Definitions
- the present invention relates to a waterless sanitary installation according to the preamble of claim 1, a siphon for the sanitary installation and a method for operating a waterless sanitary installation.
- Waterless sanitary facilities such as in particular waterless urinals usually have no water flushing.
- the disinfection or suppression of odor formation takes place in such systems usually by means of siphon insert.
- Such urinals are for example from the CH 690 917 , of the DE 270 361 , of the WO 94/25693 , of the EP 0 903 444 , of the US 2002/0038474 as well as the US 2004/0181861 known.
- siphon inserts are provided, for example containing a barrier liquid to prevent the formation of odors.
- the disadvantage of the known waterless urinals with barrier liquids is that this liquid often has to be topped up, since in each case at least part of them is entrained by the liquid passing through the siphon, in particular in the urine. Even more when cleaning the sanitary facilities such as the waterless urinal, the barrier liquid is generally completely washed away, so that it must be refilled.
- the known bell siphons have the disadvantage that here the urine remains in the body for a very long time, which leads to precipitations of the urinary contents and thus to sedimentation within the siphon. This leads to a reduction in the drainage capacity and ultimately clogging of the siphon.
- siphons with so-called membrane technology such as described in the not yet published European patent application 05 024 759.2
- Tubular, downwardly tapered membranes are used, the contact area between the membrane surfaces being relatively large. This leads to a reduction in the drainage capacity of the siphon. Deposits form which further reduces drainage performance.
- overpressure in the duct system not all diaphragms close 100% tightly. If the pressure is higher, they will twist and no longer function when re-pressurized with liquid such as urine.
- These siphons also have only a drain opening, which are thus significantly disturbed, for example, in constipation in their operation.
- a sanitary system in particular a waterless urinal according to the wording of claim 1, is proposed.
- the sanitary installation proposed according to the invention has the features of claim 1.
- the membrane or foil which closes off the opening in the tube wall is an elastic material such as an elastomer, a rubber-like material, latex or the like, the material having a corresponding chemical resistance corresponding to the liquid to be discharged, for example the urine.
- the membrane or the diaphragm which seals off the tube outside are preferably held together above the openings by a ring-like hose-like section together on the tube, wherein the elasticity of the membrane material keeps this annular or tubular portion biased on the outside of the tube wall.
- tubular housing at the bottom with so-called spacer feet or serrated slopes to better dry the liquid from the housing after passing through the openings by reduction to minimize the dripping area, resulting in slowing down the build-up of deposits and resulting in longer shelf life.
- Fig. 1 shows, for example, a ceramic basin 2 for a waterless urine system in lateral cross-section.
- a discharge or outlet insert 10 is shown opening into an end pipe 13 and an adjacent sewage connection 33.
- Fig. 2 is the drain insert 10 with a so-called Siphonteller 20 in the expiration of the ceramic bowl 2 (indicated by dashed lines) used.
- a siphon cover 17 is arranged with lateral small slots 18, which prevents the penetration of larger foreign bodies.
- a collecting space 8 is arranged below the siphon cover 17 in which the liquid leaving the urinal 15 passes through the lateral slots 18, and from which collecting space 8, the liquid is further passed through an opening 16 in a liquid outlet 13.
- An outer rosette notched on the outside of the liquid outlet prevents, in interaction with the siphon plate 20, the tilting of the siphon or of the drainage insert in the urinal basin. Due to the design of siphon plate and spacer rosette, the drain insert adapts to any unevenness and roundness, so that no additional sealing material is required, especially in the case of ceramic urinals, to prevent the passage of channel gases.
- the introduced through the Siphonteller 20 liquid now passes through the opening 16 in the liquid outlet pipe 13, which is tubular preferably formed round on which outside at least one, preferably two flexible flutter valves 12 are mounted, for example made of natural latex, which close the underlying tapered side housing openings 23 airtight ,
- the introduced from above liquid 15 is divided by a roof-shaped housing closure 14 inserted from below and guided to the tapered housing openings 23, where the liquid passes through the valves and runs without residue. Due to the adhesive force, the flutter valve 12 again lie against the exterior of the tubular housing 13 and seal the housing openings 23 airtight.
- the tapered openings 23 have a larger area than the opening 16 in the Siphonteller, which can lead to no backwater within the housing. This leads to a faster process and prevents the formation of deposits or sedimentation.
- the arranged at the lower end of the liquid outlet 13 spacer feet 21 prevent too deep insertion of the siphon. In addition, they drain the fluids from the housing openings 23 and minimize the drip areas, resulting in slowing down the build-up of deposits and resulting in longer shelf life.
- siphon or drain insert 10 can also be used as a one-sided ventilation system.
- Fig. 3 shows the siphon or drain insert 10 seen in side view of an opening 23 in the drain pipe 13 of the siphon.
- the opening 23 (shown in dashed lines) is covered by a membrane or film 12 and is closed when not in use.
- Fig. 4 shows an inventive liquid spout in the extended state, consisting of discharge pipe 13 having the lateral openings 23 and the terminal spacer feet 21, as well as the openings covering or closing membrane 12 and the lower housing closure 14.
- the two the openings 23 closing diaphragm or films 12th are held together above by means of a tubular ring 32, which can be pulled in a hose-like biased over the tube 13 due to its elasticity.
- Characterized the membrane 12 are held firmly on the tubular housing 13, whereby a tight closure of the openings 23 is made possible.
- the housing closure 14 is preferably roof-shaped, so that the liquid introduced above is divided and guided to the housing openings 23.
- the drainage insert or siphon shown and described is, of course, just one example to further explain the present invention.
- a roof-shaped housing closure does not necessarily have to be provided, but instead a conical closure or a closure with differently bevelled surfaces can be arranged. It is important that the liquid is optimally guided to the corresponding openings.
- a natural latex material does not necessarily have to be used for the diaphragms or foils of the valves, but any elastic materials such as elastomers, rubbers and the like may be used.
- the described siphon can also be used in water-flushed urinals. In addition, it can also be used in all other water-bearing sanitary facilities (for example bidet or similar). Furthermore, the Multisiphon can also be used for all other fluid-carrying installations where one-sided discharge is necessary and fluid or air recirculation must be prevented.

Description
The present invention relates to a waterless sanitary installation according to the preamble of
The disadvantage of the known waterless urinals with barrier liquids is that this liquid often has to be topped up, since in each case at least part of them is entrained by the liquid passing through the siphon, in particular in the urine. Even more when cleaning the sanitary facilities such as the waterless urinal, the barrier liquid is generally completely washed away, so that it must be refilled. In particular, the known bell siphons have the disadvantage that here the urine remains in the body for a very long time, which leads to precipitations of the urinary contents and thus to sedimentation within the siphon. This leads to a reduction in the drainage capacity and ultimately clogging of the siphon.
In siphons with so-called buoyancy bodies, the urine also remains long in the siphon insert, which leads to the above problems. When used in so-called electro-mechanical buoyancy devices a radar or approach electronics with electromagnets is necessary for the function. In addition to the necessary power supply, the repair costs are not insignificant. In the case of purely mechanical functioning buoyant bodies, a not inconsiderable residual amount of urine remains in the urinal, which leads to odor nuisance.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to propose a waterless urinal or generally a waterless sanitary installation, in which in a drain siphon to prevent odor not is constantly refill liquid or in which or which, for example, in a used drainage membrane, the above-mentioned problems can be prevented.
According to the invention, a sanitary system, in particular a waterless urinal according to the wording of
The sanitary installation proposed according to the invention has the features of
The membrane or foil which closes off the opening in the tube wall is an elastic material such as an elastomer, a rubber-like material, latex or the like, the material having a corresponding chemical resistance corresponding to the liquid to be discharged, for example the urine.
The membrane or the diaphragm which seals off the tube outside are preferably held together above the openings by a ring-like hose-like section together on the tube, wherein the elasticity of the membrane material keeps this annular or tubular portion biased on the outside of the tube wall.
Again, according to another embodiment variant, it is possible to arrange in the region of the cover and / or of the collecting space formed under the cover disinfectants and / or deodorizing agents, which optionally when wetting, for example, by urine disinfectant and / or deodorant agents to prevent, for example, odors.
Again, according to a further embodiment, it is proposed to provide the tubular housing at the bottom with so-called spacer feet or serrated slopes to better dry the liquid from the housing after passing through the openings by reduction to minimize the dripping area, resulting in slowing down the build-up of deposits and resulting in longer shelf life.
Further preferred embodiments of the inventive sanitary installation are characterized in dependent claims.
Further proposed for a waterless sanitary installation is a siphon having the features of claim 9.
Schliesslich vorgeschlagen wird ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer wasserlosen Sanitäranlage mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 9.Finally, a method for operating a waterless sanitary facility with the features of claim 9 is proposed.
The invention will now be explained in more detail by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The introduced through the Siphonteller 20 liquid now passes through the opening 16 in the
By dividing the introduced liquid such as the urine in the housing into two or
The
The arranged at the lower end of the

Also, a natural latex material does not necessarily have to be used for the diaphragms or foils of the valves, but any elastic materials such as elastomers, rubbers and the like may be used.
The described siphon can also be used in water-flushed urinals. In addition, it can also be used in all other water-bearing sanitary facilities (for example bidet or similar). Furthermore, the Multisiphon can also be used for all other fluid-carrying installations where one-sided discharge is necessary and fluid or air recirculation must be prevented.
