of the roller brush, because by this measure, namely, the impeller is disengaged from the brush, so that removal of the roller brush can be done without hindrance.
