Claims (25)

  1. Method for transferring a web, especially a paper web (6), from a press section to a drying section (2), especially in a paper machine or the like, in which the web (6) is divided into a strip and a remaining web, the remaining web is led away after a drying cylinder (32) used as a removal drying cylinder, and initially only the strip severed in this way is led through the entire drying section (2) and the web (6) is then widened,
