Definitions
- An Indian EP 0 179 002 A (translated Patent E 32 767 B) described closing machine of this type has a fixed to the door top housing in which a vertically aligned shaft is mounted for a pivoting lever.
- a rod is slidably mounted, the free end engages in a fixed to the door or window frame slider, such that when opening and closing the wing, the rod end is translationally displaced in the slider, whereby the pivot arm or pivot lever is pivoted ,
- the shaft carries within the housing a pinion, which meshes with a horizontally oriented, spring-loaded rack, such that upon opening the door, the spring is biased to release this force to close the wing again.
- a locking device which secures the wing against automatic closing under the influence of the prestressed spring element.
- a disadvantage of this locking machine is that in or on the door or window wing for the horizontally oriented adjusting device, consisting essentially of the pinion, the rack and the spring element, a relatively large amount of space is required.
- the invention has for its object to find a contrast, both in construction and in their function simplified solution.
- the closing machine according to the invention is characterized in that the spring force of the spring element is parallel to the shaft is effective, such that the pivotal movement of the pivot lever is converted into a parallel to the shaft aligned linear movement of the actuator.
- FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of a door or window frame A, in whose upper, horizontally oriented frame portion, an actuator in the form of a vertically oriented pin 1 is used.
- an actuator in the form of a vertically oriented pin 1 is used.
- the in FIG. 3 fastener shown attached from the in FIG. 1 only the cooperating with the actuator 1 pivot lever 2 is shown.
- the pivot lever 2 is rigidly attached to a shaft 5, which forms a vertical pivot axis for the pivot lever 2 in the installed state of the lock in a door or window sash C.
- the pivot lever 2 is fork-shaped at its free end with two different lengths forks 2.1, 2.2, between which in the closed state of the window or door leaf C of the pin 1 is located.
- the closing machine is attached by means of a forend 3 to or in the wing C, which is provided for this purpose with a bore receiving the automatic closing machine.
- the closure machine includes an upper sleeve-shaped actuator 8, which in the installed state is arranged stationarily in the wing C, e.g. by attachment to the forend 3, if one is used.
- the upper sleeve-shaped actuator 8 includes a lower also designed as a cylinder sleeve actuator 7, which is displaceable on the shaft 5 and an axially extending guide slot 7.2, preferably two diametrically opposite guide slots, in which a mounted on the shaft 5, essentially radially aligned guide pin 5.1 protrudes or protrude into the guide pins.
- the lower actuator 7 is supported on a preferably designed as a helical compression spring element 6, which is supported with its lower end on an abutment 9.
- This counter-bearing 9 preferably has the shape of an adjusting nut which is screwed onto a thread 5 attached to the lower end of the shaft 5.
- the two mutually aligned actuators 7 and 8 have in the region of the opposite ends in the radial and axial direction inclined sliding surfaces 7.1 and 8.1, which are associated with each other so that when pivoting the pivot lever 2, the lower actuator 7 is displaced relative to the stationary actuator 8 in the axial direction, such that when opening the door or window sash C, the lower actuator 7 against the spring force of Spring element 6 is pressed down, whereby this spring element 6 is biased.
- the guide slot 7.2 or the guide slots and the guide pin 5.1 and the guide pins are coordinated so that pivoting of the pivot lever 2 and the associated rotation of the shaft 5, the lower actuator 7 under the influence of cooperating inclined sliding surfaces 7.1, 8.1 rotated on the one hand and on the other hand pressed down.
- pivoting movement of the pivot lever 2 ends when the wing C opens when the shorter forks 2.2 is swung out of the sphere of influence of the pin 1 and the lower actuator 7 has been rotated relative to the upper actuator 8 so far that at the outer ends of the inclined surfaces 7.1 and 8.1 located latching organs, preferably in the form of interlocking recesses 7.3 and projections 8.3, engage each other.
- This locking members cause that after the release of the pivot lever 2 of the pin 1, the pivot lever 2 is not pivoted back into its rest position, but so long remains in this detent position until closing the door or window sash C by hand, the longer fork 2.1 of the pivot lever.
- the locking members 7.3 and 8.3 correspond to a possible solution to hold the pivot lever when opening the door in its locked position.
- the spring element 6 consists of a helical compression spring. Instead of a helical compression spring and a gas spring can be used, which is then supported according to the helical compression spring 6 between the lower end of the lower actuator 7 and the adjustable along the thread 5.1 thrust bearing 9.
- FIGS. 5 and 6 show lower and upper cylindrical actuators 10, 11, which instead of in the FIGS. 3 and 4 shown actuators 7 and 8 are mounted on the shaft 5.
- the lower, provided with at least one axial slot 7.2 corresponding axial slot 10.2 actuator 10 has in the region of its outer periphery at least one adjoining inclined surfaces 10.3, axially aligned projection 10.1, while in the shell of the upper second actuator 11 for each projection 10.1 two adjacent, and Inclined surfaces forming, axially aligned indentations 11.1; 11.2 different depths are arranged, between each of which a latching projection 11.3 is located.

The closure machine includes an upper sleeve-
To the upper sleeve-
The two mutually aligned
The guide slot 7.2 or the guide slots and the guide pin 5.1 and the guide pins are coordinated so that pivoting of the
When manually opening the door or window sash C of the
The locking members 7.3 and 8.3 correspond to a possible solution to hold the pivot lever when opening the door in its locked position.
