Description

Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass zumindest weitgehend oberhalb des Zahnriemendeckels eine Anfügefläche für einen eine Wasserpumpe tragenden Wasserpumpenträger an dem Kurbelgehäuse und/oder dem Zylinderkopf vorgesehen ist, dass in das Kurbelgehäuse und/oder in den Zylinderkopf mit dem Wasserpumpenträger zusammenwirkende Kühlwasserübertritte angeordnet sind und dass der Wasserpumpenträger integrierte Kühlwasserübertrittsleitungen sowie einen Thermostatraum aufweist. Dieser Ausbildung liegt zunächst einmal die Erkenntnis zugrunde, dass eine solche Brennkraftmaschine für unterschiedliche Einsatzzwecke und Einbauten sehr unterschiedliche Anforderungen an die Anbauorte von Anbaukomponenten wie beispielsweise Lichtmaschine, Lüfter, Klimakompressor und Hydraulikpumpe, soweit diese vorhanden sind, stellt. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung sind wesentliche Bauteile eines Kühlwasserkreislaufs in ein Anbauteil integriert. Dadurch steht an anderen Stellen der Brennkraftmaschine, an denen sonst diese Bauteile verteilt angeordnet sind, Platz für die Anbaukomponenten zur Verfügung. Die Brennkraftmaschine mit allen Hauptbauteilen wie Kurbelgehäuse und Zylinderkopf kann durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung des Wasserpumpenträgers und der Integration von Kühlwasserübertrittsleitungen zu an definierten Stellen des Kurbelgehäuses und des Zylinderkopfes angeordneten Kühlwasserübertritten auch bei unterschiedlichen Ausgestaltungen des Wasserpumpenträgers und bei unterschiedlicher Anordnung von Anbaukomponenten gleich ausgestaltet sein. Weiterhin ist es möglich, den Wasserpumpenträger - wie in weiterer Ausgestaltung vorgesehen - in verschiedenen Ausgestaltungen zu bauen. Dabei können dann insbesondere die Wasserpumpe und der Lüfter gegebenenfalls unter Verwendung eines Lüfterträgers mit integraler Lüfterlagerung an verschiedenen räumlichen Positionen angeordnet werden. Claims (6)
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zumindest weitgehend oberhalb des Zahnriemendeckels (7) eine Anfügefläche für einen eine Wasserpumpe (9) tragenden Wasserpumpenträger (8, 8a, 8b, 8c) an dem Kurbelgehäuse (1) und/oder dem Zylinderkopf (2) vorgesehen ist, dass in das Kurbelgehäuse (1) und/oder in den Zylinderkopf (2) mit dem Wasserpumpenträger (8, 8a, 8b, 8c) zusammenwirkende Kühlwasserübertritte angeordnet sind und dass der Wasserpumpenträger (8, 8a, 8b, 8c) integrierte Kühlwasserübertrittsleitungen sowie einen Thermostatraum (13) aufweist.Internal combustion engine having a crankcase, which has at least one cylinder covered by a cylinder head, in which a piston articulated via a connecting rod on a crankshaft mounted in the crankcase is movable, wherein the internal combustion engine has a cylinder cooling space and a cylinder head cooling space and a lubricating oil system and wherein at one a toothed belt space covered by a toothed belt cover is disposed opposite a flywheel side of the internal combustion engine, wherein the toothed belt rotatably connects at least one crankshaft and a camshaft mounted in the crankcase in the region below the cylinder head,
