La présente invention concerne un procédé pour la mise au rebut provisoire de mégots de cigarettes. Une boîte à cigarettes (10) présente un compartiment (12) pour contenir des cigarettes (14). Le paquet a un contenant extensible (28) séparé du compartiment (12) tout en lui étant adjacent. Le contenant (28) a des éléments élastiques (20) ouvrant disposés sur le dessus du contenant (28).
