Abstract

PROTECTIVE PANTS
The current utility model refers to presently available pants. Prior Art
With the pants currently on the market, you must put your feet through the pant legs to put them on or take them off. It is both awkward and embarrassing to put them on and take them off in public, when the rain starts and stops. It is also uncomfortable to keep them on for prolonged lengths of time as impermeable materials prevent ventilation and cause heat.
Some models have openings on the bottoms using zippers which allow them to be put on or taken off while keeping your shoes on. Nonetheless, it is still an impractical method because on rainy days shoes typically become wet and/ or dirty. Galoshes on the market are bulky, making convenient transportation difficult.
It is also difficult to put them on in the street.

The Best Way to Produce the Invention
The cut is practically the same as on ordinary pants without a fly. Instead of a fly, there is stitching, similar to how the backside and the inner sides of the legs are sewn (8) . On pants meant for motorcyclists, it is necessary to seal the stitching. There are many techniques for sealing, depending on the material the pants are made of.
Hems of about 2.5 centimeters are made along the edges of the front sides (3). In addition to being finishing, these hems are to strengthen the strips of Velcro (1) glued along the inside at the waist, hips and thighs.
The hems along the back side edges (7) are narrower, as they are only for finishing.
There is no narrowing at the waist in our design, as they are adjusted with the strips of Velcro (1) placed horizontally. This allows them to be one-size-fits-all. At the thigh, shin and ankle, the Velcro (1) is attached vertically. The strips of Velcro (1) at the thighs and shins are slightly inclined on the back sides, to facilitate adjustment. This raised Velcro (1) causes an excess of cloth between the Velcro (1) and the edges of the pants (7). This excess cloth allows smaller strips of Velcro (1) to be used, leaving larger empty spaces, without exposure to bad weather, as the front and back are overlaid. Smaller strips of Velcro (1) are easier to open and close.
In drawing 3, we can see that strips of cloth (9) are used on the inside to strengthen the locations where Velcro (1) is sewn on the outside. The reinforcement should be made of thicker material, such as cowhide, as it also provides density, making closing easier.
A piece of Velcro can be placed inside the pants, on the lower hem, to be attached to shoe covers (5).
The shoe covers (5) should be made of light flexible material, to facilitate their transportation. For reasonable stability, with all the wind faced on a motorcycle, they should be tied on with a strap (4). The strap wraps around the cover (5) and the user's ankle. It too is attached with Velcro (1), which allows them to be put on and taken off easily.
If the rain is very intense, a plastic bag can be placed around your foot before putting on the pants, shoe cover (5) and belt (4), thus reducing the risk of leaks. In drawings 5 and 6, the shoe cover is shown open. According to drawing 6, one of the two strips of Velcro (1) used to close the shoe cover (5) is glued on the front (10) of the inside. The front (10) is sewn onto the back (12) and has a strip (11) sewn on its upper side. The Velcro (1) used to attach the shoe cover (5) to the hem (6) of the pants is glued on the right side of this strip (11). The back side (12) can be made out of even more flexible material. According to drawing 5, the other strip of Velcro (1) used to close the shoe cover is glued on its right side.
Drawing 7 shows that the strap is made of a folded strip with sewn edges. The cloth should be light, impermeable, and resistant. There is a piece of Velcro (1) glued onto each side and end.
Possible Industrial Applications
This model can be made with the motorcycle consumer in mind, who already uses pants and shoes for protection against bad weather. In addition, it would also be practical for pedestrians in general as it would prove beneficial for walking in windy rain, when umbrellas are not enough. They can be made of several different waterproof materials and other material, such as transparent plastic, using stitching and/or thermal welding. The pants can also be made for use in environments which require asepsis, due to the facility with which they can be put on and taken off in such places. For this case, it is possible to use other material, such as cotton, as well as other closing devices, such as buttons and strips of cloth that tie around the waist.

Similar pants on the market have elastic at the waist or openings located between the waist and the hips and shins and the galoshes are bulky and hard to put on.
