A device for producing packs (10) having an outer wrapping of shrinkable film (17), in particular cuboid cigarette packs, to which packs heat can be supplied in the region of a shrinking unit as a continuously movable endless conveyor, namely a shrinking conveyor, wherein the packs (10) can be transported by the shrinking conveyor at a distance apart from one another and each pack (10) is assigned, in the region of the shrinking conveyor, heating members which bear against at least two pack faces for transferring heat to the packs (10) during transport by the shrinking conveyor, characterized by with the following features:
    a) the shrinking unit is configured as a rotary shrinking conveyor (19) having receptacles (21) for a respective pack (10),
    b) each receptacle (21) is assigned as heating members at least two traveling heating plates (22, 23), which are disposed on mutually opposing sides of the packs (10),
    c) the heating members, during the conveyance of the packs (10) by the shrinking revolver (19), temporarily bear against separate pack faces, preferably against two large-area pack sides (11, 12),
    d) the packs (10) are fixed in the receptacles (21) by in each case two holding members which can be moved independently of the heating plates (22, 23), namely by movable holding jaws (28, 29), which bear against exposed pack faces not covered by the heating plates (22, 23).
  2. The device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the heating members, in particular heating plates (22, 23), can be moved, in particular swivelled, relative to the packs (10) and, at least in the region of a receiving station (34) and/or of a delivery station (36), are raised from the packs.
  3. The device as claimed in claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the heating plates (22, 23) are respectively disposed on a swivel lever (25, 26) and can be swivelled by these such that the heating plates (22, 23), in a position raised from the packs (10), are directed in an outwardly diverging relative position, but when bearing contact against the packs (10), on the other hand, are directed parallel to each other.
  4. The device as claimed in claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the cuboid packs (10) in the receptacles (21) are aligned with a longitudinal extent axis-parallel to the shrinking revolver (19), in particular such that large-area pack sides, namely front side (11) and rear side (12), point forward and rearward in the rotational direction of the shrinking revolver (19), while smaller pack faces, in particular the end face (15) and bottom face (16), are exposed on both sides of the receptacle (21), the holding jaws (28, 29) preferably coming to bear against the end face (15) and bottom face (16) in opposite-facing arrangement.
  5. The device as claimed in claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the two holding jaws (28, 29) assigned to a receptacle (21) are disposed on jointly actuatable swivel arms (30, 31) and can be swivelled with these into and out of engagement with the packs (10).
  6. The device as claimed in claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the holding jaws (28, 29), in particular their swivel arms (30, 31), are attached to a common, movable supporting member, in particular to a rotatable supporting rod (32), in such a way that the holding jaws (28, 29), by appropriate movement of the supporting rod (32), can be moved out of the peripheral region of the shrinking revolver (19) in order to accept a pack (10) from a supply conveyor and/or to transfer packs (10), subsequent to the shrinking process, to an evacuating conveyor (27).
  7. The device as claimed in claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that each receptacle (21) has a radially inner supporting member for the packs (10), in particular a fixed stop element (35) for the exact positioning of the pack (10) in the receptacle (21).
  8. The device as claimed in claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the packs (10) can be inserted into the receptacle (21) by the movable holding jaws (28, 29), wherein the heating plates (22, 23), once a pack (10) has been deposited, can be moved into bearing contact against the pack (10), whereafter the holding jaws (28, 29) can be moved briefly out of and then back into engagement with the packs (10) and preferably bear against the packs (10) during the shrinking.
  9. The device as claimed in claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the heating members, in particular heating plates (22, 23), of all receptacles (21) of the shrinking revolver (19) can be moved jointly out of engagement or out of contact with the packs (10), in particular with the contact position of the holding jaws (28, 29) being maintained.
